Makeover by Disha & Prachi

This was supposed to be a review. A simple note about how beautiful my makeup looked and how professional the team was. But somewhere between the first sentence and this one, it turned into a letter. A letter of love. A letter of gratitude. Because what Disha and Prachi were to me during my wedding cannot be summed up in a “review.” They walked in as my makeup artists. They walked out as family. From the beginning, I could see the bond they share as sisters. It’s warm, it’s unspoken, it’s protective. And somehow that same energy wrapped itself around me. They didn’t just understand my face, they understood my emotions. My chaos. My silences. I was managing almost every element of my wedding myself. It was magical, but it was madness. So many moving parts. So many decisions. So many expectations. My family couldn’t always be there while I was getting ready, and those quiet getting-ready rooms can feel very loud when you’re alone with your thoughts. Disha never let me feel alone. She watched me the way only someone who truly cares does. Making sure I ate. Making sure I drank water. Making sure I paused and breathed. There were moments across those three days, five back-to-back events that could have dampened anyone’s spirit. Situations that would have stressed out most brides. But Hemangi and Disha absorbed it. They handled things quietly. They protected my peace without ever making it dramatic. Weddings are emotionally daunting. You’re exhausted but running on adrenaline. You’re smiling while coordinating ten things in your head. And somehow, through it all, she never let the stress show on my face. Not once did I look overwhelmed. Not once did I look tired. I just looked… happy. Glowy. Like a bride who had nothing in the world to worry about. Prachi made my mom and sister look beyond stunning. There are literally reels circulating about how beautiful my mom looked and it makes me tear up because every mother deserves to feel iconic at her daughter’s wedding. And she did. My sister radiated. We all did. They didn’t transform us, they elevated us. They brought out the best, softest, most confident versions of who we already were. And then there are the moments I will never forget. On my wedding day, I kept taking one bite of food and running off for back-to-back calls. I must have abandoned that plate a hundred times. Hemangi finished my hair, picked up my plate, and fed me the entire meal herself. Then fruits. Like I was her own. I genuinely survived that day because of her. Tell me that isn’t family. Their team would show up at events just to check in. To make sure everything was okay. To hug me. To compliment the décor, the vibe, the little details I had worked so hard on. In moments when I couldn’t pause and take it all in, they celebrated it for me and I’m convinced Disha shed more tears than I did at my own wedding. As a bride, you spend more time with your HMU team than almost anyone else. They see you before the jewellery, before the outfit, before the crowd. They see you vulnerable. And I truly could not have asked for better women to hold me in those moments. If I could relive those three days, I would! just to sit in that chair again and feel that kind of care around me. So no, this isn’t a review. It’s a thank you. It’s a hug in words. It’s me saying that these sisters didn’t just get me ready for my wedding, they carried me through it. And if you’re a future bride reading this… don’t miss out on them. They will make you look beautiful. But more importantly, they will make you feel held. 🤍

I am so glad that I met with Disha. She is a gem of a person- very soft spoken and co-operative! She took efforts to understand me and my personal style during our demo session. She was on time. I think for any bride that's the most important thing. She ensured for both my looks I was ready on time..Disha's team is efficient at the same time the work done was amazing. Everyone loved both the looks. I cannot be more happy and satisfied! Because of her I was super relaxed.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin because Disha and Pooja were such a beautiful part of my wedding journey. I first met Disha during my Roka in July, and from that very day, there was something about her warmth and professionalism that stayed with me. She was so sweet, calm, and absolutely perfect with her work that I didn’t have a second thought before calling her all the way to Indore for my wedding. That itself says everything about the trust I had in her. From the very first function to the last, Disha made me feel completely at ease. It never felt like I had hired a makeup artist — it felt like a friend, or a family member, was getting me ready on the most important days of my life. I gave her the responsibility of making me look and feel my best, and she truly delivered beyond expectations. Every function had a different look — each makeup style thoughtfully curated, elegant, and perfectly suited to the outfit and mood of the ceremony. Nothing felt repetitive, nothing felt overdone. I still felt like myself — just a more radiant, confident version. A special mention to Pooja, who created the most beautiful hairstyles for every event. Each hairstyle was unique, detailed, and complimented the entire look flawlessly. Together, they were such a dream team — coordinated, calm, and so positive throughout. What I appreciated the most was how relaxed they made the entire process. There was no rush, no chaos, no stress. I was ready on time for every function, which allowed me to actually breathe, enjoy my moments, and soak everything in. That peace of mind is priceless for a bride. And Disha didn’t just stop at makeup — she even helped capture some beautiful pictures, making sure every detail was perfect. Thank you, Disha and Pooja, for not just making me look beautiful, but for making me feel beautiful. I wanted to share some feedback regarding this experience from my friend’s wedding day, where I was present throughout the getting-ready process. Based on the timeline shared, it was expected that the bride would be ready within the planned duration; however, the process extended by nearly an hour and a half, largely due to time spent on creating Instagram content. Because of the delay, things became rushed towards the end and we had to step in to help with her jewellery and shoes, and she unfortunately missed wearing her nathni. There also appeared to be a lack of coordination between the makeup artist and the hairstylist, which impacted the overall flow. In addition, a separate photographer had been brought in primarily to create content, which further shifted the focus away from the bride. As it was her wedding day, the expectation was a professional and well-coordinated experience, but unfortunately that was not delivered. Given the overall experience and the high cost involved, this sister duo would not be recommended, as the primary focus seemed to be on content creation rather than on the bride. Names have been intentionally omitted, as the intent is not to cause any trouble for the bride but simply to share an honest and constructive experience. PS: This review is not fake. Just ask Prachi about which bride i am talking. She was soo frustrated by the end she was even ready to skip the second look which was agreed because the team was taking soo much time. At the end she looked like a Bhaiya bride with big red sindhoor on her forehead. Just a genuine friend looking after her best friend who was the bride that day.

I attended a friend's daughter wedding and came from Singapore and i choosed Disha and had a pleasant experience with her and her team. She is extremely patient, calm, and took the time to truly listen to my requests before starting. She was punctual and professional, which made the whole experience stress-free. Since I booked her for two events, she quickly understood my taste and delivered looks that suited me perfectly both times. I was so happy with the results—highly recommend her!

I am an NRI bride and I wanted a look that is minimal yet gorgeous. I wanted looks that bought out my best features and done not wash me out . She bought out my best features through her makeup . I did feel like me for Sangeet, wedding and reception. She made me look amazing.. she planned every look for me and my mom… thank you Disha ♥️

It was my daughters wedding and We opted For "Makeover by Disha and Prachi". Disha did a fantastic job dolling up my daughter for all events Sangeet Wedding and Reception. These guys are not professional the whole event the make up artist was just consistently doing the makeup 5 hrs for initial make and 3 hours for touch up we started at 7 am and till 3:30 pm Prachi was just doing makeup. Please save your money opt for someone better and known. In a family event they don't want family around because it disturbs them for some reason.

I had an amazing experience with Disha MUA! She’s incredibly talented and truly understands what works best for your face and skin tone. The makeup looked flawless, perfectly blended, and lasted the entire event without feeling heavy. She was super patient, professional, and made me feel so comfortable throughout. I loved how she enhanced my natural features rather than overdoing it — exactly the look I wanted! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and friendly makeup artist. 💄✨

Disha brought out my best features and made me look absolutely fantastic and still like myself. She is extremely professional with her work. She nailed these looks within an hour or so and AC barely working at the last minute. Kudos to her colleague MS Yashoda she did a fabulous job as well.
