I had come across KnotsByAMP during a close friend’s wedding a few years ago and the quality of their work created the recall when I was looking for a photography team for my wedding. We took about a month to decide on the team and the commercials, and the team was very responsive and professional during this period. As the group has grown, they have hired people for different support functions who proactively and timely reach out for various topics (like contract signing, team finalization, travel, post shoot engagement, album finalization, etc). I requested for Soumi to be the lead photographer for the wedding as I had seen her work in the past. She connected with me a few weeks prior to the wedding to understand the nature, timing and location of the functions and also suggested some enhancements to the décor to improve the photos. As I live in a large joint family, I had introduced all key family members to Soumi and she took care that in addition to covering us, they also cover each of the family members. The team of photographers, cinematographer and the assistants knew what their role was and performed it quite well. The 2 days of the wedding were quite hectic, but the team was on their toes and available at each function location well before the start of the function. Post the wedding, the team has delivered all agreed deliverables (2 cinematic films, photos, and albums) within the agreed timelines. Prem has done an exceptional job on the editing of the cinematic films and Nicole on coordination for the wedding album design. The only area where I feel the team could improve on is in slightly editing the pictures to enhance the focus on the subjects in candid photos and in portrait photos make some pictures frameable. My overall review of the team is that they are skilled, polite, and accommodative to personal requests. A big “Thank You!” to the entire team of KnotsbyAMP for leaving us with great memories of our wedding! If you’re still looking for some photographers, I highly recommend KnotsbyAMP for their candid wedding photography and cinematography.

Soumi of KnotsbyAMP is a true pleasure to work with. We have been talking since January 2020 about a wedding initially planned for December 2020. However, through multiple date changes and restrictions, Soumi was always patient, kind, and understanding. The Knots team eventually shot my church wedding in April 2021 (since we canceled our reception due to the restrictions), and they were such a delight to work with despite the hurdles (church restrictions, we were all being rushed). They made us feel comfortable (we are both camera shy), and the end result is stunning. That day was certainly filled with anxieties, but looking back at the photos we remember how wonderful it was having our closest family around us. We chose knotsbyamp as our wedding photographers and could not be happier. They we so professional in their ways and ensured that they covered all the important moments of both our weddings. We hosted a Hindu wedding at a temple and a catholic style reception. One thing I liked the most about them was, how calm they were (as if literally you will not even know they are there). This really helps because your wedding day can be very stressful. Unlike other photographers who sometimes stress you out for a perfect shot, knotsbyamp’s style is to capture real moment to create something extremely beautiful. I was amazed when I saw the results. It was beyond our expectations. The pictures were flawless and the movie was perfect. I cry each time I watch it. It took me only 30 minutes to explain my expectations of the wedding and that is it. They made everything happen just so smoothly. Anupam is very patient and gives you creative ideas for posing. Soumi is particular is very responsive and accommodative, she is extremely humble and very easy to talk to, I felt like I was talking to a friend. Once the wedding is over, everyone is excited to see the pictures and knotsbyamp is very quick in delivering the pictures and the movie. Within 6 months of my wedding, I had everything. This is a huge benefit, as I know few of my friends who still have not received their pictures even after 2 years of the wedding. Overall, they are a great team to work with and are very quick and professional.

