An Intimate Chennai Wedding With Beautiful Bridal Kanjeevarams

Shruthi & Anand, both doctors, met in a hospital and fell in love with each other! Their beautiful love was celebrated by their closest friends & family when they decided to tie the knot. A pandemic was brewing and the couple wanted to take their vows before going back to duty and they ended up having a fun wedding with majority of functions having DIY decor and being celebrated at the bride's home. Shruthi wore some gorgeous Kanjeevarams throughtout. From the soft blue & baby pink combination she chose for her enegagement to the bright purple and green one she opted for her wedding, her choices were beautiful and bookmark-worthy. It was an intimate wedding, but not lacking in love, joy or fun in any manner.

How they met?

"At the hospital. I was an intern posted in critical care, while he was the junior doctor there when we met :) Our first meeting started off with him introducing himself and teaching me some medical calculations :D"

It was a Tamil Brahmin wedding, which was held in August 2020 amongst the covid 19 pandemic. With an intense lockdown, non functional hotels and restricted guest list, most of our functions were held at home.
