For her Haldi, Fuhaar completely reimagined ceremony fashion by channeling the timeless grace of Shakuntala, stepping away from conventional yellow lehengas in favor of an ethereal, classical ensemble.

Instead of bright marigolds, the foundation began with a diaphanous, sheer ivory saree. Draped loosely across the body with a gathered strapless bandeau and a long, sweeping pallu that pooled onto the courtyard floor, the silhouette felt natural, poetic, and relaxed.

Rather than reaching for heavy glam, the beauty details leaned entirely into classical art. The defining feature was a pair of delicate white lotus motifs hand-painted beside her eyes, subtly nodding to traditional temple and chandan art.
