Honestly just go for her blindly. When you confirm her the trial is free anyway, and you will see what a solid job she does. I was riddled with anxiety at this stage of the wedding cause I really cannot stand looking like anything other than me, so the heavy makeup up is really not for me. Even the really well done look is not for me no matter how much better I may look! I always want to look as much as myself as possible. Most artists do not understand that, they still try to do what they know best but Jyoti does what you need, and there is a lot of make up counselling and brain storming on her trial sessions to help you achieve just that. Jyothi was the most cooperative, understanding, patient artist. She was sweet and understanding when I got a trial done and booked her after 15 days of trial due to family preferring local artist. But got her at last. I knew right the time at the trial that I wont regret it. And proven so. She really understood and listened my wants. Which was very light no makeup look. I wanted to look like myself like i look everyday when i go to office just a little better. But she did not just give me that she brought out something more and beautiful and the efforts she put in. The next day for the muhurtam look i just sat on the chair and said do whatever u think is best and the pictures proves her billion dollar talent. I needed a makeup artist for my wedding (myself and my bridal party), and found Jyoti's profile here. These are the reasons to choose her services for your wedding or event: 1. She is courteous and professional in her work. 2. She really knows her stuff and will gladly answer all queries you may have, no matter how silly they may seem. 3. She takes your suggestions into consideration, so you will get what you ask for. 4. She will discuss her ideas with you as well. Taking her suggestions into consideration was totally worth it. 5. I was particular on the fact that all makeup used on me should be cruelty-free. She uses cruelty-free options and even showed me the same so I knew what was being applied on my skin. 6. She uses good quality products which last a long time. I tend to have sensitive and oily/combination skin. She kept that in mind and I ended up with amazing makeup that lasted the whole day. At times when it got warmer (with camera lighting) and even when I ate, the makeup stayed mostly on and, by the end of the day, I looked almost as fresh as I did when she first applied it. 7. She was punctual and kept me updated as and when needed. 8. Reasonable budget, and completely worth the money. The experience with Jyoti, simply put was everything that I wanted. She was very patient and gave me exactly the look I wanted. I even did a makeup trial with her before deciding to go with her for my engagement day. She and Namrata make a great team and are so easy going. Would definitely hire Jyoti again! She made me feel comfortable in makeup, something that I’m not used to wearing on a daily basis and that for me was especially important, that I don’t look like a whole different person or feel like there’s something heavy on my face.
