I've known Pooja Gundesha on personal level for years. In her mind, art is the reflection of the viewer. When you tell her what you think about the piece of art, you're really telling her how some parts of you reacts to that. When you tell her what a photo reminds you of, or what it made you think, or how it amazed you, it breaks through the glass and pixels and shows her the viewer. To her, that's a high compliment. Sometimes I look at her work and say, " This....you lit this entirely with fireflies? How? How's that even possible? It's perfect!!" Or ," I wanted to hate this photo. I'm fat! This is the most I've ever weighed. But dammit, everything about this photo is perfect. The light, the composition are just right, and you just timed it perfectly. I look like a total badass. I sat at home just looking at this photo and all I wanted to do was to throw it away. But I really wanted to share it so much because it's such a cool shot. It took me days, but your work made me realise I have a body, and I'm using it in amazing ways, and that it's nothing to be ashamed of. In totality, Pooja Gundesha is an amazing person with an open-mind and pays keen attention to detail. She's way ahead of you! Live long and prosper!
