So when she got married, we just couldn't wait to see what she'll wear! From wearing beautiful lehengas from her own label, Sukriti & Aakriti, to shining in an offbeat Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her wedding, this stylist made sure that she looked like a million bucks at her wedding! Complimenting her wedding outfit, her husband wore the same shades and looked as elegant as her! This bride made sure that her entire wedding was an intimate affair with people closest to her in attendance. Sukriti pens down how they met and why they chose Antalya, Turkey as their destination wedding location, "We have been dating for over 7 years and meet in Bombay through a common friend. It started when I moved to Bombay for work and there was no looking back since then. We were sure that it would be a destination wedding as it’s a more intimate affair. I am a beach bum so it had to be a beach front . We cho se Antalya , Turkey as it has lots of elements of nature such a splendid Mediterranean beaches, hypnotising sunsets, sparkly blue sky & green forests spread over great properties with high quality wedding service and thus it became our pick undoubtedly."

Sukriti tells us about the details of her stunning outfits and what went behind choosing each and every one of them -
"The Sangeet night was an all white affair. I think nothing looks as elegant and serene as white . Thus the decor and theme was white and gold, with a minimalistic yet elegant touch. Being a designer I designed my own Sangeet lehenga with my sister . It’s the new range of bridal line being launched at the Sukriti & Aakriti headquarters . It was an off white chikankari lehenga with pastel embroidery and gold highlights . There is a graceful elegance to chikankari white . It was infused with crystals , Sequin Zara and Zardosi work in gold and pastel shades. Matched it to a lotus motif polki neck piece & earrings and finished the look with pastel bangles .
Mehendi's theme was 'Fun in the sun'. It was a day Mehendi, out in the open in the sprawling Rixos Belek lawns. It was undoubtedly a Sukriti & Aakriti dress code . The entire Squad was dressed in Sukriti & Aakriti. Rich purple sheen of the aubergine extended to my Sukriti and Aakriti outfit! Wanted it to be light and festive!
Beach Party was an easy breezy and light theme. Swapnil Shinde was super sweet to customise a lime green beach dress with a high slit adding the oomph factor!
My pick was a Sabyasachi for the wedding day undoubtedly. I was extremely sure of not doing a red or pink as it’s a cliché, white has become the new red for brides too. I wanted it to be an unusual colour pick. Also the decor was minimal with foliage dressing! I am a sucker of rustic floral aesthetics and knew that I wanted it to a minimal foliage garden decor at the pier! Perfect to this foliage decor both of us coordinated our Sabyasachi outfits in Green . Also polki is so done & I love the elegance of temple jewellery ! Sabyasachi temple jewellery fit perfectly with the gold and green of the lehenga . Added the traditional unique touch was the beautiful Palki kaleeras by Raabta by Rahul!
I wore a grey gown in green & blue bugle beads by Gaurav Gupta for the reception! Was an edgier pick than softer pastel picks! His fits and construction is unmatchable!"