When I searched the internet to shortlist, KnotsbyAMP was one of the obvious choice, but the real question was - will they live up to the ratings? SPOILER ALERT: They absolutely smashed it out of the park!! We were working with Soumi who is one of the lead photographers in the team. Soumi was very friendly and cordial to talk to. She spent about 30 minutes asking the specifics about the wedding and how we wanted to do it. One of the important questions was - whether we were planning for an outdoor wedding. This was an extremely important question, here's why- As a south indian, I have only been to indoor weddings. My response was indoor obviously :) She then took us through the possibility of doing the wedding outdoors. At first, we were concerned- but she and her team gently explained to us exactly what the value of doing outdoor weddings are. We took a couple of weeks, and we decided to do the wedding outdoors. Until the wedding day, Soumi and her team were constantly in touch with us about the decoration choices, clothing choices etc. I would have never guessed that photographers cared about anything other their gear, but the expertise they brought with everything else was extremely valuable. They provided us great ideas on what colors to go for! When it came to the actual wedding and reception, they are the best candid wedding photographers. They are very easy to work with, are extremely friendly, and brought out the best smiles in us. Even when the wedding or the reception got too tedious, they always empathized with us and made us smile. I honestly couldn't believe the kind of ideas they get when they see a venue. They're truly creative in their approach. Even when we were just casually waiting, I had some truly fascinating conversations. They started to become our friends in the 3 days we spent together. There was even a point in time when they got to a location 1 hour earlier to us because I miscommunicated the timing. I expected them to be frustrated. They were so well adjusting and more than happy to shoot us at our convenience. All in all, the photos were stunning, blew our expectations, and more importantly- our family and relatives were so happy to see the kinda moments that were captured! One of the key factors that made a massive difference to the quality was the fact that wedding took place outdoors. They were amazing to work with from start to finish! My recommendation to prospective clients: 1) If it's a daytime wedding, try to keep it outside. The photos will be of radically high quality 2) Talk to them about the colors you are going with for decorations and lighting! Unless you have studied photography, you probably have no idea how they'll look in a photo 3) Lastly, I believe in hiring experts like KnotsbyAMP because they are the experts. If you're going to hire them and not seriously consider their thoughts, it's on you :)

So, I used to follow KnotsbyAMP on Instagram since many years now. Had saved some of their wedding videos as inspirations too. So, when I decided to get married, they were the first people I contacted. And they managed to cover our entire wedding so beautifully, making sure all the emotions and moments were covered. Overall very disappointing experience! If we could go back in time, we would not have them cover our wedding. Our biggest pain points were: 1. **Poor coverage**: the team simply didn't capture a large majority of the people who attended the main event. More than 80% people have ZERO photos, and a few immediate family members (like grandparents) have at best 1 to 2 photos. Those missed moments are not coming back. 2. They **do not consult anyone during the video making process**. We would have liked if we had a say in *our* wedding video, especially at the higher level: what is the message of the video, what is the backdrop, what parts of our story are covered, etc? They make a video first, and only then take suggestions. At that point, you can only suggest very superficial edits as everything already rests so heavily upon their choices, which you were never a part of. Worse, they are not very receptive to feedback and have this air of "everything already looks so brilliant, fits so well". 3. On multiple occasions, we found the basic civic sense of the team to be severely lacking. For instance, they uploaded our wedding video on our college group (some team members of KnotsbyAMP went to the same college as us, which is how we learned about them), for which i) they never asked us about it; ii) they uploaded the video before it was ready; and iii) at that point of time, the video conveyed a message that we weren't satisfied with. More importantly, we wanted to share the video with our family and close friends ourselves, but instead they simply *released* the video and posted everywhere, leaving us in a difficult position. 4. They are expensive for the kind of service they provide (It cost us about 4+ lakhs to have them cover our wedding, everything included). We had agreed to pay for to-and-fro travel but instead of booking return flights, they booked individual flights costing us about 1.5 times as much on travel. We appreciate their punctuality (they were never late, unlike most other vendors), and in general, the quality of their work is excellent. - Mansi & Danish

