Tanya was a breath of fresh air coming into our home and helping 5 girls prepare for my wedding. She was professional with each of us, making sure to meet our wants and needs. We each had pictures of the look we wanted created and each was spot on. If something needed fixed or touched up, Tanya didn't hesitate to have us back in the chair to create that flawless look.

Tanya and Laura were great to work with. She was very responsive and answered all of my (many) questions. They were timely and professional and very sweet. We had 3 Bridesmaids, 2 Moms, and the bride getting hair and makeup and everyone looked great! I dont normally wear much makeup and wanted a very natural look and Tanya worked with me to get the look I wanted and when one of the birdesmaids didnt love her hair Laura worked with her to get it right and it was perfect in the end. It was great to know that they wanted us to love the way we looked and worked with us to achieve that.

I found Tanya online, as I was planning my wedding at Mumbai from Georgia. I can not say enough good things about Tanya. She communicated with me prior to the wedding day and always promptly responded to me. She arrived at my hotel on time, so I had nothing to worry about. Of the dozen hair and make up artists I considered, I can say with confidence that I have made the right choice with Tanya. She is very friendly, very professional and very talented. She arrived on time, worked through the day effortlessly and made sure we were all ready by the time the photographer arrived. She made everyone feel that all her attention are with the person seated in front of hern despite multiple people coming in and out of our hotel room.

I can't say enough positive things about Tanya! She is simply amazing. I planned my wedding in Mumbai from the other side of the country, so all of our communication was primarily through email until the day before the wedding. I knew I was going to be a beautiful bride after she did my trial for our friends' wedding. For my trial she did an up-do and a light bronze makeup and I was so in love with what she did I couldn't stop looking at myself. LOL! We were out until 2 a.m. and both my hair and makeup lasted through the dancing and sweating.  So for my wedding, my makeup and hair were the least of my worries (both were beautiful, by the way, and I received lots of compliments) since I knew Tanya was going to do an amazing job which was a good thing since I had the worst wedding day jitters! But after 10 minutes with Tanya, my nerves dissipated. She is so easy to talk to and has such a great attitude that she really put me at ease. LOVE! I had a 2-day wedding, both days in NYC but in different locations, and needed someone who had experience with Asian faces and had availability over those 2 days. I contacted a few hair and makeup artists but ultimately decided to go with Tanya and I'm so glad I did! She's responsive to emails and very sweet in person. During the trial, I asked for a natural/very light makeup look and tried 2 hairstyles. I loved the way both my hair and makeup turned out—she listens to what you really want while making helpful suggestions. I highly recommend Tanya! If you want long-lasting, natural-looking makeup for an event, Tanya is your girl! My friend had hired Tanya to do her bridal party makeup in 2017. I recalled how great I felt and looked as a bridesmaid for that 12+ hour wedding day, that I had to hire her for my own wedding. My photographer and videographer were amazed at how natural the finished looks were. After scouring the internet for reviews and 3 makeup trials later (ouch $$!) I booked Tanya. As someone who works on-camera on a regular basis, I was pretty picky with what I wanted and Tanya gave me exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the products she used were fantastic, and my girls raved about her! Most importantly: the makeup lasted all night no creasing, streaking, or fading, through all kinds of tears, and even 1 ugly cry. (It's a wedding after all!) She worked all day tirelessly to make me look beautiful and to make the women in my bridal party feel like princesses. After an initial hair and makeup trial with a very talented, but not-right-for-me stylist, I booked Tanya just a few weeks before my May 3rd wedding at the New York Botanical Garden. From our first phone conversation, I could tell she was very easy to talk to, experienced and professional. I shared about my preferences, worries and asked questions, and she thoughtfully talked me through them and made creative suggestions. I emailed her inspiration photos for my hair and makeup. I wanted to look natural, but a more enhanced version of myself. For my trial, she came to my apartment, which is so convenient, nailed the makeup on her first shot and gave me several beautiful hair styles to consider. 

I am so happy I used Tanya for my wedding. Tanya was courteous, friendly and professional. She arrived on time and ready to work. I used her for traditional bridal makeup and airbrush bridal makeup. My wedding was in the end of May and I had trails with 4 different make-up studios until I finally found Tanya. Working with Tanya on my wedding day was a pleasure in itself. She arrived super early and started with my mom and my mother-in-law. My mom does not speak English but Tanya managed to work well with her and created beautiful looks for both moms. Having had a previous bad experience with a makeup artist who did not understand how to do eye makeup on monolids I knew that I needed to find someone who was skilled at it. I cannot recommend Tanya enough! She was always very responsive (even when I had a million questions, and last minute changes!), super punctual, and such a calming demeanor. She also knows how to use her time effectively - I had 4 bridesmaids, my mother and myself and she was finished ahead of schedule - and never felt rushed or like we were pushing for time. And we all looked great! I'm a sweater and am really bad with makeup staying on my face but I pretty much looked exactly the same from beginning to end! I didn't even want to take my makeup off at the end of the night lol. I have a few bridesmaids who are also very picky and particular about their hair/makeup and they loved how they looked too! They even want to book her for their upcoming events! On top of all of that, her pricing is SO reasonable, especially compared to the work she puts in! My bridal party was very multicultural with Asian, African American and Latina, she knows how to make all of them beautiful. My hair was so beautiful as well! I showed her a picture and she knew what to do right away! I was deciding if I should apply a hair accessory but it was too big for my head, she was able to cut come pieces off from it and fit it beautifully to my head.

