Hi I really want to share my experience over here. it would be quite long just a warning to brides please go through the reviews before booking for the big day . I won't blame Mrs Mehak Kwatra for this. i booked for 12thoct 2k22 for getting ready from here senior assistant .On 12th oct i reached there i got ready by one of her assistant . First point for my jooda accessory. she bought some artifical accessory which she told. one is of 2000& other is of 3000 i select the accessory of 2000 but at the time of payment She charged 3000 for that accesory I ll show you the pictures as well it wasn't worth 3k still i paid After i reached. at gurudwara sahib after 2 nd lavan my juda started getting lose in the whole lavan my csn was coming to set my earing or my jooda . & it is a emotional moment i cried all my makeup started removing i ll have the spots Till time I reallched the palace , my photoshoot started my make is all gone from my forehead due to swetting , during my dance my hair got open literally i was crying what was happening with me I was just yelling at my frnds and csn to help me out . Even I was not smiling in my picture. i just ruined my special day. My inlaws were saying ur makeup was not good its been more than 4 month but still i really feel bad nd stressed when I watch my marrige pictures .I requested pls just for ur money dont spoil somebody special day aPLZ HIRE PROFESSIONALS

I visited this place first time through Instagram and i was very much excited to get ready for party. I was about to reach on time but got late due to traffic ,narrow streets and google navigation and rerouting. At last i contact the person whom i talked day before booking, i shared my problem and ask to share location , the lady shared the location with additional comments That "Traffic to bahana hai Aap shayd ghar pe hi late hogye" Isnt it rude reply in place of sharing location Does she know from how far i am coming ? I dropped my 2 yr daughter to one realtive Does she know that i was sick? Mehak kwatra is big name in its self But such treatment getting from staff is disappointed. I will prefer to go that place which isn't have brand name like Mehak Mam, but they have ethics From further i wont come and recommend to anyone

ZERO STARS Wont recommend this place to anyone. The owner is extremely rude and will intentionally make you late by 2 or 3 hours if you show up even 20 mins late. The staff is still nice and helpful but Mehak Kawatra herself is excessively rude to her staff and the client as well. She intentionally made the bride late by 2 and half hours, highly arrogant and self obsessed lady, kept making reels for her page while the bride waited for her and missed more than half of her function. The worst experience of my life. Wont even recommend to an enemy. Dont waste your money here.

Utterly unprofessional. Sheerly Arrogant. This sums up my experience at Mehak’s. Typical example of over-promise under-deliver. The makeup they did barely lasted for an hour. Maybe due to the fact that an untrained-uninterested girl was assigned for the makeup. Also Mehak promised complementary Mom (Mother) makeup and didn’t do a thing. They just ruined the special day.

The most unprofessional and arrogant MUA ever. She overbooks herself as a result the work is not at all satisfactory. She did the bridal makeup of my bestie in just 20 mins and it barely lasted for and hour. Throughout the event we all were busy fixing the make-up. This is not how a bride wants to feel, it's her day everything should be perfect especially her entire look. Not just that we had 5 other makeups with it. We all were there by 7 sharp and they started the work around 8, exactly an hour late and we all were late for the event. When we asked them to get our work done the staff was insolent. They don't even care if someone is not satisfied with thier work. They try their level best to just do the minimal work, as I have curly hair they tried convincing me not to get a hair do, not just the staff even Mehak herself. I am there for an event , I don't want to be my usual self don't you get that.Moreover, the mother of the bride was so upset with her work that she went back home and did the make-up again. And as we were leaving we encountered that Mehak is very rude with her staff as well, I didn't even like her as a person. Lastly, when one of us post a negative review on her insta page she deleted the comment and blocked her. Even on Google and wedmegood there were no comments from a long time and soon after negative comments the 5star rating ones showered in. Brides kindly invest your money somewhere else.

My hair do looked the best and of course when mehak dolled me up i looked as beautiful as her dreamy bride . Everyone appreciated my look And honestly she is really patient as a make up artist as during my bridal make up my eyes became so watery, that too for almost 20-25 mins. I had the worst experience getting ready for my best friend’s wedding at her studio. She over booked us and started our makeup 1 HOUR late. When I asked her when will they start with our makeup and hair, she replied that she has 5 makeup artist and 5 hair stylist so I have to be patient with my turn. Seriously!! After 1 hour of waiting that’s the reply I get!! It’s not my problem that you over booked and have limited staff now. No empathy towards her client who are late for the event. On top she was shouting at her staff as well. Not really an ideal environment to be getting ready for a wedding. Anyways, as expected, we were all late for the event. My best friend was also getting ready there from Mehak. She was done in 20 mins bridal makeup. You can imagine the quality of her makeup done in just 20 mins. In 1 hour after the makeup she had visible patches on her face and the makeup was breaking out. It was horrible to see her go through this on her big day. I had heard a lot about Mehak and her work and I almost booked her for my wedding too. Thank god it didn’t come down to that. A girl needs to feel special on her big day and not rushed Or panicking because of an unprofessional makeup artist. Negative rating from my side. I won’t even recommend to an enemy. Such an arrogant lady doesn’t know how to talk to anyone!!

