She enhanced my features and gave me clean, timeless and beautiful make-up and hair, which I will always cherish through my wedding picture and videos. Scared of gaudy and loud bridal makeup, I was specifically looking for a MUA who would take my need for soft minimal makeup seriously. After much deliberation I booked Ariza for both my Muslim wedding and walima. I didn't get a chance to meet her before the wedding and met her for first time directly at the venue, so I was a bit apprehensive. First thing first I'd point out some cons (though barely any): I had found her on Instagram and she was a complete stranger for me. For booking her you'd need to make 50% advance which imo is a bit too high. So I had to take a leap of faith there. Secondly, I was a complete make-up noob and had booked her for airbrush makeup thinking airbrush makeup means application of the makeup with the airbrush gun. But instead she used Airbrush products with brush and sponge. At my wedding I was too hesitant to ask for clarification though she later clarified that airbrush gun doesn't give a good application during humidity. Also my reception venue was very far away from her place of residence, and at a point I felt I'd have to pay even more extra for conveyance even though earlier we had agreed upon the rates for venue visit in Lucknow. She however managed on her own. I'd like to point out that if rates for Lucknow are fixed then it shouldn't matter where in Lucknow it is or else it should be discussed beforehand. The venue confusion caused me nerves before the wedding. Coming to the Pros, firstly I'd say she has a very calming and sweet personality. She made sure that she instilled enough confidence in me. I liked that she listened when I told her what I wanted. Example I asked for minimal eyelashes and that is what she has brought. She didn't unnecessarily force anything upon me nor did she made me uneasy about anything. She was patient with every step of the process. Her calming way of working had a calming effect on me as well. She delivered the look which I wanted and I must say I loved my reception makeup the most, it was perfect. Almost everyone who met me that day had praises for the makeup. I even recommended her to my cousin. I'd love to book her for future endeavours. Brides looking to go for minimal makeup or who want to be heard must book her without any hesitation. She's also much more economical than other over - hyped MUAs in the city.
