I was a November 2024 bride who worked with Ananya, and I have nothing but great things to say about Ananya and her team!! Our wedding was very large, with multiple events in three different cities (Delhi, Calcutta, Punjab) across India. My husband and I live in California, and were planning everything from here. Since we had so many cities, we hired a different wedding planner to manage the events in Punjab. The difference between them was night and day. Working with Ananya was seamless — she was clear about deadlines, followed up, had a timeline, provided excellent recommendations for makeup artists, proactively reached out to involved parties, and overall was just super efficient and professional. The other planner was a nightmare — refused calls, didn’t confirm artists/makeup for weeks, didn’t have any timelines. I thought it might be a cultural difference because I am an American, but Ananya was the complete opposite. I actually felt like I didn’t need to micromanage every step because she was capable, quick, and so easy to work with. I think one of her strengths is her ability to create unique and memorable designs — people still bring up the reception decor because it was so elegant and culturally significant! Her other strength is the ability to work well under pressure. There were definitely times during the wedding where I was stressing out about something and she handled it immediately with no fuss! Even during planning, I was so impressed that she went above and beyond the weekly check ins to touch base when I was running behind on my end! We had some guests staying in a different hotel who were going to be late to an event. Ananya’s team was so on top of it, they located the guests and helped organize transport for them to the event so they wouldn’t miss it! I’ve seen other brides who really struggled with the day to day minutiae during the events, having to spend their precious time during their own weddings to organize or supervise elements. Our events organized by Ananya were so well run, it was never a concern! She managed her own team, oversaw her design vision come to life, coordinated with countless external vendors (makeup artists, hair stylists, drapers, musicians, photographers, etc), and still found time to check in with us throughout the events. I really could not recommend Ananya more. She has the vision and connections you would need for an Indian wedding, combined with the professionalism that long distance planning requires!

We worked with Ananya and her team from ANDEVI to help plan and organize our multiple days-long wedding. My wife and I are both based in the United States, and therefore had to coordinate with Ananya over different time zones and through several different means of communication over several months. My parents were also intimately involved in the process as they are based out of Delhi. Our wedding was a 5 days long event, with several events across both Delhi and Kolkata. This included a musical evening (baithak and fusion band), a Vedic ceremony in traditional South Indian style, two large-scale wedding receptions as well as an intimate family affair at home (bou bhaat). Overall, each of these events turned out to be roaring successes. Ananya and her team’s attention to detail, calm demeanor with guests, problem solving attitude and relentless hard work were integral to this outcome. Her creative choices in designing the events were noted by several of our guests, many of whom mentioned the nuanced, thoughtful, and beautiful design choices. From a logistical and practical event planning standpoint as well, Ananya’s team left no stone unturned. I was initially unsure how easy it would be to plan a complex multi-day and multi-city wedding in India while living in the US for most of the year, and having to coordinate additionally with my parents and my wife’s family in India. However, Ananya exceeded our expectations in making sure that the planning went along smoothly and in a timely manner, while remaining conscious and sensitive to our specific needs and vision for the event. I would highly recommend the ANDEVI team to anyone thinking of planning their wedding, whether you reside in India or abroad.

The woman behind Andevi Weddings - Ananya Berry is as bit hardworking as she is crazy (just like me). Her attention to detail, her efforts to fulfill the minutes of those wishes I had and putting the entire concept together. I am not an easy one to work with, but she had pledged to make this as much her project as mine, from building those mudwalls to creating paper birds to working through nights to create that magnificient Palki Sahib (Tomb) from the scratch, I have just one word – Incredible.

We had our wedding in November. It was incredible. Its a one stop for skillful, professionalism creativity. Ananya is not only skilled in her work but also adds a personal touch. She understands what Is needed by the family, bride and groom. It was an incredible experience.

My fiancé and I are based in New York and got engaged in June 2020 planning a Nov ’22 wedding. We started the planning process immediately and hired Ananya as our Wedding decorator before we even booked a venue. We loved her and were so excited to work with her, she was extremely responsive and helpful and even convinced us that she was the best person to plan our entire wedding, so we hired her and her “team” to execute our destination wedding at Suryagarh. As soon as we paid her ($4600 to be exact) she provided ZERO. In order to get us to sign, she made promises that ultimately proved to be a complete fallacy. My fiance and I kept trying to reach out to move the process with her along, but all she would do was provide lipservice and “advice” - instead of taking any actual ownership and execution like a true planner. She treated this as a hobby, and her inexperience was wasting endless time and energy for me and my Fiance. An entire year went by with no progress on her end; we booked our venue, photographers, videographers, makeup and hair artists, and other entertainment vendors all independently without her involvement. We had to push her to go on a site recce to finally start her end of the planning process. It then took her 2+ months to deliver and present concepts on 2 events (1 being the Welcome Dinner which required minimal effort). Her unprofessionalism is what is truly outrageous and reaches no bounds. When we expressed our unhappiness with lack of progress on the planning (multiple times), Ananya did nothing but provide excuses and pushback. On one of our final phone calls, we were clear and direct on what we needed her help with, Ananya rudely snapped back, we hung up the phone, and Ananya proceeded to block me on WhatsApp (after being the key contact with her for over a year). She then called my fiance, saying that she could not continue working like this, and she said would provide a refund. In just a few weeks, of course her tune changes and she reaches back out to my fiance as if nothing happened, as if she still plans to be a part of our wedding. He communicated that there was no way this would work, and that she had already agreed to that, and she then pushed back and demanded we pay her a balance for her ‘time and effort’ - DESPITE DELIVERING ZERO !!!! She was the one that broke the contract and has never accepted responsibility on her inability to deliver a single thing. The immaturity and lack of integrity is astonishing. We’re working with another planner now and within 2 weeks, him and his team have completed a site recce and provided concept for all 6 events within our design requirements and budget. It has been a true breath of fresh air working with actual professionals that understand your vision and save you from all of the ‘work.’ TL;DR: STAY AWAY. She is an absolute con artist, and has no experience planning proper weddings. If you’re an NRI bride, please PLEASE find someone else not only with integrity, but who has also worked with overseas couples. She will look at you like a money bank and rob you blind.

We had our wedding on 16th Nov 2021. We had all wedding ceremonies — mehendi, haldi and main wedding event. We had a great experience with Andevi. Ananya was so helpful and professional at the same time. She has a great sense of imagination to make everything look so beautiful but at the same time she also takes into consideration things like value for money. Everything was on time and was well coordinated. One thing I felt about Ananya is , she puts her mind as well as her heart to work which really makes it better. I would really want to thank Andevi and especially Ananya for making our day special.

I came across Andevi at a point when we were almost hopeless - looking for someone who would understand our expectations and appreciate our budget to do it. To chance upon Ananya’s work through Wed Me Good and have our ideas sync with hers - at our very first conversation - was such a happy coincidence. Andevi’s approach to managing their clients is perfect - they are always listening and when they are not - there is a good enough reason. The bottomline is - Ananya is an expert you can trust. She is good at customer service and almost handles most logistical hurdles on her own and has amazing clarity of thought when it comes to her work. Finally, the best part is that the end result on the final day will be exactly how you were told it would be or even better.

Amid the understandably difficult circumstances of a covid wedding, Andevi's vision for our special day proved to be one of our biggest saving graces. We had personally not imagined what Andevi's Ananya Berry envisaged and implemented to perfection. She kept her word on every count, every detail, and every look/design. Even in the run up to the event, Andevi adapted to some last-minute changes to our wedding plans and still delivered everything a bride can wish for on her special day. Ananya runs a business with perhaps the perfect mix of professionalism and empathy.