Arrogant, rude, money minded, high headed! I got ready from her on my wedding and I regret my choice soo much. She was overbooked and didn’t even have proper space for clients to sit. I was moved from one chair to the other. She finished my bridal makeup with 20-25 min. Did not prep the face properly, finished my base before she did my eyes, did a layer of foundation with basic eye makeup. It was NOT WORTH the money I paid. The services were terrible. Her assistant added flowers to my hair while standing near a door because there was no space left and people were walking around pushing. Just as I left and got to the palace (even before the ceremony) I saw a huge patch on my face and got freaked out. Her makeup had come off (obviously coz sh didn’t prep or finish properly). She was one bride off to another. I also had 5 party makeups with her for my family which were terrible as much. My sister had patches on her face after 10 min, they had to remove and redo her makeup and she was told that she has a bad skin. My mom’s makeup was the worse, she went home and removed it and did it all herself again.. she was that pissed. Any 3rd parlor down the street could’ve done a better job than her. And her arrogance does not make it easy either. If you’re a bride and want to feel special on your big day. Chose someone else. While getting me ready she told me how she knows that brides just freak out and make it hard for her and later when they’re ready just wait around her studio. Well ofcourse its everyday for you but for a bride it’s once in a life deal. I hate that I had to fix my own makeup within an hour of leaving her studio. It doesn’t take 20-25 min to do a proper bridal makeup. She rushed through it coz they started my makeup an hour late. I was asked to be there at 7 so I can be ready by 9 and I was there at 7, they started the work around 8:10 and ofcourse I was late to my own event. When asked by my friend she very rudely replied back to her telling how busy she is. Yeah is that our fault that you overbooked yourself.? Oh yes, and her assistant told me that the party makeup does not include foundation or glitters. LOL Future brides save yourselves and don’t go over her insta feed like I did lol. I saw the other brides distressed that day too. Wouldn’t wish this to anyone on their wedding day.

As a bride I felt so important to look charmig in everyone's eye so was a little worried about how will i end u I was highly satisfied with the professionalism in the work as se used good quality products.

Dear community! Please be aware of this fraudulent MUA. I was trying to receive an offer from her and she was only telling me the price. When asked about how the process goes or what products she used she ignored all my questions for multiple days. When again asking if she has availabilities she would answer and urge me to book her. I asked her for professionalism and if she could please answer my questions. Upon this request she got really rude and started telling me how busy she is? Excuse me if you too busy for your customers, I don‘t think how to run a business, because the customers are your key asset and their word of mouth. So please be aware before booking her! Much love

I decided to go to Mehak for my wedding day. But i must say i had very bad experience with her. I decided to go to Mehak for both my cocktail and the wedding. I decided to go with her on the basis of her work as seen on instagram, a review from a friend and the fact that she was really friendly over the phone, it was reassuring. For cocktail, I felt that my face and hair were overdone, as opposed to what I asked for which was classy and simple. I had to tone down the makeup with a wipe before going to the party. For the wedding, she did a remarkable job on me, I still get compliments. However, I will always remember her as the lady who made me cry on my wedding day. She was so rude and arrogant, it came as a shock to me. I would recommend her for wedding makeup and hope that she does not make any more brides cry!

To sum up , Mehak and her team were phenomenal! I had come across Mehak’s work on instagram and loved the looks on girls. I had put my blind faith in her work and it completely paid off!. I have received so many compliments on my hair and makeup for my all the events . she made me look even more mesmerizing. Mehak was also extremely flexible as I confirmed my day-of schedule, allowing me to adjust as necessary . It was my sister in laws Shagan function. My sister in law, her mother and I made the mistake of going to this lady for make up. She was obnoxiously rude as she made many personal remarks at all of us. Hard for us to fathom why people tolerate her behaviour. Her make up made us look like wedding cakes! and we had to deal with a rude ill mannered person! Absolute nightmare! definitely not a nice way to start your shagan function.

Tanya went to her for her wedding and Mehak worked wonders. She had a peachy glow and looked every bit of a radiant bride. Though Tanya wasn't supposed to go to her for her Anand Karaj makeup (due next day after the wedding) , she really loved Mehak's work and decided to go to her for Anand Karaj makeup as well.

Mehak knew that I was a no-makeup person and therefore could not carry off any bold/blushy looks. She kept my makeup to minimal and focused on giving me a dewy natural look which I was more comfortable pulling off !
