We genuinely regret hiring this photographer for my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding. It was one of the most important days of our family’s life, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. Even my brother — the groom — does not have properly captured photos. The angles were careless, expressions weren’t timed well, and key moments were either missed or poorly framed. If the groom himself doesn’t have strong wedding portraits, that already says a lot. As his sister and an immediate family member, I repeatedly informed them to cover me during important rituals and moments, yet I have almost no proper pictures from my own brother’s wedding. It is honestly heartbreaking. What was most frustrating was the lack of initiative. We had to call them multiple times during functions just to ask them to come and click pictures. That should never be the family’s responsibility. Yes, when you click hundreds of pictures, naturally a few will turn out decent. With editing, lighting tweaks, and filters, anything can be made to look aesthetic. But good editing cannot hide poor coverage, weak composition, and missed moments. The “polished” final images feel more like a carefully curated social media persona than true documentation of the wedding. A wedding cannot be redone. Memories cannot be reshot. Sadly, this experience left us with regret instead of cherished photographs. Would not recommend.

I hope this message gets to the people considering her, before this message has been Deleted. We hired this photographer for our pre-wedding and wedding functions based on the expectations set during our discussions. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing and did not meet what was communicated to us. Communication & Professionalism: Throughout the process, communication was inconsistent. There were extended gaps in responses to our queries, while payment-related messages were comparatively prompt. This created an imbalance that made coordination stressful during an already emotional time. Pre-Wedding Shoot Experience: The pre-wedding shoot began significantly later than scheduled. We had traveled early to reach the location on time, but the team arrived approximately two hours late. We had specifically requested non-generic, creative shots, and even shared reference images in advance. However, the final results felt basic and repetitive compared to what was discussed. A particular creative shot we had requested was attempted multiple times but did not meet expectations. When we received the edited pre-wedding photographs, the quality and creativity did not align with what had been presented in the portfolio or discussed with us beforehand. Wedding Day Coordination: During the wedding functions, including Mehendi and the main ceremony, there were noticeable coordination issues. The team arrived late for certain events. Coverage did not appear structured — responsibilities were not clearly divided among photographers, which led to missed candid opportunities and incomplete family coverage. As a result, we do not have photographs with certain close family members, including my grandmother and sibling. For a once-in-a-lifetime event, this was very disappointing for us personally. Team & Management: It appeared that several aspects of the service were outsourced. For album design and related coordination, we were required to communicate directly with third parties. There was limited proactive involvement from the photographer in managing these interactions, which added to our workload. Travel & Cost Concerns: Travel expenses were charged separately as per the agreement; however, there were instances where the charges felt unclear or repetitive for the same route. While we respected contractual terms and made payments accordingly, the process lacked transparency from our perspective. Delivery & Post-Production: Final wedding photos were delivered later than we had anticipated. Shortly after delivery, we were requested to finalize album selections within a short timeframe. Many images were repetitive, and we found limited variation in key moments, which made the overall collection feel less comprehensive than expected. We did not negotiate on pricing and trusted the commitments made at the time of booking. Our concerns reflect our personal experience and expectations versus what was delivered. Weddings are deeply emotional and irreplaceable events. We encourage future clients to have very detailed written agreements, clear timelines, and defined expectations before proceeding. This review is shared respectfully and based solely on our experience.

Absolute worst experience imaginable. They were lightning-fast to take full payment, but completely incompetent when it came to delivery. Endless delays, zero accountability, and the final wedding video was downright horrible. When we asked for basic B2B edits, they simply ghosted us—no replies, no calls answered. After we posted an honest review to fight for our rights, they resorted to intimidation—threatening to delete our hard drive and revoking our Google Drive access like bullies. We even tried going the legal route, but instead of owning their failure, they dragged our family members into forced “mediation.” And the audacity doesn’t end there—one year after our wedding, she casually posted our marriage photos on her Instagram as if nothing happened. Utterly unprofessional, unethical, and disgraceful. Avoid at all costs.

