The Wedding Matinee

We met Himanshu and Shubhanshu because of seeing their work at a friends wedding. I think each couple has a different idea while hiring their photographer. To me, it mattered that the team doing this work doesn't stick out like a sore thumb with the on going festivities to get their shots. They had multiple small teams covering different parts of the wedding at simultaneous locations. We also got some great couple shots without having to pose for hours together at our wedding. I think the second thing that mattered to me was a great post wedding service. And its almost been 1.5 years since the wedding and we are still in touch to get some new stuff done and they are very happy helping us out. And finally, as for most Indian weddings with a single photographer there are too many people to keep happy- groom's parents, bride's parents, and then the bride (grooms are generally MIA :p). These guys managed to pull customized albums for 3 sets of very different requirements :) So if you want an experience of co-creation and really need tailored output- I highly recommend these people. Also just a tip - always consider taking photographer pov while figuring lighting and decoration at venues. In my case these guys were willing to spend time even before the wedding on this .

Wedding matinee was suggested to me through my relative. They had done their wedding photography and it melted my heart. There was no second thought about them. As a girl you always dream for the perfect wedding and for all the detail right. They covered my pre wedding and wedding followed by reception. Wedding matinee are very understanding and they clicked some amazing pictures with any background n no lighting as well. Only my perfect photographic angle was highlighted. It’s been a pleasure to know them . It’s a blessing to have a good photographer who can capture your important day.

We came upon The Wedding Matinee when our engagement photographer cancelled on us last minute. I am so grateful they cancelled, because I don’t think they could’ve captured our love for each other and the breathtaking views of Jaipur as beautifully as Himanshu did. He was so much fun to hangout with and he truly made us feel very comfortable, which enabled us to get very natural shots. We literally took photos from sunrise to sunset and our family and friends are still raving about how amazing they turned out. I highly recommend booking The Wedding Matinee, because you can really sense how passionate they are about their work and they will give you your money’s worth!

We met Himanshu and Shubhanshu because of all the amazing stuff we had heard about them from our friends. The reason we decided to go with them was the ease with which they understood our needs and the professional passion with which they brought them to life. They quickly read us as a couple and tabled options for our pre wedding shoot. Where most photographers in the wedding circles tend to lose the sense of the couple in the bigger brouhaha, these guys always kept our chemistry at the heart of the pictures and videos. We have developed a friendship with the team that we continue to cherish till date.

Deciding on our "wedding photographer" was prime to us and we couldn't be happier that we found " the wedding matinee". Himanshu and team are really friendly, extremely talented, always smiling and quite accommodating as well! They did a fabulous job during our 3 day wedding, being available throughout. They managed to capture the colors, warmth, expressions, rituals, smiles and most importantly, the madness, so beautifully. From being more than just photographers to becoming friends the very first day of our preweddding shoot; from guiding us carefully through each and every shot (given we were so awkward infront of the camera) to spending enough time to capture the perfect shot at each and every setting - choosing and chasing the Wedding Matinee team to cover our wedding was all worth it :) The Wedding Matinee team know how to create magic out of simple ordinary settings and manage to leave you awestruck by their work! The journey with them started with us being sure that we hired the right guys because of their friendly attitude, ample enthusiasm and ideas for interesting pictures and an eye for perfection. It soon followed by us being wow-ed by the very first lot of pictures that they shared soon after our prewedding shoot. They captured each and every person who were close to us in the wedding, created two beautiful albums which were more than coffee table photobooks but rather all the beautiful memories of the wedding captured in frames telling our story and bringing a smile on our faces everytime we flip the pages! They gave us straight-out-of-movie-poster dream shots (and gifted us a life size canvas of one of those shots, as a wedding gift as well <3).... The Wedding Matinee team covered my wedding last year and I must say they all r talented and know what are they doing, my wedding was one you can call small wedding where I couldn't make any adjustments according to the team's request related to decor, lightening or clothes! Plus I am a difficult person to communicate with or express anything still they managed to give me beautiful pictures which I just LOVE. They came a bit late for our pre-wedding shoot but themselves deducted the proportionate amount from the total package cost. They are definitely not cheaters.