The photo's were so beautifully captured and not only us but our entire family was in awe of them. Best Candid Wedding Photography In India! When it comes to wedding photography, it’s very overwhelming to make a decision because of so many options. We (me & my wife) had gone through a ton of portfolios online and shortlisted KnotsbyAMP because of their amazing work and award-winning photos. The decision became a no-brainer when we met them for the first time – it felt like we were meeting old friends from college! We wanted to book them for our own couple shoot during the chaos of my sister’s wedding. This being the last big occasion in our family for the next decade or so, we thought of treating ourselves with a photoshoot to remember this beautiful time and to create some memories of our own. This premise for the photoshoot was difficult to explain as it was not our wedding but both Anupam and Pratik made us feel very comfortable and talked about everything we wanted in our photos in detail starting with couple portraits, to family shots and so on. We talked for hours not just about the photos or poses but the wedding in general, also about travel, our hobbies and so much more. It was so much fun interacting with them that we almost forgot the stress of the wedding to come. On both the days of the shoot, the team was on time and very professional. They were very patient with not just us but the entire crew of makeup and family members and the general chaos of the wedding. They captured beautiful shots!! All of the pictures were amazing and the quality of their work is unparalleled. Some of the candid shots they took were so beautiful and surprising because we don’t even remember some of the moments. When we approached them, we were a little concerned about how it would pan out for us because we had seen their profile and we knew that their clientele is usually more extravagant in the way they express their weddings. We, however, just wanted a simple wedding but we wanted to ensure the memories are irreplaceable and perfect. And that's exactly what they gave us. We had the team cover just a day of our wedding and they turned out a beautiful movie that captured the best memories and made us laugh through and through. Anupam's ability to lead a team that finds the right mixes and timing for the videos is so unique that it made us feel like the leads of a cinematic film with immense grace and panache. The pictures are as beautiful as could be, although I did wish we had more (nothing is enough 😝). We enlisted the help and services of KnotsbyAMP for the wedding of my brother-in-law Jatin and his (now) wife Levina which happened this January at the Renaissance, Mumbai. Before, I move on to the specifics of our review, I would like to summarise by saying that with KnotsbyAMP what one can expect is amazing, elegant, detailed, high on technique, creative and artsy photography; the most vibrant and fun-filled videography and the opportunity to work with a highly dedicated, passionate, professional and trustworthy group of good human beings. I’ll rate them as follows under the following categories out of a maximum rating of 5: Candid Photography : 5 / 5 Portrait Photography : 5 / 5 Location Photography : 5 / 5 Wedding Videography : 5 / 5 Video Editing and Composition : 5 / 5 Ease of doing business : 5 / 5 Professionalism on deliverables : 5 / 5 I will break up my experiences with KnotsbyAMP as follows: (i) Pre-wedding: My wife Shubhi did quite a bit of research on sites like Wedmegood and Canvera and shortlisted a few profiles that matched our requirements and budget. I was given the task of finalising the best photography/videography team for the wedding and KnotsbyAMP was my first and only choice. What I liked about their pictures was the way they were detailed, they conveyed a story, had technique and flair and the pictures emitted a lot of vibrancy and positivity. I was as well very impressed with their wedding films which were so much fun to watch, crisp, containing incredible cinematography, the most fun music, and some very neat editing. All in all, they represented a one-stop destination for all our requirements. When we sought from them the quotations, they provided us with a neat package that was within our budget. The conversations regarding the pricing were transparent and all in all, we were internally confident about our choice. Once the advance was paid and the contract signed we could not wait for the actual event to happen. As promised, they contacted us a few days before the wedding to sync up with us on the timings and to understand the taste and expectations of the bride and groom. (ii) Mehendi and the Wedding: We were pleasantly surprised to see the team an hour ahead of the schedule scouting the venue and setting up the equipment. Seeing them work from then onwards was a pleasure. Everything was well orchestrated, the candid photographers, the cinematographers and the support team all working in a coordinated manner documenting our event. On the Mehendi day, they were supposed to shoot for 3-4 hours only. However, they were with us until the very end ~10:30 pm making sure the video interviews, couple shoot was all completed to theirs and our satisfaction. On the wedding day, once again they were there bright and early, everyone well synced and energetic. Their body language and pleasant friendly demeanour inspired a lot of confidence in us and at the close of day, we were very happy with our choice and could not wait to see the pictures and video. (iii) Post Wedding: True to their word, they provided us with the first set of pics in 15 days time and followed up by delivering the entire set of photos and the wedding teaser (most fun wedding teaser ever) in 35 days time. We have since then shared the photographs and the wedding teaser with our family and friends, and have been receiving overwhelming feedback and outpouring love for the pictures and video shot at the wedding. The work done as expected has the signature style and flair of KnotsbyAMP imprinted all over them. (iv) Quality of work delivered: The pictures shared with us are beautifully captured and they brilliantly document the happiness and joy being experienced by the couple on their special day. We love the clean elegant frames, the clever angles, the interplay between lights and shadows, the switches between blur and sharpness, and the amazing colour balance and tone of the photographs -- all of which is really owing to their masterful application of technique and talent. It is as well very refreshing to see some interesting, intelligent and visually engaging concepts in the work shared with us. On a more personal note, what makes their work standout is their understanding of the people they are shooting. What impressed me the most is how balanced their work is. It is incredibly difficult to shoot weddings where so many things are happening parallelly. To capture all the fun, the drama, the emotions, one has to be well synced with their team, one needs to have a high level of awareness and be a master of timing, as the real difference between a good photograph and great one is timing, angle and the right frame. With the KnotsbyAMP team led by Anupam Maurya, you will get all of this and much more. More specific to our wedding, team KnotsbyAMP have masterfully framed all the beauty of the bride and groom and all of our family and friends so perfectly retaining all the essence of reality and making it possible for us relive and cherish all the precious moments from our family event -- as many times as we want now. Overall I couldn’t be any more happier and content with the photos and the teaser video and our family is waiting with eager anticipation for the wedding film. On a concluding note, I must mention that along the way while we prepared for the wedding, we have had the good fortune of meeting some amazing people who have made sure that everything associated with the wedding happened perfectly. Myself and my wife were on a tight budget as we were taking care of all wedding arrangements by ourselves. We searched a lot and talked to many photographers across India. There were 2 types of photographers I met in this process. They were either expensive or their work was mediocre. KNOTS BY AMP was the only team that I found that had a perfect balance of amazing photography and price. We had been deciding to capture our family for a while (also, a golden retriever Dexter had joined our family around 8 months back), so it would have been the apt time for a fun family photo-shoot. While Anupam and Soumi (Knotsbyamp) have been our friends for a while, we had to reach out to them because of the crazy reviews we had received from a couple of our friends (one of our close friends had done her pre-wedding shoot from Knotsbyamp; she coundn’t stop raving it and when we saw her photos, we definitely knew that Knotsbyamp is completely there amongst the top when it comes to capturing photos) Think it becomes very important that the person who is taking your photos has a genuinely friendly disposition,good amount of energy and patience and above all, an ultimate sense of fun ! Knotsbyamp completely fitted the bill. While one may argue that it would requires a lot of patience to cover a wedding, product shoot etc, you have to understand that nothing would compare to the amount of patience required for capturing a young puppy along-with family ! Plus the photos we captured were during the end of evening dusk; so it could be difficult to manage the lighting (even with artificial light equipment’s). And lastly it was very important that all our photos are captured in a fun moment (it can be very easy to say that you guys have fun while we capture the photos in a candid manner). But to actually make the photos look fun and beautiful is a special art. Considering all the above, the photos just came out AMAZING. I mean it was not a wedding, nobody was wearing fancy clothes, makeup etc. We just strolled to a nearby garden and started clicking. Being an avid photography enthusiast myself, I wanted an amazing, creative candid photographer for my wedding. AMP exceeded our expectations in every way. Our two states wedding was in South Karnataka - Anupam, Prasad and Vihang came over from Mumbai and did an amazing job. They covered Sangeet at night, 6am wedding the next day and a couple photoshoot the following day in our farm house. The pictures speak for themselves - we have found it hard to choose which ones we love more. The shoot they did at the farmhouse was captured with such creativity that we cannot stop looking at them even now. The personal touch, patience during sangeet and the wedding, accommodating the many requests from our family and friends just put us at ease. Not only are the pictures beautiful, but what is still in our memory is the fun we had during the shoot. I think that just puts them apart from the other photographers. A picture is worth a thousand words. And with someone like Anupam it's poetry all the way! Anupam's photos have a life of their own. He has a knack of getting the moments just right and sometimes better than they are in real life! I crossed my photo budget to get Anupam to cover my wedding and it's one of the best decisions I've made. His team is very professional and punctual. Some of his ideas are a bit eccentric (like lying down on a sandy not-so-clean Mumbai beach) but the photos made it completely worth it. Not every wedding photo was exciting, but there are many that are total gems. The pre-wedding photoshoot was out-of-this-world amazing! Overall, highly recommended for everyone.

