We hired Chaitanya and his team for our wedding in Orchha, MP, opting for their full documentary package with 6 photographers and videographers. The overall quality of photos and videos was good — crisp visuals, cinematic storytelling, and mostly aligned with the references we had shared. I'd rate the creative quality 8/10. That said, there were a few key concerns that affected the overall experience: 1. They left before the bidai, citing a scheduled train — a major miss, given how emotionally significant that moment is. Weddings often run late, and teams should plan for such contingencies. 2. The face recognition barcode system didn’t work as promised. The gallery was incomplete, missing many photos, only available for a limited time, and suffered from frequent server issues. 3. We were not informed beforehand about how long the gallery would be accessible. Later, we were told to download everything quickly due to storage limits. This should be communicated upfront in the contract. 4. Most of the focus was on the bride and groom. Close family members were not directed or captured adequately, which is something a professional team should manage proactively. 5. They expected same-property accommodation and food without clearly communicating this in advance. While we wouldn’t have minded, this becomes a challenge in boutique properties with limited rooms. On pricing (~₹2.1L + stay), they’re slightly on the higher side considering their current scale and execution maturity — fair pricing would be 6/10. In all this we deducted 10K from final payment due to these issues, and decided to get the album printed ourselves, they are charging 15K for that, while "Printo" will make better in equivalent amount. We also did not get any complimentary large frame etc. which usually photographers do. Final verdict: Happy with the output, but clearer communication, better planning, and end-to-end execution (especially during critical moments) would have made it a much stronger experience.
