Knotted Up

Both of us had a very clear idea on what we wanted and it was not a conventional wedding- we had re-written our wedding vows, we didn't perform Kanyadaan or Vidaai among other rituals. This meant working on the wedding logistics differently. Our favourite part was working with a team that was on the same page as us. And made sure everything was done seamlessly. We were not scared at all going into this cause our first meeting with Knotted Up went so well. We trusted them completely from the get go and I think that really helped the overall experience for us. I would defnitely recommend them, as I have to every one of our friends who got married after us. I only heard brides complain that they didn't get their dream wedding, that they had to compromise, that they were stressed out during the wedding and wish things went differently on their big day. For me, my wedding was exactly how I imagined it. I'm a rm believer in time machines now- as I will go back and relieve every day of our wedding celebration WITHOUT making a single change to things, if I could. Knotted Up played big part in making this happen.

Among many other things we really enjoyed Knotted Up’s enthusiasm and creativity. We felt like Knotted Up was very invested in our event and cared about the outcome. Our biggest fear was working with a team in Goa while we are based in London. However Knotted Up has good communication systems in place, so we never felt like we were out of the loop or out of control of our event. Knotted Up have a realare for styling beautiful events. Our weddinglooked absolutely beautiful and perfectly reected our vision. If you care about design and decor, you’ll be in very safe hands with Knotted Up!

We can’t name just one! Your exibility, creativity, attention to detail, organisation, patience & friendly manner. These are a few of the many things we loved! It makes the experience of planning a wedding exhilarating. Would it take the pressure o AND Would our sense of elegance and design match with the teams? After taking the time to know us and understand what we preferred, we could trust Liesel completely, to a point where we would simply tell her what we’d like and she’d give us options which were all too beautiful to pick just one from. Denitely took the pressure off. Don’t think twice, go with em! Keep doing what you do. You make memories all the more memorable! .

It honestly felt like we were working with close friends rather than a wedding planner. The comfort level, the ability to change things on the yand Knotted Up’s mantra of just making sure stugot done no matter what I mean, what else could we ever have asked for? The logistical challenge of pulling o a wedding where you didn’t have control over all your vendors. Isprava was hosting the guests, Vishal and his team were transporting them, Anamiva doing the cooking, we ordering our own gift hampers and getting lanterns own in from Vietnam only to get stuck at customs...what a wild ride and you guys had to make sure everything was coordinated. It was a Herculean task to ask of anyone, and you pulled it owithout a hitch. Including the late night run for another 2 cases of gin! What amazing memories! Close your eyes and just trust them. From Liselle’s decor to Ken’s jugaad to Joel’s operational excellence - you will not nd a better team. Not in Goa or anywhere else. We had the wedding we always dreamed about right down to the last detail, and it was only thanks to Knotted Up being by our side every step of the way. My favorite part would have to be the team at knottedup, it was like working with family. We talked, laughed, planned and created something beautiful at the end of it! The absolutely breathtaking design and decor is something our guests rave about till this day. Wedding planning can often be an overwhelming experience with lots of decisions and dynamics that keep changing throughout the planning process. I was afraid I’d dwell on the smaller aspects and stop enjoying the process of planning but boy was I in for a surprise. The team ensured we had fun along the way and really took the time to get to know us and celebrate our union! They weren’t fazed by any last minute requests or changes and that was something I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a fantastic hands-on team that can make your dream wedding a reality then don’t look any further. My favourite thing about our wedding is that my husband & I had an absolute blast the entire weekend, because I knew the team at knottedup would take care of the rest. They genuinely care about us and our families and there’s heart and soul behind everything knottedup does. <3

Our favorite part was witnessing everything come together seamlessly. Living in Canada, we didn't have the opportunity to see any of the details in person, so we relied solely on pictures and placed our complete trust in Knotted Up, and they truly delivered. We were overjoyed to see the multitude of intricate details seamlessly merge into a cohesive whole. The support we received from the team from beginning to end was truly exceptional. We loved every part of the design! It was exactly what we imagined! Our greatest concern was not being familiar with Knotted Up - we relied on online research and a single acquaintance who knew one of the planners. However, after each conversation with the team, our con dence in their ability to orchestrate our wedding within our budget grew stronger and stronger. I would say that Knotted Up is exceptionally organized and took the time to truly understand our desires. While our wedding wasn't extravagant, the team managed to personalize the details we were keen on, ensuring that our special day felt uniquely tailored to us. We are truly grateful for the patience exhibited by your entire team throughout the entire process and our numerous questions. Valance and Sarah, in particular, went above and beyond at the end to ensure that every detail, including the alcohol selection and boutonniere arrangements, aligned perfectly with our vision..

The fact that we all became friends through the process so it was easier for us to communicate because ya’ll just got it! When I started the wedding planning I was unsure of what I wanted and so put multiple options on the table. All my mood boards were a hotchpotch of di erent elements and things I’d seen and liked. I honestly had no idea what things would look like. And the rst moment I walked into every event, I was rendered speechless... Liesel you brought our vision to life perfectly and took our breath away at every single event!!! Thank you!!! Dynamic sibling duo with a fantastic team who will really ensure that you can just chill and enjoy your wedding because they’ve got you! In fact they were so good that all the guests also can’t stop talking about them :) I hate slack!!! There I’ve said it 😂😂😂 but despite it ya’ll were awesome. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

We loved that Liesel and her team took the time to get to know us and understand what kind of wedding we wanted. Their attention to detail in the decor and execution was really incredible, and they went above and beyond to deliver the wedding of our dreams. Our biggest fear was having it all go wrong because we were planning the wedding from another country, and just had to trust that it would turn out okay. We were delighted that we chose to work with a team that helped make the wedding really seamless and stress free for us. I would probably tell my friend that Liesel and her team will spend time understanding and really delivering your dream wedding. I loved the aesthetic choices and attention to detail, and the fact that I could trust all these details to them so I truly enjoyed my wedding!

They are the best team out there in Goa. Liesel and Joel make a wonder duo. They took care of all the big things (guest management, vendors, licenses, lighting, technical aspects) and even the small things (items needed for rituals, hampers etc.). It was truly end-to-end - we are their biggest fans and cheerleaders! They were also our design vendors - and they curated new themes to go with each event. We wanted our Sangeet to feel very intimate and romantic. Our décor highlight was the starry night roof - it was covered with lights and gave a feeling of being outdoors on a starry night. With red roses all around, scented black candles, sequin linen, ball room music, wine & dine - it was perfectly done up by them. The décor for our wedding, beach party and reception were also perfectly handled by them. They all had beach-inspired elements and we loved every bit of it.Source
