Dubai based designer Aanchal Jaggi, established her brand Aakarshan by AJ in 2012 catering to the haute monde of the Indian diaspora in Dubai. Her niche being a modern take on traditional ethnic wear. Her participation in various exhibitions & shows both in Dubai and India has earned her the recognition and acclaim the brand currently enjoys. Aakarshan has showcased at the Bangalore Fashion Week 2016 & has opened its doors in Bollywood after designing exclusive outfits for Bollywood celebrity Zareen Khan. With a BA in Fashion Design and Pattern Drafting from the renowned French Fashion University (ESMOD), she graduated with an award winning RTW collection. Starting off with a vision of introducing a contemporary twist to traditional ethnic designs, Aanchal Jaggi established Aakarshan by AJ. Paying tribute to Indian aesthetics, Aakarshan carries elements of westernized elements that shows in the silhouettes.
