Makeup by Chetna Mallya

I had bad experience. She has her own transport and came with a cabin size bag. Charged uber XL peak pricing showing a screenshot of what the price was for to and fro travel. That’s very unethical. She demands all the payment upfront before starting the makeup and is rigid with what she can do. From makeup point of view it’s decent. The hairstylist she brought was the worst. She is expensive and not worth what she has to offer.

Chetna firstly came super late for my sangeet and I couldn't even get any photographs clicked which is very unfortunate since you're spending lots of money on artists to show up in time and be professional. I didn't appreciate it at all since I was very prompt with my timings. I also found her to be a little pushy - I felt like what I asked for and what I got were very different. I wanted much more natural minimal make up but she essentially did whatever she liked to my face and my face didn't look like myself either. It took me a while to write this review because genuinely I didn't want to spread negativity, but all my friends and family also told me that my make up was too much. However, I loved my hair on both days which was done by Kavya BV.a

Very good experience with Chetna. Right from being clear about the makeup type and being on time to the venue, she was on dot with what was spoken and makeup was perfect along hair styling for the event, we would definitely recommend her.

I first booked Chetna Mallya for my engagement. I was very sceptical since I did not go for a trial makeup. But once she did her makeup on me I decided that she will be my makeup artist for my wedding. Coming to my wedding events I had sangeet, reception and wedding. Chetna was on time with her team. For my wedding I asked her to do whatever she wanted. She brought out the charm and enhanced my features with her makeup. Yes there are a lot of makeup artists these days but what makes Chetna Mallya different is that she does makeup based on your skin type and tone and she enhances your beauty by doing makeup which suits your facial features I was very happy with her work and efficiency. Makeup to me has always been to just look neat and clean, also every time I tried getting someone do a makeup for me for any of my events they always messed up ..untill my experience with chetna, it was not just makeup ..she just transformed me , gave me a total new look , it was like i was in my best ever Avatar.. felt so good that day ..still cannot get the feeling out of my head..I was glowing and super perfect. Makeup in the right hands is an art to worship as it can redifine you..and that's exactly what chetna did to me...now waiting for the next time she is going to make me that special again. The experience with Chetna has been a great one. I had her do my makeup for my sisters wedding and it turned out to be as per my expectations and everyone loved my makeup and hair. She and her hairstylist Bhavya are very courteous and understand the needs of the client ahead of time to plan better. She even did the makeup for my mum and 2 aunts, they have been super happy about their looks and they trust Chetna blindly for her skills and advice. Chetna is very understanding and always makes you feels comfortable. I would suggest you definitely go to her for any of your functions.
