Hi future brides, consider this review from a feb 2025 Hyderabad bride. I live in the US and contacted MUA Tanva Patowari 2 months before my wedding. I was looking for Wedding hair and makeup artists but it’s difficult to find them based on online posts and Instagram pages. She responded immediately and was friendly. She told me to pay the 60k deposit to confirm my appointments for sangeet and wedding day and that we would discuss my look for each event once I was in India. I contacted her 3 weeks before my wedding when I was in India with concerns, she did not make time to meet me or talk to me on the phone about my wedding look. She refused to do a trial session even for a few because it was against her policies - I did not receive a contract or a brochure or any documentation or even a text of her policies. She is not upfront or transparent about them. If you ask her she will gaslight you saying all her clients know this - but how could you if she never tells you?! On the wedding day she and her team Did not let my wedding photographers take getting ready shots again because it was against her policy. I was too stressed to argue and figured I would have the videos and photos she’s taking. I requested for my photos 2 days after the wedding at which point she said She had them on a drive and would send them. 3 months later- nothing. I kept messaging her every month till 3 months later she said I was unreasonable to expect photos. Her team deleted them because they were not good. If they were good, I would have seen them on her instagram page. We had no conversation about my photos being on Instagram, I am a private person not a celebrity. Her instagram page is only photos and videos of people she likes, and most of the hair and makeup looks are similar. If you ask her about these concerns, she will not respond. Please be careful and do not book her. There are lots of nicer MUA in Hyderabad who will treat you well and let you have your photos too.
