They say sequels usually aren't as good as the original, but Deepika is the exception. She continues to develop and raise her work as an event planner, and did a splendid job for my sister's wedding. The best wedding planner in Bangalore who certainly lived upto the name "best day ever"! My family and I were incredibly grateful and blessed to have Deepika shetty as our wedding planner for our mehendi, sangeet and wedding! We started working with Deepika few months prior to our wedding at The tamarind tree in Bangalore and she kept us on track with selecting vendors and other contingencies for the wedding. She was connecting with some of the best vendors and her relationship with them made the event so successful as they were willing to go beyond what was promised for her! Planning a wedding can be extremely daunting, and the concept of hiring a wedding planner was something we weren't entirely convinced about. But our first call with Deepika gave us that push we needed in hiring one. She was extremely clear and patient in explaining the process and was quick to follow-up with an email describing the same. After understanding our requirements and budget, she helped us shortlist the venues, photographers, makeup artist etc. Always being cognizant of our budget. She even helped identify mehendi artists and coordinate makeup trials. 20 days before the wedding when we decided to postpone it due to the pandemic, all we had to do was inform Deepika. She coordinated with all the vendors and rebooked them for the new dates. This just helped in reducing a little bit of the stress that comes with postponing a wedding. On the day of the wedding, we were both blown away by the decor and arrangements. Before that we had just seen couple of sketches and references which didn't quite do justice to the final decor. An already wonderful venue was enhanced with minimal and elegant decor, just like the way we wanted. Deepika was there at the venue throughout the entire ceremony and was quick to tend to any issue/need of ours. All the guests and our families were extremely impressed with the entire execution. We had an amazing wedding planning experience with Deepika! Given that I live in the United States and could travel to India for only two weeks to attend our wedding, Deepika and my wonderful in-laws planned our entire wedding without me having to lift a finger! In eight weeks time, they accomplished what generally would take at least several months. At every step, Deepika was organized, resourceful, calm and reassuring. She went the extra mile - to find a makeup artist with experience in light skin tones, to answer messages and phone calls quickly no matter the hour, to find a wonderful band to play at the Sangeet. She provided great decoration options for the Sangeet and wedding itself, and paid attention to every detail. The day before our outdoor wedding, rain forced to move the event inside - Deepika was able to pull off the transition seamlessly and made some last minute changes to ensure the decor was perfect. I spoke to Deepika first on March 2020 after coming across her page on Instagram ! Ever since my first conversation with her I knew I had made my decision . On account of the wedding being during a pandemic Deepika kept up with all the rule changes, date changes , location changes and what not. Deepika comes across as a warm, content person with loads of patience and a great designer, planner, and with super awesome organising skills. It would be unjustifiable if I say she was 'just' a wedding planner. She was my constant and go-to person even for the silliest things like "where can I purchase bindis?". She had a clear planning on how to progress with time keeping in mind the wedding date and choosing vendors accordingly. Be it the venue or even purchasing my wedding saree to arranging appointments with blouse designers she was present all the while. From the first meet to check the venue, till the day of the wedding, I could not have had a smoother experience. Deepika is such a gem of a person. The amount of patience she carries is impressive. She is a great listener. She took in inputs for the wedding decor from my mom also. She is very accommodative. She is quick to incorporate anything you ask for. Couldn't ask for a better person to work with. Coming to the decor, all the compliments we received from family and friends was not enough justice to the beautiful decor she pulled off. The mantapa was the highlight of the wedding. People could not stop appreciating the beauty of the mantapa. It was an absolute stunner. The photo booths were a hit at the reception. People lined up to take pictures. I also called her a night before for some flowers, and she being the sweetest person, went out of her way and made sure I got them. She congested the place into a beautiful set up. The wedding looked lovely thanks to her. I did not have any ideas in mind and let her do her thing the best, and she pulled off the decor better than I could have ever imagined. I reached put to Deepika for doing the decor for my mehendi and wedding just three weeks before my wedding. COVID disrupted our planning and everything was last minute. She was an absolute delight to work with and everything was seamless. She put together a dream mood board and delivered exactly the same. I must mention that although it wasn’t part of her mandate, Deepika rose to the occasion for my last minute emergency when the mehendi team I’d booked cancelled a day before and saved the day.

Our best day ever was made special by BestDayEver. Deepika is amazing at her work! Her design sketches were so intricate and detailed that you could see her visualisation etched out in paper. She was very cooperative with our last minute weather changes and kept up with design alternatives too. She meticulously planned everything right from choosing the apt designs to suit the vibe of the place , keeping it simple yet charming to choosing the best color theme that matched our clothing. The whole decor looked magical and dreamy . I loved our engagement decor colors . The aqua and pink background with the Lantern charm gave it a very pretty look and it went splendidly well with my saree. I was super happy with how the simple minimal decor gave such a grand vibrant feel to the event. Our reception look was done brilliantly to retain the natural look of the place and yet add a vintage look with the candle bars and chandeliers. The decor added a royal touch to our outfits and was a beautiful mix of flowers and lights that swayed us away. Our wedding decor was more on the traditional side but had a lovely mix of yellow and white with flowers hanging from above that really accentuated the mantap. All the small things that Deepika looked into such as the bells and banana leaves made a great effect on the entire ensemble . Even our garlands were well done to go with our outfits . I loved our lotus garland for the engagement. Our parents too had a nice simple garland which stood apart from the regular ones I have seen. Overall I dint have to stress a muscle about the decor for all the events. Deepika was there managing the entire flow of things for all the events and her team did a great job. We found Best Day Ever by pure luck. Deepika and her partner Dheeraj made for a very accommodating team from day 1 of our meeting. Since my husband and i were keen on going as sustainable as possible with the wedding, they were able to understand exactly what we wanted and came up with minimalistic design ideas that helped reduce wastage of fresh flowers and plastic/non-reuseable decor elements. The two of them stayed till the very end of all the wedding events and made sure everything sailed smoothly! The add ons like the dhol, the brass band, chenda melam were perfectly coordinated. We met Deepika at a time when she was going through some tragic personal events, and anyone in her place would have been justified for pulling out of the event altogether. I would recommend Deepika and her team as they understand their client's requirements, and they're honest in terms of what will work and what won't. We were very skeptical about using wedding planners just because of the meetings we'd had in the past--with their high prices and no value for money. We had made it very clear to Deepika that we wanted a classy look but didn't want to go overboard with the decor and that's what was delivered. Deepika does take time to discuss every minute detail with her client and is easy and approachable. Some points to improve on and we discussed this with her is for all her vendors to be taken through what's expected of them before the event. While we felt Deepika and her immediate team were very professional, we had a bad experience with one of her vendors. He was rude and didn't treat the guests with respect. However, Deepika is very professional and we're sure this was a one time issue.

My girlfriend and I came across 'Best Day Ever' trying to find an event designer who understands the concept of minimalism and eco-friendly solutions. Date of Wedding - 15th November 2018. Initial contact- 30th June 2018. We struck a chord with Deepika Shetty and Dheeraj Shetty right at the first meeting. They are young, energetic and fresh. They were the first and only one we contacted for our wedding. Both of them were very professional but friendly throughout the entire iterations of designing and actual execution. We were very particular about how we envisioned the theme, style, colour palette and decor for the two-day event. Deepika made sure she listened to every idea we put forward and gave plausible inputs and suggestions based on it. She made it beautiful and personal by using her family heirlooms when needed. They made sure we understood the monetary implications for every element and never said "NO". Apart from decor design, Deepika, provided us with options for photographers, caterers, wedding card designers, wedding attire designers and nadaswaram teams.