Highly professional, extremely skilled and very reliable. They were always there; stayed late after hours (as weddings always run behind schedule); co-operated with all our guests (imagine receiving complements about your photographer when being wished by your guests at the wedding!). The team worked around our schedule for the interviews; they also delivered some photographs on request much earlier than their schedule; and helped investigate by using videos to locate some missing items as well. The icing on the cake was the 1-2 minute teaser they created in 1-day between our functions to surprise us at the reception. A phenomenal cinematographic gist of the wedding. We decided pictures are something you don't want to compromise on, as they are the one memory that stays with you lifelong. We found AMP through WedMeGood and Instagram and really liked their work. We contacted them few months before our event and luckily they were available! Since we are based in US, most of the communication was handled by my in-laws in Mumbai and Anupam and Sunny always made them feel comfortable and promptly answered any questions regarding covering the event. Our wedding was in Ahmedabad and we had our reception in Mumbai, so we needed someone only for a few hours to cover the reception. The team arrived on time and was able to cover the whole event flawlessly without missing any big moments. They even captured all the minute aspects of the night which can easily be forgotten given the busy nature of the event, ranging from pictures of us getting ready to capturing the attire and accessories , even finding time to do a quick photoshoot in a jam packed schedule. The photos and videos were delivered on time. The combination of candid shots along with traditional was great. Trust me when I say that there were A LOT of pictures! AMP was also accommodating with the delivery of the album and had it delivered to our doorstep within a short timeframe after selecting the pictures. It's a shame we didn't have more events in Mumbai so that we could spend more time with them! They are such a great team! We would definitely recommend AMP to everyone!

