Choosing a wedding makeup artist was honestly one of the scariest decisions for me. I’m someone who has zero idea about makeup, and I was so nervous about finding someone who wouldn’t intimidate me but would truly understand my taste and make me feel like myself. That is when I came across Ami di. I had booked her for my ring and wedding ceremony makeup looks. She made me feel so calm and comfortable throughout the process and cared to listen to my novice inputs. During all the wedding chaos — especially on my wedding day when I was completely overwhelmed and started bawling from stress, she was almost done with my base but she again patiently did my base twice without a single complaint and kept reassuring me throughout. That kind of support is something I’ll never forget. I had fully surrendered to her when it came to my makeup look, dupatta draping, and overall styling — and she absolutely nailed it. She delivered exactly what I wanted (even when I didn’t know how to explain it). The makeup was flawless, elegant, and most importantly, it felt like me. What truly amazed me was how long-lasting it was. It stayed perfect through all my functions — no constant touch-ups, no stress. I’m eternally grateful.
