To sum up the whole experience with Riya was ‘phenomenal’. Now I want to dive deep through the whole process of how I came about finding Riya Malhotra, the make up artist who readied me for a friend’s day wedding, this February 14th. A friend introduced us, whose make-up, Riya did for the cocktail and Sangeet soirée, and I was smitten by how thoughtful, comfortable yet glamorous make up was done on her. Riya picked up hues from the mother of pearl embellishment on the subtle fawn 3 piece outfit. Her attention to skin texture, and tone, comforted me, and we both shared excitement for dramatic eye makeup. She picked violet-lavender hues from the trinkets, and soft pink lip, brightened up my face. To match the look, she set my hair in beautiful beach waves with hair accessories to suit the sunny day. The whole look lasted through the day. I am thankful to her assistant who so mindfully followed her lead, to materialise her vision. Thank you big time!!
