Merrygohearts Weddings

Disappointed by Merrygohearts I’m writing this review after 9 months of my wedding because even today when mother called she said in a very disappointed tone “I rechecked your album today also once again… but I was so disheartened to see the photos… what have they done”. I booked the budget version of merrygohearts which is picturevow with high expectations. They agreed to cover my wedding events - Main wedding, Reception, Sangeet night for 1.6 L. For a slightly upper middle class member like me it was a bit on the higher end. Yet for the artistic heart in me I agreed. Now I’ll list the good and the disappointing experiences I had. Good side: 1. The team was very punctual and communicated well. 2. The candid photos in daylight was very nice - I even messaged the candid photographer congratulating him for his work. Good things should be appreciated. 3. The wedding film did a very good job. Now let me walk u through the worst experiences I had. 1. FIRSTLY - Terrible traditional photos..Just terrible!!!!!!!! I tried my best to make them reedit the pics… but raw pics itself were terrible and pooorly lit and oreiented. I felt sooooo bad and more than me my family was disappointed. They were eagerly waiting for the traditional photos. They wanted to see who all came for the wedding the crowd and all. But tell u what? It was a mess. The photos and the traditional video… I said the same wordings to them - the video felt like a compilation of random mobile videos taken by random family member. There was no structure. There was no stability… My parents called me and said… they are so sad after seeing the video and do not want to see again. I reported the same to them and they said they will re-edit and send. But it NEVER CAME. The wedding album… yes Inselected the photos but again traditional pics fully dark. People are in dark. Very poor lighting. So we are planning to contact some other local photography team again spend some money and seek help if they can by any chance re-edit the pics and make it better. Idk if it’s possible again. 2. So album and traditional photos and videos - LOST completely… Now talking of flexibility. Whatever our request is … answer is NO… They are very very strict. I think yet I have managed to convince them to be flexible. Idk. We are hiring the team to be our friends for the wedding. As it’s the bride and groom’s special day… small flexibility will only raise their value… Instead of becoming tooo rigid with their rules. 3. Delayed deliverables… and multiple incidents where they were too strict and we were really stressed. Im tooo tired to write more. 4. They just click click click. No suggestion on posing, lighting. How far being a bride Incan guide them? They just robotically click click click. I was really disappointed. I raised this point also to the team. So my advice is yes u can contact them if u are planning to get married in daylight. And yes u can contact them for candid photos. But pleaseeeee never trust their traditional photos and videos especially at auditoriums and at night. It’s not worth ur time and money. U can contact ur local photographer he will do genuine job and will deliver u more that u ask also!!!! - I learned this after my wedding.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this wedding photography team. It has now been over 3 years since my wedding, and I still have not received my full set of photos or albums. This is completely unacceptable for such an important life event. Despite multiple follow-ups, messages, and attempts to get a clear update, I have either been ignored or given vague promises that were never fulfilled. Wedding photography is not just another service — it captures once-in-a-lifetime memories. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic communication shown here is very frustrating and honestly disrespectful to clients. At this point, I cannot recommend this photographer to anyone. If you are considering booking them, please think twice and ensure you have clear written timelines and accountability in place. I sincerely hope they take responsibility and resolve this situation, but based on my experience so far, I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

IT’s been already more than 2 years, I havent got my albums , My editied wedding film, Edited photos. I already left a review in google no one reached out to me and i dont know what else to do. Thing twice and work with professionals who dont only takes money but also gives you deliverables

We had a great experience with Merrygohearts at our wedding in July. Their team was professional to work with and did a great job capturing our special moments. We researched quite a bit and went with Merrygohearts for our wedding ceremonies primarily because of their photography work. Their photos, candid & traditional videos come out really well. They looked very creative and modern and were competitive price-wise. As we continued to work with them, we found them to also be very friendly and patient. We had some additional events than originally planned and they were nice enough to accommodate it. They were also extremely professional from the start, and also during the events in terms of coverage, punctuality. Our photos and videos came out better than expected! While some folks had issues with timing, we got our photos and videos as committed. We, as well as our families were very pleased with the results. Special shout out to Sandeep and Vinay who did an amazing job helping us record these memories! Thank you Merrygohearts!

Avoid them for sure. It’s going to be almost 3 years and there is no sign of our album or final videos as initially discussed. If you’re willing to wait a decade or more, go ahead and sign up for these guys. They pocket your money, click pretty good photos and leave it at that. Pathetic customer service. Pity we signed up for this. We have followed up multiple times and are fed up. They seem to work selectively and have the least decency about providing a response and firm commitment. We have such wonderful memories from our wedding but sadly nothing physical to cherish them thanks to these photographers. There are dime a dozen options, those who will be far more professional and invested in your special day, work with them instead.
