Meet Shiv & Vasundhara
Shiv and Vasundhara met just one month after Vasundhara moved to New York City through common friends. They knew there was something special as they could not stop talking to each after they met. The deal was sealed on their third date when Shiv met Vasundhara's brother and cousins. He made quite an impression on them as the two were inseparable after this. The true test came when Shiv went abroad six months into their relationship to attend business school in Singapore and Paris. The next one year was quite a ride with long distance. (Thank goodness for WhatsApp!)
In 2016, Vasundhara came back home from work to an apartment beautifully decorated with flowers, candles, and champagne. Shiv got down on one knee and popped the question! (Of course, she said yes) The newly engaged went out to dinner to celebrate and then to a surprise party for Vasundhara that Shiv had planned with all their friends. It was magical.

For my Mehendi, I wanted something fun and flirty and the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation with the pastel yellow lehenga and the abla work blouse was just perfect for my poolside event...! I wanted to go glam for the sangeet and I had my heart set on the gold Sabyasachi lehenga the moment I saw it, so I topped it up with statement polki and emerald Sabyasachi earrings and a maang tikka to match to add a touch of color and drama! For the wedding, I wanted to wear pink as I am Kashmiri and we wear pink on our weddings..and nothing is prettier than Anita's pinks! I really wanted to enjoy my own wedding and not be weighed down by heavy outfits and jewelry and that was a big factor in deciding what designers and outfits I would get!"
