They were not only super patient with all our questions and requests during the planning process but also successfully did everything during across the days of the wedding. The one thing I honestly loved about how they functioned was they never said no to anything, nor did they push us to increase our budget. After spending 2 months researching for wedding planners, having uncountable calls and in person meetings, we finally went ahead with Charmed Event Station for our wedding in Goa. I was quite opposed to the idea of hiring a planner in Goa as I am based out of Delhi so wanted someone whom I could meet often. Coming to the wedding process, it started off with Sakshi making a very detailed checklist which covered all aspects of the wedding. I consider myself a very meticulous person but I too was shocked to see the number of things I missed out which gave me even more confidence of my selection of the wedding planner. To cut it short, Sakshi knows her work through and through. The level of detailing she offered from the start was just amazing. The next step was budgeting. We had a ball park figure in mind and all we did was give it to her after finalizing her and she drew out a detailed budget with ranges across all aspects of the wedding. She then sat down with us to explain how flexibly can this be adjusted across vendors. Then came the vendor selection. All vendors, whether we talk about the bigger ones like DJ, bartenders or the smaller ones like dhol waala, she gave options across the entire spectrum. The best thing which me and my partner and our families liked about her working style was that not once did she force us to select any specific vendor. She gave us all options with her recommendations and selecting the vendor was completely our decision. She negotiated with vendors and took it forward from there on. Now comes the event days. I imagined it to be at least a little chaotic but the way things were managed by her team, we were thoroughly impressed. Sakshi, I want to give my heartfelt thanks to you and your team for executing everything so perfectly. You didn't let us worry about anything even for a second throughout the course of these 6 months :)

We hired Charmed events for my sister’s wedding in Delhi in September. We started looking for wedding planners in June and interviewed around 9-10 planners before finalising Charmed. Right from the first pitch they did, my sister and rather the entire family was so certain that Sakshi is going to be the wedding planner. She has an eye for minute details. The spreadsheet she presented when we started the planning was so detailed, there were things in it which even we had no idea would be required. She negotiated all of our vendors, helped with the venue selection, caterer, the live band, Bartender and licenses and even with invites etc. The decor which was our main point of concern but even on that aspect, she delivered above and beyond our expectation. Working with & planning our wedding with the Charmed event station was such a magical congregation of moments like these. Here is a detailed summary of our experience with Charmed. The Challenge: We told our parents in March 2023 that we want to get married by the end of July 2023. As Flabbergasted as they were, we assured them that we had someone in mind who could definitely pull this off. Sakshi Kohli was the woman in mind ! Our first call was to her to explain that we want to get this Destination wedding done in the next 5 months with as little information as we could give her. Her voice was first congratulatory and then calm, that relaxed our nerves as people all around us were telling us that this is nearly impossible. Sakshi on the other hand alleviated our concerns and made us believe that this was possible. Venue Research & Reece: We had provided the Charmed team with 4 locations around Mumbai for a 2 day destination wedding. Karjat, Alibaug, Lonavala & Igatpuri were our locations in our brief. Within a fortnight, we had the quotes from 25 odd properties with 2 & 3 day options in terms of cost and deliverables. After we decided on the 10-12 options that we wanted to visit, Sakshi flew down to Mumbai to help us with the Reece. We visited 3 locations with 10-12 different resorts and we decided on a particular location in Karjat. The quote from that location was way over budget, but Sakshi was persistent that we can re negotiate it. She managed a reduction of 35% of the quoted prices for us. Even though the location didn’t end up being our destination, she truly managed the situation like a magician. After visiting all of these locations, our mind was still not convinced on any of them, Sakshi suggested a Beach facing resort in Daman called “Silver Waves Resort & Spa”. In our minds, we always wanted a beach wedding & we thought the stars had aligned perfectly here. We went to Daman, saw the resort & fell in love with the venue. Sakshi again put on her wedding planner hat and got us a brilliant deal that was right on the nail with our designated venue budget. Vendor Choices & Decision Making: From Venue Decor to Make up artist to Band wala, Sakshi and Shruti had various options for quotes on all of the above ranging from expensive to below budget, they first advised us to go with what we like & let them worry about keeping the budget in check. We got all the vendors that we loved at the cost that we had designated for them. Wherever we faced a challenge with any of our vendors, the Charmed team stepped up and solved all of them for us promptly. We never had to deal with the vendors directly at all. Cost Management: The Budget management deserved a chef’s kiss. We ended up