Makeover Magic

I had made a booking with her due to a family friend’s recommendation. The worst mistake for my wedding. I had paid her advance of 5k and booked her 4 months ago, with timing & location written in WhatsApp as 13th Feb 3PM - telling her that she’ll be available during the whole time including my changeover. She double booked her self and started to put timers on me (she wanted to make me ready 2 hours before my wedding for going to another bride make - she wanted to leave by 3:30PM) Pushing me not to attend my haldi for more than 2 hours. She blamed me for changing the time, while I was happy with 2:30 PM, but she wanted 1:30 PM. Also, she didn’t communicate all this to me herself, she told me all this when I had called her to request to come 30 min early than previously decided time - conveying that she’ll be done early too! But she kept on shouting at me regarding her other shoots & struggles of being a make up artist. I felt so bad as a costumer hearing all of it while panicking of whats to come. She even kept pinging me on whatsapp despite me asking her to stop & keep the money, I don’t know what was she fighting for! She even said on call that if she gets delayed due to her other appointment , “aap apna dekh lena phir”. She was so rude & arrogant. While there are plenty great artists in Nagpur, it’s very close to my wedding & I got to know it today, coz I called her!!! And thankfully so!! Else she would have created drama at the venue on D day, riding through my make up , the person that she is!! She didn’t even refund the advance despite her fault and double booking! She did the same to my family friend also for her reception when she got late due to double booking. She has a reputation of double booking & this can happen to anyone. After all this I’ve cancelled my booking with her & let her keep my booking charge coz I couldn’t stoop down to her level of speaking anymore. Forget refund, It’s 13 days to my wedding & I don’t have a make up artist now. I’m in complete panic due to her. I hope I’m able to find a genuine, professional & good artist by my wedding. And I definitely don’t regret removing her thinking what she would’ve done on the D-day!!! She is bad professionally & behaviourally both! DO NOT BOOK if you don’t wanna be in this state that I’m in today.

Sangapriya did my makeup and hair styling for all my weeding functions. Makeup was fine but I definitely had some service issues with her. It was a South Indian wedding so I wanted hair extension to be applied but she was not carrying it so the look that I wanted did not come together. I was a little disappointed.
