Decor Lab Events - Trivandrum

I chose Decor Lab events seeing a lot of positive reviews online and otherwise. However, my experience with them was extremely disappointing. I got in touch with their team for my wedding reception. Though they offered me a good blueprint within the budget that I had in mind, their execution was totally sub-par. The decor not only looked cheap, but was also functionally a nightmare. The team didn't execute few of our basic demands (which were included in the estimate) leaving me extremely disappointed with the work. Few decor elements were so tacky and cheap, and as luck (or in this case their lack of attention to detail) would have it, were displayed right in front ruining our photos as well. Please see below for details 1. Cheap elements -Broken chandelier right at the centre. The crystal hangings were missing at many places -Extremely dirty carpet on the isle. Probably the first thing I noticed as my parents walked me down the isle -Tables for flower arrangement that were not covered properly, making them appear so cheap and unkempt (can be seen in the photos) right at the middle of what was expected to be a classy flower decor. 2. Functional issues We had specifically requested the team for steps on both sides of the stage for entry and exit. I mean, that is basic common sense. The team kept them only on one side resulting in guests coming up colliding into those who were leaving 3. Poor professionalism When we spoke to the team post the event, they flatly refused to acknowledge their fault and instead kept saying "this is the first time we are doing an event in this budget. We gave you more flowers than what we would otherwise. " We kept telling them that they're totally missing the point and that a budget event doesn't mean they could do a shoddy job. Anyway, I hope the team can look into these issues and make amends in their future projects.

We are very happy that we got in contact with Chitra and her team who helped us plan the small intimate event with minimalistic decor. Very happy with the decor and how the event turned out. We thank you and your team for the great work.
