Hello to all the too be brides, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favour and do NOT book this makeup artist for your wedding . You would be better off spending 30,000 on makeup and doing it all yourself with some tutorials. Shubhdeep was extremely rude and unprofessional before and after booking. I had paid my advance 2 months prior and had to call REPEATEDLY for the two weeks before my wedding to confirm if she was even coming or not. The ONE time I was able to reach her she was EXTREMELY RUDE and had an attitude for me asking to confirm if she will even be coming to my wedding or not. I was so stressed the morning of my wedding she came 2 HOURS LATE from CHANDIGARH. She did makeup within 1 hour which is a very short time to get professional makeup and hair done. Usually oversees MUA come at around 4-5 o’clock in the morning to get you ready for morning photos with your family and so you can EAT something, clearly this was not the case as she did makeup so late I could NOT take photos with my family or get professional pictures done which is a memory I will miss forever. She only did 2 safety pins to pin my whole dupatta draping and pinning and I asked for more since I was unsure, and she said that NO IT WOULD BE OKAY. Well it wasn’t ok! My dupatta was failing off regularly almost 12 times when just walking or sitting up, she didn’t even do a side pinning on my shoulder which is BASIC DRAPING THAT EVEN A DOWARKET PARLOUR CAN DO. The whole time during my bridal and reception makeup SHE WAS EXTREMELY, RUDE, AGGORANT AND SELF CENTERED. I honestly wish I SAVED MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND NOT GIVEN IT TO THIS THEIF WHO SHOULD STOP RUINING BRIDES MOST IMPORTANT DAY WITH HER AWFUL ATTITUDE AND CARELESS MAKEUP LOOKS. Please brides don’t fall for the social media trap, she deletes all her negative comments about her and she hates anyone finding out how rude and mean she really is in real life. She should stop her makeup company since her skills are severely lacking and not good enough to be charging such high prices. My bridal makeup was creasing and not set properly so bad that right after my nuptials I was seeing acne and smudging. Expensive makeup is supposed to stay put for atleast 5 hours but her makeup wasn’t even good for 1 hour. She also made me pay for her driver to come to my location and pay for their lunch, thank god for my husband who is a strong man who doesn’t take any bullshit and he let her have it by criticizing the way she was treating me and her unprofessionalism. He was the one saying she should do more makeup and that I do makeup better and she should do extra since it’s my wedding, instead of keeping it SO SIMPLE AND BASIC. She only complied because A MAN told her off and that killed her rude and insincere attitude towards me. Only then did she started asking nice and praising me and taking my photo and trying to put more effort in my makeup and chunni pinning. Her hairstyle was a man that seemed quite inexperienced and COULDN’T even do Hollywood waves which is a BASIC BRIDAL LOOK NOWADAYS. What a joke, I’m sure the hair artist only made 5000 for his work and she pockets the rest. HONESTLY WHAT A GREEDY, ATTENTION-SEEKING, DISHONEST, “INFLUENCER MAKEUP ARTIST” that’s doesn’t even know how to do her job well. PLEASE LADIES, don’t buy into the social media hype and book her, you will have a bad experience and feel used and with an unsatisfactory experience. Give the smaller makeup artists a chance who will spend hours on your hair, makeup and draping and take better photos and make videos for you to make you feel special. PLEASE LADIES GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO TRULY DESERVES IT, not a wanna-be “Instagram celebrity” who genuinely cares more about fee fame and becoming famous than the quality of her work and her customers happiness. By the way before Shubhdeep comments that if I was unhappy, I should have voiced it, well listen to this, I told her MANY TIMES FOR MY WEDDING AND RECEPTION LOOK I WAS UNHAPPY WITH MY HAIR, MAKEUP AND DUPATTA DRAPING AND GUESS WHAT??! SHE SAID NO TO THE STYLES I WANTED, DID MY MAKEUP IN A RUSH, draped my DUPATTA like a child would in an annual day function with 2 SAFETY PINS WHICH WAS NOT ENOUGH. The only time she stopped her bitchy attitude towards me was when my husband was there and pushed back when she was complaining about us being 15 minutes late. My husband let her have it and also said he’s not going to pay her lunch and transport for such a short distance. That put her in her place and got her to put in more effort in my makeup look when my husband saw that she had finished a basic makeup look that only took her half and hour. He said to her that this makeup look I could have done by myself and what were we paying so much money for? Her attitude QUICKLY changed after the grilling from my husband and she started to do better eye and cheek look and offered to set my tilla and pin my hair more. I feel the other reviewers who were not listened to when they asked for certain looks since it is a special day and the professional thing would be to do in person consultations where she would do a trial after the deposit has been paid. But no she will never do that since she is a greedy and selfish “celebrity” makeup artists that has only dont the makeup of TV stars and wives of Punjabi artists. Seriously I hope someone out there considering her please TAKES SERIOUS CAUTION IN TAKING HER MAKEUP COURSES, going to her salon or booking her for bridal day. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GIVE IT TO A MORE DESERVING ARTIST THAT WILL BE NICE TO YOU, RESPOND TO YOUR QUESTIONS AND WILL WORK HARD TO MAKE SURE YOUR HAPPY AND SATISFIED

Shubhdeep took care of my make for engagement and wedding and I loved both my looks , she is outstanding at what she does , she put in so much effort to see the right hairstyle for me when we couldnt decide on one . even on my wedding day my hairdo was just out of experimentation ,I had couple of things in mind but they didnt go well with my face structure ,and when the barat was late she eased things down waited the whole time with me , amazing experienceSource

The best makeup artist in the tricity. She is amazing and I’m glad i chose her for my big day. She not only focused on my makeup but was also guiding me with skincare things. She did magic with her brushes and everybody liked it. Thank you so much shubhdeep gill ♥️

I had a very good experience. The makeup was so good that I felt beautiful in my own skin as it was so natural and subtle. Shubhdeep listens to her customers so well and put up the whole look accordingly. It was very comfortable and great experience. I am happy that I chose her for my big day.

She is not professional at all yet she acts like one. On my special day her hair guy didn’t even show up and I was late for my function. I told her what hairstyle I want and she wanted to do what she could which pissed me off. And on top she wasn’t even apologetic. She curled my hair and left it open and said “this looks good on you I think you should stick with this”. No one liked my hair or makeup and I was so disappointed. With the amount of money she charges, she is not worth it!

My experience with Shubhdeep was horrendous! She literally spoiled my mood on the most special day of my life. Her arrogance cannot be described in words here. There are many other better artists in chandigarh these days I wish there were more options when I had to choose a make up artist for my big day. I WOULD SUGGEST ALL THE ‘BRIDES TO BE’ to make a better choice since its the most special day of your life and don’t let your make up artist ruin it atleast! Choose wisely. All the best.