Ours was a destination wedding in Nainital. And my future husband hired the team after seeing their work and loved them so much that he made the team travel some 1700km all the way from Mumbai. They even missed their flights travelled by train/bus all night but were still somehow on time and did a wonderful job desipte surely being sleep deprived. Although I absolutely hate being clicked the guys were so great they made me feel comfortable in no time and in the end it turned out to be absolute fun.

Anupam and his team beautifully captured our wedding this May. I can speak for my entire family, when I say that the photography was absolutely outstanding. AMP's version of candid photography is true to the word - most of times we never realised that they were clicking. The definite highlight for us was when Anupam told us that he was going to try out a Black and While concept. Though we weren't quite sure what to expect (given the richness of an Indian wedding in all the colours around), the concept turned out to be brilliant. AMP team had covered our wedding in Nagpur in the month of April. Must say the photographs came really wonderful. There are some occasions in life which you really want should turn out perfect. Wedding is certainly one of them for many. Because it is so special, the preparations can get super hectic and you want people to take away as many worries as possible of your head. The biggest worry for me and my wife was that the pictures that capture the memories of the wedding to be perfect. That is where Anupam Maurya and his team came in. I contacted him exactly a week before my wedding for the first time. And from that point onwards to the time he gave me the pictures a few days after the wedding, I never had to worry about the pictures. I may be biased, but I would argue that Anupam Maurya is the best wedding photographer out there! My husband and I worked with Anupam Maurya for our engagement pictures, On our occasion, Anupam Maurya and his assistants went above and beyond our expectations. He is extremely talented and has an eye for seeing things that will make absolutely fantastic pictures. Anupam Maurya also has a wonderful personality and is able to make you feel completely calm and at ease. Our engagement pictures are absolutely phenomenal, we are so glad that we have such gorgeous pictures to remember the most important day of our lives. There is truly no price tag for the pictures that we have from Anupam Maurya he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is incredibly professional, timely, attentive, and accommodating. He understands how important a role he is playing and he takes it very seriously. It is also clear though that he truly loves what he does. There is no one that I would have rather had capturing our Engagement day! I would absolutely without hesitation recommend Anupam Maurya to any couple!!

