This Bride's Incredible Style Had Us Hooked At This Fabulous Udaipur Wedding

Some weddings are memorable for the décor, others for the destination- but Vishesh and Kavisha's celebration had an effortless sense of style woven into every moment. Planned to perfection by Phoenix Event Media Group, this intimate yet visually stunning Udaipur wedding unfolded across two beautiful ceremonies- a vibrant Hindu wedding followed by a soulful Anand Karaj. While every celebration was thoughtfully designed, it was Kavisha's impeccably curated bridal wardrobe that truly stole the spotlight. From a dreamy peach Anand Karaj ensemble to a statement reception look and vibrant pre-wedding outfits, each look felt completely distinct from the last. Adding an even more personal touch was her bespoke bridal jewellery, custom-designed by the groom's own family jewellery label, Punjabi Saraf, making every ensemble feel deeply meaningful as well as breathtaking.

Meet Vishesh and Kavisha

Vishesh and I went to the same school in Indore—Daly College—but somehow never crossed paths. After school, he moved to Chicago for college while I went to Melbourne. We reconnected after COVID during our school's alumni elections, and what started as a casual conversation quickly became something more. We bonded over how home didn't quite feel like home after living abroad, realised we shared the same outlook on life and family, and naturally became close friends. Friendship slowly turned into love, and before we knew it, we'd found exactly what we weren't looking for.

The Proposal

The proposal completely caught me off guard. I was in Da Nang, Vietnam, travelling with my mom before another trip with friends. Vishesh, who was in Mumbai, convinced me to visit a cocktail bar called The Craftsman and even made the reservation. As I sat there, the DJ suddenly played a Peter Cat Recording Co. song that meant a lot to us. I instinctively picked up my phone to text him, 'They're playing our song!' But before I hit send, I looked up—and there he was, standing in front of me with a bouquet and a ring. It was the most thoughtful and unforgettable surprise.

About The Wedding

Our celebrations began with a joyful Phoolon Ki Haldi filled with flowers, games, dancing and Rajasthani folk performances. One of our favourite moments was the baraat—we wanted there to be no distinction between the bride's side and the groom's side. Dancing with my family before seamlessly joining Vishesh's procession made it feel like everyone was celebrating together. The evening ended with our dreamy varmala.

The next morning, we exchanged vows in an intimate Anand Karaj at the Gurudwara, followed by a relaxed 'Welcome Mr. & Mrs. Anand' celebration at Trident. We wrapped up the festivities with a spectacular sangeet full of heartfelt performances before ending the celebrations with our reception.
