Hi Peeps, I am writing this review not as a person who has experienced Hemakshi’s talent (I’am sure she is good)- but as a person who had an experience dealing with her at a personal level. I had booked her for my wedding a year prior to the actual wedding dates (December 2024). She was very cooperating with my questions and details until the sales pitch started where she pushed me for a 50% payment just to block her dates. She gave me a list of T&C which initially was ok. I wanted to take some time to think but damn! she was persistent. Me staying abroad and not that I am remarrying 😂 believed her and paid 60k. Unfortunately, my father passed away 12 days before the wedding so I went back to her and asked asked her that I won’t be proceeding as per our rituals we do not engage in any form of celebration until a year has passed. The drama starts then - as per her the money is non - refundable (which was not mentioned in the list of T&C). She also said something on the line that she has already given the money to her team who was supposed to come (don’t ask me why, I am still thinking) My point to write this review is not to question her skills, I am sure she is best at what she does but to enlighten the general public like me. 1. Please ask for invoices 2. Please understand the T&C, specifically Force Majeure 3. Keep things straight 4. Be realistic and prepare for the worst scenario and discuss everything before the payment Anyway, hope this review reaches to some and you can avoid unnecessary hassles.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Himakshi. She gave me the most beautiful, glowy look that felt both elegant and natural. What I truly appreciated was how she used just the right amount of makeup—nothing felt overdone or heavy, and it really enhanced my features instead of masking them. Beyond her skills, she was incredibly polite, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. She made me feel so comfortable and confident, which honestly made all the difference. It didn’t just feel like getting my makeup done—it felt like a truly enjoyable experience. I received so many compliments on my look, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. I was looking for someone to give the north Indian bridal look that I was going for with my red lehenga and royal bride look. Himakshi did my bridal makeup and it was everything I wanted to look like. It was classy, clean and accentuated my features in the best way possible. The makeup stayed on in the humid Guwahati weather and lasted for hours till morning. I would recommend Himakshi as MUA for your special day when the makeup is one thing you cannot afford to go wrong on. I had a great look and my pictures have come out really really well :)

HIMAKSHI BAGARIA STUDIO & ACADEMY is a place to be at! All in one. From Makeup to shoots, everything is on point. Her skills are something to vouch for. From heavy makeup to subtle ones I love it all. Very hygienic studio with good vibes and of course the way she teaches in her Master class is a mixture of fun, interactive and informative. Here’s a sample of the Mehendi look she did on me and a shoot I did at her studio at a very good price! Highly recommend everyone to give this a shot.