⭐️ Extremely Disappointing & Worst Experience Ever – Beware Before Booking! 💔 Heartbreaking Experience with Hand in Hands Films by Ashu Kalra I am writing this out of deep pain and disappointment after trusting Hand in Hands Films by Ashu Kalra for one of the most special occasions of our life. The experience was truly heartbreaking. The entire team turned out to be highly unprofessional, careless, and insensitive. They made tall promises before taking full advance payments — but once money was received, everything changed. Commitments were ignored, deadlines missed, and our emotions were treated as if they meant nothing. The owner lady herself was shockingly rude and completely lacked basic humanity and ethics. She behaves warmly at first, but it’s only a show — just window dressing. Behind that, there is no compassion, no professionalism, and no accountability. Her behavior hurt not just me but many in our family on such an emotional day. It felt like everything was only about money, not memories. No delivery as promised, no response when needed. If this continues, one day someone may take legal action against such unethical practices. I honestly pray to God to bless her with wisdom and humanity — because the way she treats people today, she truly doesn’t deserve the pain she causes to others. Please, if you are planning your wedding or any precious occasion, think twice before booking this team. You don’t get such days back again. *Extremely painful and disappointing experience. Not recommended.*

Disappointing Experience with Hand In Hand Films by Ashu Kalra - I ASSUME THIS WILL BE SOON DELETED BY THE TEAM! I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid Hand In Hand Films by Ashu Kalra at all costs. My husband and I hired them for our wedding in April 2024, and it was one of the worst decisions we made. The only decent work they delivered was our pre-wedding photos, which we suspect was only done to secure the full payment from us. After that, it was a disaster. Here are just a few of the many issues we faced: - Delays and poor communication: Ashu and his team were unresponsive, keeping us hanging for every step of the process. Whenever we questioned the delays, Ashu would say "good things take time," but the final outcome was nowhere near what we expected. - Subpar quality: Edited videos were poor, with random shots and no cohesive link. Photos were clichéd and lacked creativity. The quality was nowhere near what Ashu showcases on her social media. - Failed to deliver: Despite a clear contract, they missed key moments, such as: - Shots with families (e.g., bride with parents, brothers, etc.) - Unreliable: Repeatedly failed to meet deadlines and ignored our requests for raw photos and videos. - Misrepresentation: It seems Ashu hires different teams for social media content and actual deliverables. The team that delivers the final product is clearly not as skilled as the one creating content for her social media. We were very polite with the team throughout the process, but these guys have been testing our patience by not replying to our messages/calls, and leading us to finally post this! Working with Hand In Hand Films was a nightmare. They failed to capture the essence of our special day, and their unprofessionalism caused us undue stress. Do not trust this team with your memories. There are far better, more reliable photographers out there. We regret our decision and hope you won't make the same mistake. *Rating: 1/5* (and that's being generous) Would not recommend.

