Fun, colorful wedding in Delhi

BY The WMG Bride | 15 May, 2015 | 4740 views | 3 min read

Obsessed with Candy crush? Well you may relate perfectly to Tania and Kabir who had a Candy crush themed photobooth ! Not just that- there were so many other  personalised details these two incorporated right from a memory table, to beautiful signage and their own Instagram hashtag. These pictures seem so fun, you can't help but smile .

Meet Tania and Kabir
Tania recounts "Kabir and I met in Orissa of all places . My family was vacationing in Puri when we went to his place for dinner and I actually fell in love with his beautiful dalmation, Gangsta who was a 40 day old puppy at the time. We dated for two years and did the whole Delhi-Bhubaneshwar long distance thing and I guess we both decided that enough was enough. In the summer of 2013 we planned a mini Euro-trip where we went to the most romantic cities - Paris, Florence, Venice and Munich. In Venice, Kabir kept trying to get us to go for a gondola ride , and I finally relented. On the gondola, he pulled out a little red box and got down on one knee - which is quite a balancing act in a narrow gondola :)"

What a thoughtful table to commemorate those who passed away. And... a candy crush photo booth???

Both functions were at my home in Central Delhi because I wanted to be married there. I had to have amazing food at my wedding so I had several tasting sessions with my caterer, Feeding Concepts, and reworked the menu many times before I was completely satisfied. I was very happy with the final outcome and a year and a half on, people still tell me how beautiful the venues looked and also remember the food which is the best thing for any bride to hear.
I had a lot of time to plan my wedding because we had about a 9 month period from the time Kabir asked me to marry him and the wedding. I did do a lot of research but by and large knew the colours I wanted to wear. I knew I didnt want a traditional red lehenga so I opted for an orange-peach color which worked well for me.
