As we got their reference from one of our friend and we contacted them for our family wedding ceremony in Goa. When we first decided to host a wedding in Kolkata, we were unsure of almost everything as we stay in Bangalore and due to Covid it would’ve been difficult to coordinate with all the vendors from here. So we started exploring our options for wedding planners. Momento Events was the first one and had great reviews on WMG app. So I contacted them and from there to booking, the process and the clarity with which they planned everything for us was amazing. They were even considerate about Covid protocols and helped us put a clause that in events of cancellation or rescheduling, they’ll cooperate with us. Plan and pricing: Since they plan everything needed for the wedding and engage with multiple vendors, you don’t get a bifurcation of the cost involved but having said that the package itself was so neatly done that we couldn’t question the pricing at all. Venue (10/10): I don’t think we as bride and groom would ever have found out such a beautiful venue. It was the best decision and I immediately said yes to it when I saw the pictures and reviews of the wedding. Photographers (9/10): I was super skeptical about this since I wanted to hire some famous ones from Instagram as photography was my main concern. But the team was extremely talented and super nice. I used to get so impatient all the time but they would just not give up and would keep encouraging me to take more shots. Food (10/10): The spread for all the events was curated so delicately and each of my opinion and need was taken into consideration. The chef was amazing and would always give me ideas as to how to choose the best dishes with no compromises on quality. Decor (8/10): Since we went through wedding planners, it’s better to choose setups that they’ve already done because that way you are sure about what up you’ll finally get. But I did have some extra requests for customisation which the team did a fantastic job at. Makeup artist (7/10): I found this average but because I needed very simple makeup, I was okay with the final look. But they took really long for the makeup. So this was something I thought could’ve been better. Mehendi (7/10): We had booked for 15 guests but got only 2 mehendi artists so it was a bit time taking, the process. Also, the mehendi didn’t come out quite dark for me, but that could also be because I had my haldi function right after that. Hospitality (7/10): They made beautiful itinerary cards for the guests and baggage tags. Each room was supposed to have their own goodie baskets which was again beautiful. One major miss was that they did not place the itinerary card or goodie baskets in the groom side rooms and we found this out only after the wedding. Moreover, since the two stays (bride and groom) were far apart, the groom side folks did not get any hospitality staff for them and this could have been managed better. But I understand that these small misses can happen and luckily these were minimised because of the Momento team. :) Overall, Aniket and his entire team had been super helpful and understanding, they made sure that they were always on their toes to help us organise such a successful event. I would a 100% recommend them to anyone in future. Kudos to the entire team and I can’t thank you enough for giving me the wedding of my dream and making me feel like a princess for the entire event.

We have done 2 events with momento, one was in ITC royal. I think they are fabulous and an emerging star in nea future. Best part about them is they treat people like their family and give what they promised. Highly recommendable.

We go for an event manager or event management team so that we don’t have to go through the hassle of looking into each and every detail. But unfortunately the experience with Momento was not the same. Once they received their advance money they forget about your event and will only come back 2-3 days before your event if you don’t contact them. The tone completely changes the way Aniket speaks to his clients once he gets his money. Before giving the money we used to say our requirements are like this that and all, and he would just nod his head saying Yes Yes and don’t worry you will get more than expected, then his team will show you some fancy stuffs on their laptop, during that discussion we clearly told them what we want and also our budget. They will send you a pdf with the services provided and when you ask doubts or questions regarding few points mentioned they will always say it’s just a prototype actually it will be even more grand than this! But nothing like that! Anyways We made changes in the pdf well before according to our requirements and customs in our tradition. These changes were made before the payment. To my surprise when I called him regarding a service already mentioned in the “PDF” - which is their bible! He shouts and says we are not providing any such service this was not discussed that was not discussed,He shouted in such a way that I thought may be really we never discussed about it, but anyways that was a mandatory thing and asked him to please include it if at all i have missed stating that, right after the call when I checked the pdf .. Damn it was there written! And this fellow shouts in such a way that any person will agree to his false confidence! When we sent him the screenshot of the pdf , you know what he says???.. “it’s not our pdf.. we never offer this service.. you are sending someone else’s pdf!” I was literally shocked that this guy on whom we are relying on the wedding which is just 4 days away he is not even aware of the services he has promised us for the lum sum of the amount they took before hand! When I shared him the whole pdf with his logo on that then he is just like ok we will do this. I never knew if you need an extra bulb also it should be mentioned in that PDF!! Like are you kidding me.. if we are supposed to bother about every tiny bit of arrangement then why did we hire an event manager, which doubles your budget and your worries also in this case! Don’t fall for the fancy pics of their previous events. My wedding at least happened successfully thanks to the venue i have choosen “Country Roads” kolkata and the owner Mr. Nayak, he and his team were so cooperative towards everything all the problems this guy created, This resort people helped us to solve it without charging a single penny extra. Aniket is a selfish guy he is just bothered about his money from beginning to end. Not only this there were numerous such instances throughout the whole event. Words will false short if I mention everything here. We will always regret this decision of ours of going for Momento events. We were more than tensed through out the whole event! Please don’t fall for false reviews or so as we did! Aniket is not fit for being an event manager! Marriages are a life time event for people, where everyone will already be tensed. In such situations an angry headed guy like Aniket can give you more trouble. A big NO for this!
