I had a very disappointing experience with this makeup artist for my reception look. Despite clearly showing her a reference picture and requesting a dewy, natural finish, the final result was completely different. She didn’t stick to the brief at all. What made the experience worse was her lack of professionalism. She was given four hours to complete my makeup, yet still struggled to finish on time. Throughout the session, she made several inappropriate and unprofessional comments, which added to the stress on what was supposed to be a special day. She also brought one assistant to handle the makeup and saree draping for my mom and sister — a task that clearly required more skilled person than the one she got. The results were equally unsatisfactory. Our makeup did not match our skin tones or blend with the rest of our bodies, making the overall look feel unpolished and poorly executed. Given the lack of skill, time management, and professionalism, I would not recommend her services. This was not the standard anyone would expect for such an important occasion.

Overall excellent experience. I was not expecting this good makeup. But she made my day. Just loved the way she groomed me beautifully

I am a person with SEVERE acne and acne marks. I do not do makeup at all and I was very apprehensive about my biggest day with the skin I have struggled with all my life. Also, tragedy struck 3 days before my planned wedding day, my grandma passed away and my wedding got postponed. The next date we decided on, my initially booked MUA was not available. Mousumi Di then came a blessing. We got in touch and I sent her my face pictures immediately because I wanted to give her a heads up on how bad the acne marks are. On the wedding day she showed up exactly on the decided time to start her magic. My room was full with my friends with a lot of chitter chatter and I am someone who talks a lot. She struggled with the bunch of mad women in my room, scolded me very cutely to stop talking and gave me an idea to sip my gin through a straw. She definitely struggled with my skin, but she did not give up. She went on with her magic and turned me into this bride that I could have never imagined. Every single person said I looked gorgeous and now every time I see my pictures, I see a beautiful gorgeous bride who is beyond my imagination. Her working partner who draped my saree and did my hair was brilliant too. She improvised and helped through and through.