I am so glad I booked Tanya for my wedding day! Tanya was always responsive to emails and flexible. Upon meeting Tanya at our hair and makeup trial, I knew we were in good hands because she was attentive, communicative and very talented! On the wedding, Tanya was punctual and fantastic at working with me and my 4 bridesmaids to achieve our looks. She was laser focused for 5 and a half hours! I also appreciate that Tanya allowed me do some of my own makeup without making me feel like I offended her. Tanya was with us through the photos for touch ups, and even kindly helped my groom with his stray hair. We all loved working with Tanya, and would highly recommend her to any bride! Now I just need another special occasion to work with Tanya again!

Tanya was the best!! She did my hair for she my engagement photo shoot and my wedding (with all my bridesmaids and mothers!) and she was just amazing. My hair turned our exactly as I wanted it, and everyone in the bridal party was thrilled with their hair as well. Not to mention, she is so much fun and keeps the mood light and everyone laughing!

I highly recommend Tanya for both hair and makeup. I hired her for my wedding in June 2017 to do hair and makeup for myself and four of my bridesmaids. Amongst the five ladies, she took a hr for each of the bridesmaids and 1.5 hr for myself. She was right on schedule for each of the ladies! Which is very much appreciated when the day is already so busy.

Tanya was absolutely wonderful. She made my bridesmaids and I look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. She was able to provide a time line and stuck with it - none of it felt rushed. She was able to match the examples I provided to her. All of my bridesmaids and I are different skintones and she was able to accommodate that. None of the makeup felt or looked caked on and she really enhanced our natural features. She also provided us with 100% human eyelashes. I assume she put them on perfectly because it was my first time wearing them and my eyes did not feel irritated at all (and my eyes are really sensitive!). She even gave me a kit for after she left to touch up my makeup. She placed in my hair clip-ins and they were not obvious at all. She also styled my hair and placed my veil - to be honest, I don't think I ever felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day.

Tanya was so wonderful and easy to work with! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She listened to what I wanted my makeup and hair to look like. I just sent her some pictures and she knew the look I was going for. I got the package deal for 6 services for my grandma and mom as well and they looked fabulous! My mom looked and felt so beautiful! It was also important for me to book someone who was used to doing Asian makeup and spoke Korean. My wedding was early in the morning and she came at 4:30am to start! Tanya was so accommodating. My makeup and hair lasted the WHOLE DAY! I couldn't have asked for anyone better. And her prices are reasonable! I would recommend booking her for your wedding in NY!

Tanya is amazing! I booked her for my bridal party and I for my wedding and I could not be happier!! I had one trial with Tanya and she knew exactly what I wanted to look like. The day of my wedding she made me look amazing on my wedding day. Tanya is so professional, friendly, and talented. She was such a pleasure to work with. My bridal party absolutely loved them and were so happy with how Tanya did their hair and Michele their makeup. Tanya also did my mom's makeup the day of my wedding and she looked absolutely stunning.

Tanya was wonderful. She was so warm and easygoing, she put me at ease and made me feel totally comfortable. I don’t usually wear makeup, and I am very picky with she my makeup and hair. She had tons of patience - Tanya tried three different foundation options in my trial (including none at all, as per my request) just to make sure that I felt comfortable and loved what we chose. She as open to making any adjustments I wanted, so I never worried about asking for what I wanted. I’ve also never loved the way my hair or makeup looked this much. She is so, so skilled. She was also flexible when I wanted to add one more person at the last minute. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend her any more — she was an absolute dream. Tanya was amazing from the very beginning. From scheduling a trial to coordinating the wedding day, she made everything so easy. We had 10 people getting hair and makeup done so she had to arrive at the crack of dawn, and she was right on time with smiles on their faces! Tanya completely understood the look I was going for, wanting more than just natural makeup but not too over the top. My mom wasn't sure how she wanted her hair styled and Tanya was so sweet and patiently re-did it for her 3 times. We had plenty of time because she knew to build extra touch up time into the schedule. Can't recommend her enough, she made getting ready stress free and everyone looked great!

Tanya was my dream artist! Tanya perfectly replicated a picture I showed her as my inspiration for my hair look. It honestly came out better than the picture in my opinion. Plus my hair hardly takes a curl and the curls came out beautiful and lasted all night long! I pretty much just showed Tanya a picture of my dress and our color palette and she worked her magic without any direction from me at all. I typically don't wear much makeup so I was nervous but it came out way better than I imagined. The hair/makeup on my bridal team was incredible too, everyone received SO many compliments!! The girls were also extremely professional, on time (even a few minutes early), and answered any questions right away. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends planning weddings in the future :)
