But god decided to shower his blessings and weather suddenly got windy before my wedding and it was drizzling on my entry to venue and finally after varmala exchange god showered his blessings on us with heavy rain. I got out of the outdoor venue and walked for about 1 km in heavy rain and wind and storm to find a shelter with wet Lehenga. I am not regular at make-up and hairstyles but I have an idea about what products are good. I had been following her work on social media for a very long time and knew that she transforms her brides. So, on my event days, I completely trusted her and asked her to work-up her and her hair-stylist's creativity on me. They used all premium products. Worst make-up artist ever. My biggest mistake was to choose Sukanya and go ahead with her services especially since I experienced bad attitude from her after I met her to discuss my look in the month of November. Since I didn't know much about make-up I was expecting her to guide me through things instead she asked me why am I so confused. I felt it would be better to get a trial done which she then said she doesn't do trials although when she first sent me her rates before I booked her, trail make-up along with charges for the same were on the list. Anyhow since I felt more comfortable doing a trial I insisted she give me one to which she replied that if I don't have confidence in her work she will give me a trial. She took it personally when in reality I wanted a trial so I can be confident of my look. Also she said she doesn't do a trial for hairstyles. After the trial too she was barely available to discuss the look and what changes I wanted. I was very tempted to change her at that point but considering I had already given her a down payment (Rs. 5000) and paid for trial makeup (Rs. 6000) I felt it would be a waste to change her at this late point only 2 months before my wedding. That was a big mistake and will be a life long regret. The time decided for her to come on my wedding day was 9:30 am. Later she tells me that she has another bride before me and will first send her hairstylist and she will come later. This was not told to me at the time of booking but in the month of November. The hairstylist comes an hour late at 10:30 am. As a bride you expect everything to go smoothly on your wedding day and especially for the people delivering services to be professional. After waking up early on a day which is going to be a long one as a bride I had to sit and wait for them. Totally unacceptable. Then the hairstylist rushes through my hair do but there is still no sign of Sukanya. After my hair is done I had to wait half an hour twiddling my thumbs waiting for Sukanya to arrive. When we tried calling her she said she will be there soon and later she stopped answering. She finally reached at 11:55 and I started my make-up so late. Moreover she didn't apologize for her tardiness. She in fact justified herself saying that if we do the makeup early it won't stay for long. When in reality it's the bride's choice of when she wants her makeup to be done. n she wants her makeup to be done. Also she didn't remember anything about the makeup look done at the trail and I had to keep reminding her of what to do. After the makeup was done I didn't even get a chance to look at myself properly in the mirror as I was so late and so stressed out cause of her. Thanks to her my entire schedule got delayed and I was unable to take the lovely photos I had wanted on my wedding day and neither was I able to give the video message for my husband to be cause of her. After hiring an expensive photographer, videographer and booking a sea view room at Cidade de Goa for the photo shoot I was unable to get the time to do it all thanks to her. She has been the most unreliable, unprofessional person I have ever worked with. Also the person with the most attitude. Also since the hairstylist rushed through my hair do it all started coming apart an hour later and post the church my hair was in a big mess, it looked like a bird's nest. My bridesmaids had to pin it back together and make it look less of a mess. Photos attached below. If any bride is considering taking Sukanya I advise them to proceed cautiously, unless you are okay with an unprofessional make-up artist who has big time attitude and if you are okay going through stress on your wedding day. Lastly I would like to inform all of you out there that Sukanya went to the extent of posting a fake review in my name with a 5 star rating. I have never come across such an unethical person before. When she knew a bad review was coming she tried to put a 5 star review first using my name to confuse people. This is totally immoral behaviour from her. Please beware of the good reviews on her page, they could also be fake like the one she posted by impersonating me which was put up to mislead potential new clients. Check the photo attached to see the fake good review with 5 stars posted by her. After contacting Wedmegood and telling them it is a fake review, Sukanya had to take the review down so you will not find it on her page anymore. Thank you Wedmegood for assisting me with this.

