Loved alll the looks, but my personal favourite was the haldi look! She had so much patience with me, because I had told I need vvvv subtle and simple look I actually troubled her with this for every look but still she didn’t utter a word! I will categorize this review into two parts: 1. Professionalism: From what I have heard, the experiences with wedding vendors especially MUAs aren't always pleasant. Vendors aren't respectful about the client's time (it's known IST isn't really taken seriously at Indian weddings). There's a very similar almost same 'general routine' done with every client. And at times they are quite adamant about their work. I am a noob so I wanted someone who can customise her work based on my skin, features and requirements. Enter Deepa- she was the first and only MUA I had a trial done with and I just knew. She is visibly passionate about her work. You are her canvas and she will put everything into creating an art. And what a professional! She was before time for all my events, and helped me get ready on time. But my favourite part was how she treats her team: there's a learning, a teaching and a brainstorming process all at the same time while the client's makeup is going on. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin, and I was sure I would definitely breakout after the heavy bridal makeup (everyone I had asked, told me you cannot avoid this as your skin isn't used to as much makeup) Guess what: not even a single pimple or texture change. Amazing high end products. Trust me if my skin survived, yours definitely will. Makeup enthusiasts: please ask what she uses, I am sure she will be happy to help out. All my looks were appreciated and quite different from each other: I went for a very pop colourful one for Haldi, very MetGala-ish for Sangeet and a neutral, natural look for the wedding. My makeup stayed for several hours, after sweaty dancing and Holi like haldi. (Also for noobs like me: No, the makeup doesn't look cakey and contrary to popular belief airbrush isn't needed). 2. Personal touch: From the trial, till post wedding she has been sweet and helpful to me. If you want someone who is genuinely nice, enjoys her work and vibes with you all at the same time: Please hire her. Her attitude towards her client, her team, her client's family and friends is extremely nice. Case in point: She was very patient with my mom (a woman who has never even worn a lipstick in her entire life) and did her makeup as well. She vibed with my best friend as well. Final words: Trust her if you are noob, tell her your requirements, definitely go for a trial (as it helps you both: she notes down your skin type, shades, products, your requirements and follows it through). I had a good time working with Deepa. I got Deepa for muhurta , reception, and beegara oota events. I also got Deepa as makeup artist for my mum. She is very knowledgeable and did a great job with my makeup. She is also very responsive and easy to get in touch with. My only con was the hairstylist/saree draper, Saroja, who I landed up with on my muhurta day. I really wish the hairstylist had taken some care creating the hairstyle. My bridal jade started falling off minutes before gauri pooja [photo] and fell apart completely in the next hour. My hairstyle post this looks so awful in the photographs that I can't bear to look at my own wedding photos. Hair was the biggest concern I had coming into this and I am disappointed that this happened to me. The hairstylist also did a very careless and hasty saree draping that my cousins helped me fix. While I understand Deepa tried her best getting a good hairstylist for muhurta, I wish I had knowledge about this particular hairstylist's work prior to signing up. Another hairstylist, Bhavya, who I got for reception and beegara oota was amazing! She was very focused and was at ease working with hair. My mum loved her saree draping skills . Unfortunately the muhurta look overshadowed my entire experience as it was a good look when it was first created but became a completely horrifying look minutes before the muhurta.

Due to covid, my wedding kept getting postponed and eventually after one year of waiting, we decided last minute to get married in February this year. We flew down to Bangalore 20days before the D day and that's when all the wedding planning started. I got lucky with Deepa. Thankfully she was available. Right during the trial session with her it felt like we clicked. I confirmed with her the very day. Such a sweet and bubbly artist. I chose her for all my main wedding events and she made sure to give me different looks each time. It so turned out that the color of my outfits were repeating. I had two blues and two pinks for my wedding events. (Thanks to last minute shopping) Different shades ofcouse. I was concerned about how it would look monotonous during the 2 days. Much to my surprise Deepa gave such different looks that it all got masked off. I kept coordinating with her throughout and she threw off ideas for hair, accessories etc and it turned out so great. I'm not a girly person myself. I'm not too much into dressing up or makeup. I trusted her and gave her full freedom in picking the right looks for me. Be it hair, or the eye shadow color/style or lip color. She was smart enough to give bold styles in increments and made sure I didn't feel it wasn't too much. Also she never left the venue in the 2 days. She was there through out the events. She gave her fully attention to me. That was just perfect. No matter what delays and issues happens during the wedding you can for sure rely on Deepa that she's going to be there for you on time. And you'll never be delayed because of her. The only complaint I have was, she didn't come down to the events to enjoy with us. The food, the dance etc.

The big day of my life and so many things to do... And last minute my MUA had to cancel as her sister's marriage got fixed on the same day!! To my rescue one of my friend referred Deepa... I went to her for a trial make up... It was love at first sight... It was like meeting an angel.. I liked the flexibility in her... I could tell her what I like... What I dont like. My sister also gave her input and she was all open to listen to it and accommodate. Finally the day came she started her work... While working, the happiness and satisfaction she had on her face, as if she is painting a canvas.. As it was traditional bengali marriage she finished the makeup with the tiara, and I came out of the room. This review would be incomplete if I don't mention about Shruthi... as it was Bengali marriage I needed a bun... and with all my jewellery and all....it was a challenge for Shruthi... top of that my sister didn't want traditional Bengali look... she finally said I will do... no worries. with Deepa's make she blend the hair in almost no time. once I saw it in the mirror...it was an awwww feeling.... Deepa was AMAZING and I highly recommend her! I was recommended to her by a cousin. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to have a trial session which she suggested I do. So for the event in Bangalore, she purposefully built in enough time to work with me, understand my likes and dislikes and allow for time to redo if needed- so smart! Of course that wasn't necessary because she did a FANTASTIC JOB! Not only did she make me feel more beautiful than ever for the event, but after the session, we felt like old friends... she was just such a pleasure to work with. She showed a very high degree of professionalism, used only the best products and had awesome technique! I didn't originally book her for my wedding in Goa (a few days after the first event) since she was already booked for one of the two days. As I was getting my make up done in Goa with someone else, I realized I was having the opposite experience as what I had with Deepa, I looked awful! So I reached out to Deepa in a panic, she dropped everything, got on a flight and saved me for day 2 of my wedding! I feel so lucky for having been dolled up by Deepa Megnath (Sweetheart) She's has been so sweet since the beginning of my enquiry for bridal makeup for my big days, she's a pro at makeup and puts her best to make anyone look flawless with her makeup skills, she's accurate in giving very detailed look that goes hand in hand with your attire, jewelry and what you desire. She's extremely lovely and fun loving. She is never in a hurry to finish up, rather she puts in a lot of patience and make sure you feel comfortable with her makeup.
