Kunal Rawal started his designing career in menswear after qualifying from London College of Fashion and was selected in the first batch of gen next, becoming the youngest designer ever at the Lakme’s 2006 Fashion Week. ‘Soon after being artistically influenced by an amalgamation of India and the West, he launched his first collection. He brought his undying love for the whimsical, cheeky and playful into a wardrobe that was inching towards death by boredom. He included references to the Indian heritage in his work as well as charged his creations with authenticity, while placing them in an entirely modern-day lexicon.’ No surprise that his outfits can be often spotted in numerous ad-films, movies and magazines like GQ, Vogue, Elle, Femina, Grazia, Verve, etc.