I hired her for my wedding in Goa in November 2019. If I didn't know anything about makeup, I'd give her a 5 on 5. I am from the US and I consider myself as someone who knows a little about hair and makeup because I have been doing my own and some of my friends' makeup for years now. I was so happy when I saw Sukanya using many of the same products as I do. But surprisingly, I had a super hard time explaining to her what I wanted for my look. When I would specifically tell her to not make my eyes look big, she would do exactly the opposite and put dark eye shadow, fill my brows and put big eyeliner. I told her not to make my face look shiny, and what did she do, made my whole face super shiny and glittery. That might be the definition of pretty for her, but that's not what is pretty to me. I like the natural look and I told her that in the very beginning. I like my flaws to show. But I guess, sometimes they just want to put more products to show their talent. So, she did end up making me look the way she wanted. Her hairstylist was a lot more accommodating the first day. The second day, even she got something into her and refused to give me the hairstyle I wanted! But I had had enough the first day and the second day I was not going to take NO for an answer. I fought hard and got them to do my hair and makeup exactly the way I wanted. Everyone told me that I had a real glow on my face that day. My flaws showed and that's when I felt like myself. By the way, the pictures taken by people on their phones for the second day came out amazing. The makeup did look like I had a natural glow on my face, that too without photoshop!! Sukanya, if you ever meet another bride like me who knows exactly what she wants, better just make her happy. Be open about what she wants. Be humble. Your makeup is going to look even better if she feels like herself!

My experience with Sukanya has been nothing but exceptional! Booking her for my wedding was the best decision I made. On the day of my wedding, she was waiting for me on time and the first look told me that she is a professional. Attitude problem,every interaction included the mention of money and payment.asking for things like what food will she be served,what car will be coming to pick n other irrelevant stuff. Sukanya is a brilliant artist who knows her work inside out. Unlike regular Catholic brides who want a natural look I wanted a glam one and she definitely made me look super glam. I booked sukanya for 3 functions-mehendi, cocktail/sangeet and my wedding. For my mehendi, her hair team did a good job, but the make up she did on me started looking cakey after an hour. Also the Kohl she used on me got runny and I got panda eyes. Thankfully I was wearing sunglasses for the event, and so it didn't show much in the pictures. My cocktail/sangeet make up was a complete disaster. The make up was highly overdone, and I look like a white ghost in all my pictures. My cocktail pictures are so ruined, I literally cried looking at them. Worst thing was that she didn't use a water proof mascara. I cried a little at my mom's emotional performance, and got to know that i have smudged mascara all over. Despite telling her about the disaster the previous night, she still did not use water proof mascara on me for my main day. BRIDES CRY! And again, runny mascara. Highly unprofessional on her part to make such blunders. My wedding pictures are ruined forever.

Living in Delhi and organising a wedding in Goa was hard enough, and finding the right make up artist was definitely one of the toughest tasks. I found Sukanya off wedmegood, and just loved her work from the word go, as I found her to be very versatile. I had three functions in total, including a catholic wedding reception in Bombay, and a sangeet and Nikah as part of our destination wedding in Goa. Sukanya created my looks for the Goa functions. My brief was that I didn't want to end up looking like the typical bride on any of the occasions, and Sukanya understood and complied in the best way. We had a trial session a few months before the wedding, which was immaculate. For the sangeet, she gave me a deep blue smoky eye with soft pink lips and mermaidy curls that complemented my peach and turquoise lehnga perfectly, keeping the look young and fresh. The Nikah look was slightly more traditional, with deep pink lips, deeply kohled eyes and well defined brows. My dupatta was super heavy but she found a way to pin it all perfectly. The base for my skin was so well done that it did not budge despite the humid Goa weather on both the days. Sukanya is really one of the best artist I have ever met... Her make up is so mesmerising that it actually makes u look beautiful than ever.. My friend Nishita had her make up done by Sukanya on her wedding... Really the combination of colours had given a sparkle to Nishita's look.. The dark circles were hidden so perfectly that it seemed that she never had any.. Also the marks Nishita had were covered perfectly with the colour correctors she used..
