We hired M8 Photography for our 2 day wedding events. Before booking, we met the Aryan, saw his portfolio which honestly looked really good and that’s what made us go with him. Our budget was tight so we thought this was a good balance between quality and cost. He also mentioned he has different teams working under him, so we trusted things would be handled professionally. Both event days went smoothly, but the disappointment came after we got the photos and videos. The pictures we received were nowhere close to what we were shown in the portfolio. The drone footage was horrible, low quality, unedited and it didn’t mix well with the main video at all. The wedding video itself looked like something from our parents’ time with those old school effects. There were even muted video clips where ladies were singing, which should have been captured perfectly. Honestly the overall photo and video quality was very poor. It felt like he either doesn’t own the portfolio he showed us or he sent some junior team just because we booked the cheaper package. My whole family was shocked when we saw the results. These are supposed to be our lifetime memories and now we don’t even feel like watching the photos or videos. That’s how bad it is. After this experience, I’m honestly not sure how they have so many 5/5 reviews here, it really feels like most of them are artificially posted. I’m writing this so others can be careful before booking M8 Photography. Please double check who will actually shoot your wedding and don’t just trust the portfolio they show.