I would like to share my experience with Hand In Hand Films by Ashu Kalra, and I sincerely hope that this helps others avoid making the same mistake I did. Booking Ashu and her team for my wedding in April 2024 was the biggest regret of my life. From the very beginning, I had concerns, especially after reading multiple negative reviews online, which have since been deleted. I even discussed these concerns with her team before going ahead, trusting them when they reassured me that everything would be perfect on our special day. Sadly, that trust was misplaced, and I deeply regret booking them. Here are the key issues I faced with Hand In Hand Films: 1. Post-Delivery Work is Terrible The edited videos I received were far from what I had seen on her website or what she promised. The work on her site could very well have been done by another editor or even fabricated because the actual videos delivered were subpar, simply a haphazard collection of clips. It looked like something I could have put together myself using a mobile app, not the professional work we were expecting. 2. Extremely Difficult to Reach After the Event Once I made the final payment (90% of the total), Ashu and her team became nearly impossible to contact. My calls and messages were ignored, and the delays in deliverables began. It was incredibly frustrating, especially knowing that I had already paid most of the amount. After making the 90% payment, I couldn’t get in touch with Ashu no matter what I tried. Whether it was calling from different numbers or messaging, she ignored all attempts to reach her. This level of service is unacceptable for a professional wedding photographer, and it left me feeling abandoned during what should have been a happy and memorable time. 3. Excessive Delays in Deliverables Our edited videos, which we were supposed to get within the agreed timeline, took an absurd 6-8 months to deliver. Even after this long wait, the quality of the final product was nowhere near what we expected. 4. Fraudulent Contract Terms The contract clearly stated that the remaining 10% payment would be due after the delivery of the albums, but Ashu refused to give us the albums until we made the final payment. It's now December 2024, and we still haven’t received our albums. This is a clear violation of the terms outlined in the contract. Also, when we finalized the booking, Ashu assured us that her team would stay until the event was over, including the Vidai. However, they rushed off before the event concluded, which was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. 5. Inadequate Content and Missing Essential Shots The content Ashu and her team shot was disappointing. Basic and essential photos, like those with the bride, groom, and their families, were sorely missing. These are the kinds of moments that should have been captured but were not. Additionally, there were many clips which her team shot but they got misplaced somehow by her as we haven’t received them even though she is saying that she had transferred everything to us. 6. Lack of Creativity in Shots One of the main reasons we booked Ashu was for her creativity. Unfortunately, the creative shots we were expecting were practically non-existent. There was nothing unique about the work, and it felt like they just went through the motions without bringing any innovation to the table. 7. Poor Coverage of the Event Despite having multiple photographers and videographers at the wedding, a significant number of key moments were missed. It was as if the team was more focused on a single point, completely ignoring the rest of the event. This resulted in huge gaps in coverage that we now regret. 8. Unprofessional Team Behavior Ashu herself and her team member Vishal were professional, but unfortunately, the rest of the team was not. It seemed like they were always in a rush, which led to several awkward moments. At my baraat, one of the photographers even got into a confrontation with the dhol players, disrupting the entire event. There’s a way to handle such situations with grace, but the photographer’s behavior was unacceptable, and it created unnecessary tension on such an important day. To everyone considering booking Hand In Hand Films by Ashu Kalra, I would strongly advise against it. While their prices may seem attractive, the service you’ll get in return is far below expectations. I initially thought I was saving money by booking her for five events of my wedding for 1.5L, but in hindsight, I realize it wasn’t worth it. After the wedding, you’ll find yourself chasing them for months, getting ignored, and eventually questioning if saving money was worth all the hassle and disappointment. I truly regret not heeding the warnings in the reviews I had read before, but I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale to anyone considering them for their special day.

DO NOT EVER BOOK YOUR BIG D with HER (She will ruin your BIG D ) She's not professional at all. It's been three years, and I still haven't gotten what I paid for. She doesn't answer calls or messages. Those glowing 5-star reviews? They're fake. Trust me, don't make the same mistake I did.

She is a fraudster. She took 90 percent of the payment at the time of the wedding. Until then she was sweet. After that starts the whole drama. She took ages to provide complete raw data. Does not take calls or revert to messages. Took more than a year of running after her to get my final photos and the videos provided are still not final. At the end she created a lot of drama in giving the finally edited data of my photo album because she was asked to wait for the last 10 percent of the payment for 10 days. A person who'll make you run for over a year for your data cannot wait for ten days. After a lot of drama and anger from this woman, I finally pressured her to give the raw data, however, she outrightly refused to hand the the albums and the photo frames. And we had to get them made from another vendor. Collaborating with her was a total nightmare. She unreliable, unresponsive, arrogant and has zero accountability for her work.

DO NOT BOOK HER! Booking her for my big day was the worst decision. She doesn't do justice to the money she charges and is also very ignorant of any feedback. She promised to deliver 2 glossy photobooks and instead gave 1. The funniest part she uses Canvera for printing albums despite claiming to have a team of editors and printers. She will stop taking any phone calls or responding to messages once you have paid her. Overall super poor experience. Book any other competent photographer for your big day.
