Sandhya did a flawless job with my makeup. it was exactly how I envisioned, if not better. Soni di styled my hair beautifully, complementing the entire look perfectly. What truly impressed me was how effortlessly they understood my requirements with just a single instruction. Their professionalism, warmth, and respectful nature made the entire experience so comfortable and enjoyable. And what should I say for Swati Maam, she did a beyond excellent job for my nikah and reception look. Absolutely loved my makeup by Swati! 🤍 It turned out even better than I expected. The look was exactly like the reference picture I shared — very natural, soft, and super pretty. It didn’t look heavy at all and enhanced my features beautifully. My entire family loved it and I received so many compliments throughout the event. The best part was that it stayed perfectly till the end — even after the party, my makeup was still fresh and flawless. I don’t live in Patna, so I relied entirely on Instagram and Lakme Dakbungalow’s responsiveness on WhatsApp while choosing my bridal makeup artist. They promised quality delivery — but I am suprised at how absolutely disappointing my experience with them was. booked their top-tier bridal packages for both events. On the Sangeet day, the “bridal expert” artist arrived 1.5 hours late and delivered a mediocre look that only improved slightly after constant instructions. No definition, no contouring, makeup that looked dry and cakey. For my wedding day, I explicitly called the salon in the morning requesting timely arrival. I also called & personally asked the makeup artist who was assigned to please be on time because there was a bridal pohotoshoot scheduled right after getting ready. I asked her to come by 2/2:30PM. At 3:10 PM, she casually informed me she had just left. She arrived at 3:45 PM. My makeup started at 4:10 PM. The Baaraat was at 7 PM. Had the Baaraat not been delayed by an hour, I would likely have still been in the makeup chair when it arrived. I could not have my bridal photo-shoot post getting ready because there was no time at all. And the audacity of the artists to argue back at us - saying 'we have gotten brides ready at 10/11PM and they've had no problem'. The flowers in my hair kept falling. My dupatta was so clumsily stitched, it came out. My makeup had to be touched up again. The quality of the makeup being unsatisfactory & average is another problem altogether, but the chaos, the unprofessionalism and the shamelessness of the artists to argue that the problem was ours - was just astonishing. I'm sorry, but this is astronomical level of shamelessness about your unprofessionalism. I paid about 50K in total for makeup & service that didn't deserve more than 20K in total. Absolute waste of money and one bad memory from my wedding day.
