Had a really bad experience. It was my sister's wedding. When I asked her to wash our hair before the hairdo since we had functions since morning and there could be too many chemicals that we could wash to don't give hair oily look, she said "excuse me, this is not a parlor, we don't wash hair". I did not like my eye makeup and overall look, when I asked deepika to lighten the glitter from the corner of my eye, she blamed me for choosing a bad lipstick (which had nothing to do with me eye) and ket me waiting to attend 4 other customers before coming back to me. When I stood there she asked me in a very frustrated tone to sit down and wait. In the hustle of the wedding when there are so many other things on mind, this felt soo bad and unwanted even though I was a customer. She made such a big fuss about my lipstick selection (which wasn't even something I was complaining about) that my sister couldn't tell her anything she wanted freely. My sister who was the bride, explicitly got ger dupatta designed with the golden frill, which somehow deepika did not like. She said so many times that she doesn't like it that finally my sister agreed not to take that on her head and hide the frills to put around lehenga. She made the whole experience so bad even after paying so much, just to be treated in an unwanted way. Also, the eyelashes did come off within a few hours. _------------------ Since there was no option to reply, glad to know that you consider eye lashes coming off as a problem. For rest of the stuff - thanks for proving my point that for you still customer isn't a priority,making your defensive stand is. Try to take criticism as an opportunity to improve rather than contradicting me with what the bride thinks. The bride doesn't think any different and I am sharing my own experience for both of us as I see it. More than the work honestly, my issue is with your unprofessional attitude. Like I said before too, the overall look came out to be fine in the end, but it's the process and the way you make your customers feel matters. Please don't make any other of your customer feel any less about themselves and their choices.

I had a poor experience with Deepika. She arrived late to the venue (She arrived at 5:23 pm when I had told her I needed to get ready by 7:00 pm) because she was attending an exhibition. Post that, she did very cakey make-up for me in the little time we had. I trusted her with my look and took her advice of colors of lipstick, eye make-up, etc. and ended up not looking like myself. My family and friends felt I looked better without makeup. Right from taking the booking, she didn't seem interested and I had to keep following-up with her. On the D-Day she had forgotten that I was wearing a saree and was arranging for an assistant to drape the saree while doing my make-up. This also wasted time in the process and further delayed me and caused a lot of last minute stress. -- Reducing the rating on this review further, as after trying to discuss the issue with her on the phone, she started finger pointing at not just me but also the groom saying he was late. The groom was firstly ready and waiting for me along with all my family, and secondly had nothing to do with her services. Highly unprofessional and disappointing.

She told me that she is pursuing her passion and that shows in the make up she did for me at my both engagement and wedding ceremonies.