saving 5-7% on the total designated budget for the wedding by the team's strong negotiation & planning. There were also recommendations from Sakshi on where we are making unnecessary expenses and where we could manage the cost better. Personalization: We had a lot of ideas when it came to giving our wedding a personal touch, Sakshi & the Charmed team worked very hard on the creative aspect of it and delivered on all of them. Our requests were - A Board depicting the 9 years of our relationships, Movie recommendations that we want to give to our guests. Requests for food not to be wasted, Cute boards that let the families mingle with each other. Charmed personally designed these boards and managed their execution beautifully. The boards became the highlight of our entrance to all of our functions. Invites & RSVP Coordination: We had 150 in house guests on Day 1 of the festivities & Day 2 we had ~500 walk in guests. The invites and RSVP collection activity for these guests was done well in advance. They received multiple messages and calls from the charmed team to greatly ameliorate the process of Invitation of guests and their management when they came into the venue. The D-Day: As the most important day of our lives arrived, we were only focused on us and the people around us because everything else was well taken care of by the charmed team. None of my family members or extended family had to get involved with any of the vendors as they were already taken care of by the charmed team. “India is Rainy in July, How are you going to have a wedding ?” - Because we have Sakshi, Our designated firefighter on call. The Venue Setup: All events looked absolutely stunning, we saw our recommendations and mood boards come to life with all 3 venues. From flower selection to personalization to aesthetics, all of it came to life splendidly. It looked like a Big Fat Indian Wedding without breaking the bank. Guest Management: In an unheard of efficiency, all our guests got their designated rooms without a single glitch. The coordination of the hospitality team with the Charmed team with the hotel staff was super helpful and everyone was very happy with the Dhol Tasha welcome with Dance and fun and frolic. For all the guests coming in, their bags were tagged with Personalised tags made by the charmed team. For everyone who was travelling by public transport on day 1 & day 2 already had drivers waiting for them at Stations before they even arrived. None of our guests had to wait for being picked up. All our guests along with their concerns and asks were taken care of directly by the Charmed team. Each room had a welcome hamper that had all the adequate snacking items for their needs. The checkouts were also managed as efficiently and the wash and change rooms were readily available for all guests at their requests who were travelling for a day to Daman on day 2. Bride & Groom Management: Special shout out to Shruti, Nishita & Henil. The charmed team had a designated person for both of us tending just to our needs, they really helped out with the smallest of our tasks and were always present for not only our needs but to calm our nerves, to help with our emotions and to keep us on time so that we can manage ourselves better. By the end of it Henil was like a friend to me & Nishita a friend to Jaai. Contingency Planning: It rained on our wedding day morning & our varmala was the only event planned outdoors, while we were disappointed, Sakshi and team had a perfect contingency planned for us. She planned a first look in the hotel lobby with all of our loved ones ringing tiny bells to cheer us on. It is perhaps one of the best moments of our wedding. We also had a varmala near our mandap with the mandap’s flowers and the background. It looked beautiful. It was all thanks to Sakshi and the team's wits that we got one beautiful moment out of the last minute jeopardy. The Food & Hospitality: The food menu was splendid & all of our guests went Gaga over it. Everyone enjoyed the assortment of various cuisines. While it rained, all of our older guests were accompanied by Umbrellas and given assistance wherever needed. About Sakshi Kohli : Sakshi managed all of this while down with fever and cold for the 2 days of the event, she soldiered on so that our day wouldn’t be compromised. Her team and their professionalism know no limits as we didn’t for a moment feel overwhelmed. She was our rock since day one & deserves all the praise she can get for helping us pull this off brilliantly. The entire charmed team has our deepest sense of gratitude for making our day as memorable as possible. For anyone who is in doubt whether you need a wedding planner or not, my suggestion would be to get one as soon as your wedding dates are finalised. I hired charmed event for my wedding which was in Raipur in December 2023. I hired them back in March 2023 and it was the best decision I took in terms of planning my wedding. They handled the entire planning with such ease and vigour that we didn't have to stress at any point. The team is very professional and systematic and keeps a check on everything. Be it the timelines for closing the vendors, keeping a track of payment schedules, crisis management, execution on event days, decor (I can go on and on). Right from the time of engagement up to the time all the guests had checked out from the hotel post wedding, she and her team were all hands on deck. The decoration, the ideas she had for the functions and the vendors she suggested were all spot on. We literally enjoyed all the functions as we knew she and her team are there to take care of everything and the functions just went spotlessly.
