Worst experience on the day for my brother in law marriage she sent some one else for makeup without prior informing me she is so unprofessional and so disrespectful

I wish there could be 0 star. She is really untrusted professional who can ditch you on your big day. We booked her for my sister's wedding and reception and paid 50 percent amount in advance. At the night before the big wedding day she left a voice note in wassup she is not well and will send some one who has worked with her. We don't have any other options left. The makeup artist which she sent to us was very slow and the only person to do the brides makeup hair everything. The makeup which she did was not even looked so grateful that should give that bridal appeal. She just did formality of doing a makeup and immediately after makeup was done, I received a call from maitree to pay rest of amount right now. I was on call with Maitry Savla and requested her we will pay in sometime when the event will be finished as we were very busy but she just want payment asap and I also realised now Ms Maitry Savla was completely fine by her voice over phone. We were really disappointed, we have booked Maitry Savla as per her charges and then she send some one else who doesn't meet our expectations. We payed her remaining full amount immediately but was not happy. We felt we're cheated by Maitry Savla I would not recommend her stay away from such unprofessional liar

One of the worst makeup artist I have come across. This woman has single handedly ruined my engagement event. We had booked Maitry Savla for 2 Siders + groom for 4 events. Over the last month this woman has seriously troubled me. I worked with other vendors from WMG and they were a delight but this woman is a nightmare. 1. For a 4pm event, her team remember reached at 3pm. She lied blatantly about the timings till the time I told her I have a check in and check out time in the building. 2. They did not have foundation shades and got only one foundation for both my sister and mom. Claiming there is a universal shade for all. My sister had to give her products. 3. They coloured half my sisters lip and said else the lips will appear big. I have heard of MUA’s over lining lips but cutting off half a lip is a first. 4. My sister finished her makeup and reached 1hr later (after the initial Pooja had gotten over) 5. She forced my sister to apply lashes even when she didn’t want to and called me and lied that your sister wants lashes. From day one after the engagement, 19th February, we did not want to work with her and told her well in advance (1.5months before the next event, 27th March) and asked a refund on the advance we gave her for all the events. She literally kept begging till the time it was embarrassing. Eventually we snapped and had a verbal argument. The whole time she said she had booked her dates and so she could not cancel. Eventually we said okay we can give only 2 Siders and no groom to which she initially agreed. Then she messaged my team and told them she would not be coming and sending her team mate. I thought the whole reason for the whole argument was because ‘she had booked her dates’. Either you take that or forget the money. FYI she wanted us to send more money as advance if we wanted the further service, which we were not going to do considering this woman doesn’t stand by her word and is a flight risk. Basically this freeloader wanted to just keep the advance for herself and not work for it or refund it. Wedding days are supposed to be memorable. I have worked with MUA’s before and even left positive reviews for them but this woman really needed this review as she is scammer for sure. The amount of trouble this woman has given me I have nothing but bad wishes and abuses for her. Think 1000 times before you give her any advance because she is one of the biggest liar and has no moral compass.

Maitry is professional, talented and patient. She did a great job for me and my sister with traditional yet subtle makeup for the day and a suitable make up for the reception. Really glad I chose her for the big day.
