Breezy Destination Wedding In Thailand With An Ethereal Bride In Ivory

BY Sakshi | 18 Apr, 2024 | 1171 views | 4 min read

It's been over 2 years, and now we feel like ivory lehengas might just be a modern classic for brides. There is this sort of elegance an ivory lehenga exudes which is unmatched - and here is yet another bride proving just that! Friyana and Ronak had their beautiful destination wedding by the beachside in Thailand, and we are loving the bride's styling! She knocked it out of the park at each and every pre wedding event - but our favourite look has to be her wedding look. Looking dainty in an ivory and gold lehenga, this is one bride who can give you loads of inspiration for your upcoming wedding!

Meet Friyana and Ronak

Ronak & I did our undergrad together at Jai Hind college and thats where it all started 11 years back in 2012.

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on December 12, 2023. I've always been a little obsessed with my wedding for years and had been picturising and planning things ever since. For me my wedding was to be everything about Him & I. It wasn't about bringing the biggest star but was being the biggest star and highlight of those three days! We did everything which we liked and made us happy and in turn the guests at the wedding felt the joy and were part of every small pooja/function with the same enthusiasm as us! I knew those three days would never come back and could never be replicated or repeated and hence i put in all the efforts to ensure I did everything that would make us happy and remember those three days as something we created for ourselves and which everyone who was a part of would remember in some way, big or small!

Yes I did use the WedMeGood App for browsing wedding venues.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: JW Marriott, Khao Lak

Our wedding was in Thailand at JW Marriott, Khao Lak. We visited Thailand for our first recee in Feb for our wedding to take place on 24-25-26th November, while we returned back from Thailand with hope that the panditji could cast a spell and make few other days auspicious and to the little miracle our dates were changed to 5-6-7th December only so we could have our wedding at this property! And that could be the best review i'd have for this beautiful property by Marriott at which we happily rode our chariot.

Makeup and Hair: Afreen & Smita

These magicians and nothing but phenomenal! I had taken them for my sisters wedding in May, 2022. I was soooo happy with their work where dressing up felt amazing and not a stress on those days! They planned my looks they ensured i was comfortable and they were sooo warm that when my dates were finalized the first person i messaged was Afreen to ensure i block her dates. They are the nicest to work with and you can feel comfortable and at ease between all the chaos during those 2 hours before all the functions!

Photography: FourFold

It took me a while to finalize on the photographers but we're glad we went ahead with them! We did have references to fall back on but Gaurav did do a great job and it was nice to have him and his team around through all our functions.

Decor: Kanokit Decorators

For my wedding i knew exactly what i wanted for each function! I had created my own mood board and had presented it to our events team! When we visited thailand i met up with Nuk from Kanokit Decorators! She was extremely sweet and tried understanding each thing i wanted and was able to give all we wanted.
