Makeover by Rashi

My experience with Rashi’s team for a party make up was not good. The horrible part was the hairstyling for all my sisters and mother. The hairstyle did not even last until the start of the event. pins coming out all the time from a simple messy bun. They got wrong extensions for which they charged me 1500 rupees. It did not match my hair and also did not stay long enough to stay till start of the event. The hairstyle wasn’t even close to what they only suggested from their own insta page. Horrible part was that a simple bun for my mother did not stay at all - she just went out of the room and it started to open and until then their team was gone. what is the point of hiring a make up team and they can’t even do it properly being paid so much. along with that if i have to only tell u to use a donut or something to fix her hair - then I should only do the stuff. all this is when u pay them all what they demand including transportation. our entire look was just ruined for my own family event. never ever hiring her team for anything further.

I had booked Rashi for my engagement function in Lucknow. I had a horrible experience with her. Firstly her pricing here is wrong. She charged 45,000 for engagement look and it was just not worth it. I had already discussed my entire look, hair and make up in advance. The hair accessories she purchased were very cheap and didn’t match my outfit even though I had shared outfit images with her, so I couldn’t use them. I had shared my hair reference with her, still her team did not do the hair as I wanted. They took 3 hours still they were not able to finish my hair in time. I was not even completely ready, my hair, draping and jewelry was still left to be done, but Rashi left the venue because she had a flight to catch. My mother personally requested that stay and finish her look then leave, but she left irrespective. Her assistant wasn’t able to do draping for me, I had to eventually do it myself with my mother’s help. I was literally in tears right before my event. And her overall attitude was very unprofessional. She was getting irritated when things didn’t go her way, and was very rude. The 45k i spent was completely not worth it. I would not recommend anyone to book her for your main event especially bridal. Although her senior artist team headed by her sister simmy did a very good job for my family. Please don’t book mua based on their instagram page . Go through their wedmegood profile and ask around from locals in city about their work and their experience with them.

Let's see where to start. First of all her pricing on wed me good are not mentioned correctly her engagement makeup is of 35000 and her wedding makeup is 40000. Plus if you want to book for any other member full makeup plus hairdo that will cost you 5000. My makeup was okayish tbh but she spoiled my mood on the wedding day terribly. I was late because of a pooja and some traffic ( by late i mean to say i reached her Salon by 3 or 3:30) which according to her timing was late, she was telling me this on a phone call that the hair artist will leave if you won't come. Like seriously are you kidding me after charging 85000 this is how you treat your clients. The makeup for my sister and my friend was horrible. Please don't book any other guest makeup from her. The second point which is annoying is she will comment on your facial hair, she will insist to take money in cash. I was residing in Gugaon and had a chat with her idk assistant or who is she Simmy. Because later on I got to know she owns her own makeup studio in Kanpur. But I never met or had a word with a person who I had paid 85000 before my wedding or engagement day. I was in touch with Simmy so a big communication gap. Why was I introduced to someone who has nothing to do with what I really wanted on my engagement or wedding looks The red flags that I should have noticed were that I paid her 10000 for engagement and 10000 for wedding as a booking amount using UPI (which she was not very comfortable with) and on the day of the engagement I paid the rest of the amount in cash - she called me on the way saying are you sure you have given me the money because I couldn't find it please check on your side. My point is be respectful towards others don't treat them badly, the amount charged and the quality of product and makeup used doesn't justify each other.My hair accessories was a cheap 200rs ornament from Amazon and the p.a.c (rip off for m.a.c) products were used for my makeup

Rashi, you did an absolutely amazing job! My engagement look was stunning, and I can't get over how much more beautiful my red lehenga looked on the wedding day because of your magic touch. So I had booked Rashi for my wedding makeup. I do not know what went off with her even before she started the makeup. I had discussed with her all the looks and kind of makeup i would want and it was all good over phone. i had told her i want the makeup to look really simple with utmost intricacies. I had already told her i only like a very thin liner that only outlines my eyes, nothing broad. Then, i had asked for eyelashes that you dont have to put the whole of the artificial eyelash on my eyes as is, instead you can try cutting it and putting only in the half of the eyes towards end, which looks much more natural. Coming to the wedding day, she gave me a little crooked and yet broad eyeliner. when i had asked her if i can have a look she made faces and said she wont be able to work that way and mind you she was done with the eyes and had began with the rest of face and its then she didnt let me have a look at the eyes. most of the face done, when i finally looked in the mirror. The eyeshadow wasnt well blended, eyeliner was broad and crooked on one eye with no tail whatsoever and creases under the eyes and beside my nose. i asked if she will be doing the final touch ups in these areas because i absolutely didnt like my eye and around eye makeup. she said she is done and now she will finish up with lipstick. i told her about my issues so she said that she will wipe off and do it again. she did the face again which was good but for the eyes, she argued with me that she has put lot of efforts into my eyes and wont do it again. unbelievable behaviour. i am sure no bride who pays 45k for one makeup would have the time to fight for unnecessary reasons with her own artist. anyway, the eyelash looked sooo much out of place (which when i told her she said again the same thing, that removing and redoing it will take time and she is not willing to do, i asked if there is anything that she can do to fix, i was almost in tears and panicking now as i was running out of time because of the whole arguments and some makeup redo). She did the lips nicely, thank god! anyway, next she let her assistants do the hair and she left the venue and the pins in my bun were hurting and the assistant could not find which pin it could be. my lips needed a touchup and she had taken the lipstick with her, so…. anyway, i realized i cannot let these people ruin my wedding day and i was right. i was really happy at the wedding but just looking at the pictures now and then when i can see the eye makeup bad up close and when i remember all the arguments, i get sad a little and thats why i finally thought i should put this experience out for everyone. PS: for the makeup artists, see i understand you would love to do your job without the client looking in the mirror 100 times, thats annoying and disturbing. BUT YOU HAVE TO ask the client’s feedback when a certain part of your makeup is done. it’s not your practice session that you believe yourself and go on as you wish. instead its the client’s big day, you have to know if they like it so far. stop making everything about yourself, especially when you are giving your service to someone.