Had attended a close friend's wedding where AMP was the photographer. So i was co-ordinating with the photography team. Loved the entire process of Omkar (part of AMP) meeting and interacting with the families and friends a day in advance to make everyone (and perhaps, himself) comfortable with the photoshoot on the days of the wedding functions. Great photos, superb editing! Kudos!

I contacted Anupam Maurya for getting my wedding photographs clicked and was pleasantly surprised how well they communicated. I knew I had made an excellent choice. Generally, photographers will ask you to pose too much and that takes away all the authenticity and fun from the photos. However, Omkar, our photographer was extremely patient and skilled and we never knew when he clicked all these amazing photographs. What I contacted AM for was photographs, and what I got in return were priceless memories. Highly recommended.

I was looking out for wedding photographers for my wedding when AMP approached me and I must say it was a very good choice to go ahead with. Anupam is an extremely passionate photographer willing to experiment with different ways. The wedding pics turned out to be really good. The only suggestion would be to keep the deliverables clear as we had some miscommunication on that part. Rest be assured of getting your wedding covered by best in the industry.

Anupam and his team are excellent photographers especially with candid shots. Anupam is very professional, accommodating and creative. He caters to your requirements with an eye to capture the best moments. Would highly recommend!

We shortlisted Anupam after meeting 5-6 different photographers and entrusted him with covering our wedding. Anupam did a fantastic job when we looked at the end result and we could not have asked for a better photographer. The quality of the photos as well as the album were top notch. Anupam surely knows his work. Though there was a small miscommunication in terms of covering the reception in a video, both my wife and I were so happy with the album and pics that we were not really bothered about it. The only sore point that probably still pinches us is that neither we nor Anupam's team realized that there wasnt a single family photograph that was clicked. To be fair, the onus lies equally on both - us and the photographer since the bride and groom can be overwhelmed with the activity around them on their special day. This is the only reason why we are giving 4 stars. Apart from this, I would strongly recommend Anupam to beautifully capture the special moments.

Apart from our wedding day being special....it was also quite a busy and hectic one. Hi Anupam !! The pictures you took are just amazing and wonderful capturing every essence aesthetically. Every pic displays the real emotions.Every pic says something about itself.The photo album and the videos are mesmerizing. You guys know the art of capturing and taking pics ensuring minute details and with your "Eagle Eyes" in your hands u are the masters. Its very rare to see photographers being enthusiastic and always on the run trying to capture the best magical moments. The best thing about you guys is that you jelled up with both the families pretty easily, really nice and warm hearted people. There are no trials in weddings! Hence CAUTION is the essence of planning a wedding. What can make it easier is a bunch of people who understand your needs expressed in a very short span of time. Knowing Anupam for a long time and his team for a while I would recommend them for the science and ideas they put behind clicking every picture. When I say science I mean it in the real sense! Lighting, colors, focus and other things that as a viewer we only appreciate as beauty, require a lot of efforts behind the scenes! I have seen them put those efforts to get the perfect click. AMP covered a wedding for my friend and what came out of it was an invitation to cover another friend's wedding. Their work speaks volumes for their caliber and I could vouch for their novelty and easy-going nature.

Usually Photographers are cranky, They ask u to bend, Laugh little less or more, Look here and there and hold here and there and what not. But here, it was different, it was not actually about Poses and Perfection, rather it was more about Natural and imperfectly perfect stuff. Very Real, candid and vibrant pictures. After doing a lot of research on the candid photographers based in Mumbai, we shortlisted AMP based on output and cost. We took a big plunge as we did not know anyone personally whose wedding they had covered.But not only their portfolio was interesting but they were extremely cooperative and patient. As our wedding venue was unknown to them, they made it a point to come and check it out before the wedding date and also gave suggestions on layout of the wedding hall. I would definitely recommend this amazing team of AMP to anyone who is looking for a young, dynamic team of talented photographers.
