Muslin cloth bags for silk sarees are a lifesaver. Do not put them in those cheap plastic saree covers, however, pretty they may look. If you want to have see-through packing for your gifting purposes, I would recommend a single-use plastic cover that you can dispose of immediately after the event so that it doesn’t stay in it for too long!
