I had booked her for two different looks. On the day of the event, there was heavy traffic due to the RCB match celebration, which delayed my pandit’s arrival and caused us to rush through the two makeups. Initially, the artist suggested doing just one makeup look for both events but still wanted payment for two. I explained that both events required different attire and requested her to do a minimal second look instead. She seemed upset and started making me uncomfortable. While the first look turned out well, for the second one, she deliberately didn’t allow me to wash my face. Instead, she just wiped it with wet tissues and applied new makeup on top, which caused the layers to mix badly. She then blamed my skin for the mess she created and tried to convince me it looked fine—since I’m not very experienced with makeup, I believed her at that moment. However, after she left, the makeup didn’t even last for half an hour. All my guests pointed out how bad it looked, and she ended up completely ruining my day.

Thank you so much Greeshma for the lovely makeup and hairstyle for me and my daughter on her birthday. The makeup was soft, elegant, and matched our outfits perfectly. You made us look so pretty and feel so special on her special day!

I found Greeshma through her instagram profile and after going through her previous work, I decided to contact her. From the very first conversation till the end she has been extremely sweet, accommodative of my preferences and open to all my suggestions while adding her own creative input. Whenever I reached out to her with picture references or new thoughts on how I wanted my hair or eyes to look, she was always responsive and assured me that the look would go the way I wanted. I believe this is so important in an artist as they shouldn’t blindly push their ideas on the client. After each step, she stopped and asked me if I’m okay with the look or needed any change. The look turned out so great that I got a lot of compliments :) I also want to give a shout-out to her and the team for being Covid safe by wearing masks all the time and assuring me that all the tools are sterilised. She arrived in time to ensure no delays and rushing last minute - we even got some extra photoshoot time because of this.
