Choosing Estrela Event for our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we made. Our celebration at the stunning Alsisar Mahal was already set against a royal and historic backdrop, but Estrela elevated it into an unforgettable, flawlessly curated experience. From the thoughtfully designed themes and elegant décor to the impeccable lighting, floral arrangements, and seamless guest coordination, every detail reflected sophistication and precision. Despite the scale and complexity of a palace wedding, the execution was smooth, organized, and completely stress-free. A special mention to Saurabh Sodani, whose creative vision, calm leadership, and transparent communication brought our ideas to life even more beautifully than we had imagined. His dedication to perfection, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering premium results within budget truly set him apart. Sourabh and Estrela Events essentially scammed me out of my 2,06,500 rs deposit with them. I first contacted Estrela Events in December 2025 and officially hired Sourabh around December 30th; he sent over his terms & conditions, which ask for 50% of his fees as a deposit. The only thing I was uncomfortable with was that his policy asks for the other 50% of his fees one week after initial deposit, but after discussing with Sourabh he told me this was no issue and they were happy to collect the other 50% further down the line. I was fine with this and I sent them rs 2,06,500 (50% of his fees). I stressed that I wanted to finalize a venue by January 31st 2026, and he seemed on board to help make that happen. The next month was unproductive. Sourabh crossed venues off my list, telling me he spoke to them and they wouldn't work out. There was one venue in particular I liked & Sourabh told me they weren't interested in hosting our wedding. I was surprised by this and emailed them myself at the end of January, and to my surprise they were absolutely willing to be our venue and they were within budget. This is the first time I had doubts about Estrela, but I figured it was an honest mistake and kept going. Sourabh apologized and acknowledged it was his mistake- he said it was miscommunication. Communication during the next month was not as consistent as I wanted it to be. I had to ask for things multiple times and repeat myself frequently. Finally, at the very end of January, around January 30th or so, Sourabh came back to me with the final number from the venue that had everything I wanted. I was happy and agreed to proceed. I paid a token amount to the venue in order to receive the contract, and after reading it I realized it did not have everything I had asked for. I was unhappy that I agreed to a number that was not accurate and that Sourabh hadn't been organized enough to make sure my requests were all conveyed properly, and that the number had everything I wanted. Sourabh was busy with another wedding that weekend so ultimately the final contract (at a higher price) with all my requests was sent on February 8th. I was so stressed from the overall venue search, I agreed to just finalize it so this step could be done with. Unfortunately, I did not have much trust in Estrela anymore and I spoke to Sourabh about being unhappy with my experience. I pointed out the poor communication and disorganization. He acknowledged these and said he would do better. Unfortunately, I continued to be dissatisfied with his services and finally said I wanted to cancel our contract a week or two later. His cancellation policy clearly states "Up to 180 days before the event you will be entitled to 50% of the total paid" which I already thought was generous in his favour. However, these were the terms I agreed to, so I didn't push for a larger refund. Sourabh came back a few days later and told me he would not be refunding me anything. He said that typically he takes the entire 3.5 lakhs + 18% GST fees up front and that he meant for his cancelation policy to say there would be 50% refund of the total fees, not the deposit paid. This explicitly goes against what is written in his contract and I was shocked he was nonchalantly breaking his own terms. He kept trying to push me to stay with Estrela, saying he could lower his fees if I stuck with them, despite my refusing multiple times. I pointed out that his contract clearly says refund of 50% what has been paid, but he just flatly refused to give any refund and said he is keeping all of the 2,06,500 rs. Astronomical fees when all he has done is help with some venue negotiations. I would never have moved forward with them if their contract had said refund of 50% of total fees, and I accepted their terms based off what was written- 50% of what was paid. Ultimately I am left with the impression that Sourabh is shady, unethical, and disorganized. I am looking into what legal protection I have but I warn others not to make the same mistake I did. There are far more honest wedding planners out there.

A Disappointing Experience with Estrela Events and Mr. Sourabh Sodhani We had high hopes when we hired Estrela Events and Mr. Sourabh Sodhani to organize our wedding at Shahpura House, Jaipur. Sourabh is a gifted sweet talker. He has a knack for saying things that you want to hear but his whole appeal stops right there. Sourabh falls severely short when it comes to execution. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected, and we feel compelled to share our honest feedback to help others make informed decisions. From the outset, communication was a major issue. Sourabh is always in "sales mode," eager to say yes to every request or idea without proper follow-through or documentation. He creates such confusing narratives that you’ll always be confused on what was agreed and executed. This led to a lot of misunderstandings and unmet expectations. It felt like the focus was always on securing the next payment rather than ensuring our event's success. Sourabh and his team reached out to me the night before our Mehendi claiming that they can’t execute what we had discussed as they had not even done basic due diligence on the venue. Deliverables were often delayed or held hostage until additional payments were made, even for services that had already been agreed upon. This created unnecessary tension and mistrust, made the entire process stressful rather than enjoyable. Items promised at Rs. 15-20K were inflated to Rs. 40-50K without any intimations or approvals. The whole billing and communication process was very shady and distasteful. Key elements for our wedding were either mishandled or completely forgotten. Vendors were not properly coordinated, timelines were ignored. It was a series of disappointments and frustrations. Instead of owning up his mistakes and carelessness, he often deflected blame or created rifts between families. This added to the stress and left us feeling unsupported during a time when we needed a reliable partner. Our experience with Estrela Events and Mr. Sodhani was deeply disappointing. I would caution anyone considering their services. There are better options out there for those seeking a truly professional.

I cannot be happier while saying that choosing Estrela for planning our special day was one of the best decisions that we took. Sourabh Sodani and his entire team was always on foot for the two days and ensured that every small wish of ours is taken care of during our wedding functions (be it including our favourite elephants on table top arrangements or setting up a colorful phonebooth just for bride’s happiness). The team took responsibility of not just the decor part but were there for us everytime - As a makeup artist, choreographer, photographer…. even attended my calls :p Kudos to Estrela for going extra mile!

Working with Sourabh and team is one of the best decisions we have taken for our marriage. Earlier we were impressed with the designs and taste of Estrela team. But on our event days we were really impressed that they have executed everything perfectly. There are so much to share about Saurabh and his entire team. I even cannot express my feeling in few words here but i will try to explain like when no matter about event size and budget, Saurabh will always stand there to manage every little things so that you and your family can enjoy your function well. From day of engagement to complete wedding from decoration of haldi to mehandi to fullo ki holi to Sangeet. Every time decoration, management, service everything was perfect. Don’t be hesitate to comtact Saurabh if you looking for event planner. And one last thing be open for paying extra to the team as they adding so much value to your event which will be last ever.
