Breathtaking Chandigarh Wedding With Love-Worthy Bridal Look

BY Aakanksha | 24 Jun, 2021 | 3417 views | 3 min read

When we sat down to write what we loved about Harleen & Daman's wedding celebrations, we struggled with it. Because there was not just 1 or 2 things! There was a whole list.

Gorgeously offbeat maroon bridal lehenga? ✔️ Check!

A combined haldi-mehendi function? ✔️ Check!

An intimate gathering with closest of friends and family? ✔️ Check!

And a love story that melted our hearts? ✔️✔️✔️ Check check check!

With so many different elements and details that stunned us, we knew we had to feature it. And Harleen's bridal lehenga is truly one of the most offbeat ones we've seen in recent times. A traditional colour, with modern detailing, it was everything a millennial bride could've asked for. So scroll down and get lost in the splendour of this wedding, just as we were.

Meet Harleen & Daman

Daman had come to India from Canada for his bestfriend's wedding in December 2019. We met afterwards and really hit off well. We decided to tell our parents that we want to get married. They were apprehensive at first due to the suddeness of our decision, but we both knew that it cannot get better than this - WITHIN A WEEK OF MEETING! Daman went to Canada afterwards and I had plans of visiting him but then Covid happened. It was difficult at first carrying out a long distance relationship and the uncertainity regarding the date of the marriage, but it was the love for each other and the longing to meet each other again which made this a smooth journey. Daman finally took AN EMERGENCY VISA from the Canadian authorities and flew to India in February 2021 to get married to me. And here we are together .. happily married!

Venue: The Amaltas Farms, Chandigarh
The Amaltas Farms is a beautiful gem located in the middle of the tricity. From the garden to the fountain to the beautiful architecture of the palace and the view... everything was exactly what we wanted for a serene and beautiful sunny day wedding! The whole place was decorated with fresh flowers - liles, tulips and orchids amongst many more! The opportunities to get amazing shots here is plentiful due to lot of different backgrounds! The owner went out of the way for everything and was thorughly professional. They dressed up Amaltas exactly how we wanted! Dream come true.
