Namrata is an excellent and knowledgeable artist. As a bride to be, it becomes difficult to choose the right makeup artist because there's so much you don't know. But the day I spoke to her on call for the first time, she clarified all my doubts and on top of that she gave me pointers which i didn't even ask for. And at that time I hadn't even booked her! Throughout the journey she gave me skincare tips which worked wonders on my skin and I was glowing on the d-day :) Her skill and her heart both are equally good. She does amazing eye makeup and very quickly too. She also has all the top brands in her makeup kit which she won't think twice before using on you because that's how dedicated she is. Her team and she are very punctual and were always present on time at the venue. I had a fun experience working with them and all are very friendly and polite. On my bhaat kapor day, unfortunately a new draping/hairstylist was about to come but due to some issues she couldn't make it. Namrata di did all the work herself - draping, hairstyle and her magical makeup. She's an all rounder. I wouldn't think twice about booking her for any event in the future.

I had a wonderful experience with Namrata. She is a highly skilled professional who truly understands the modern-day Indian bride. She did my make-up for all the key events (pre-wedding photoshoot, aiburobhat, wedding & reception) and she delivered a unique look for each. Importantly, a few months before the wedding, she had given me a skin care regimen, which helped me improve and prep my skin running up to the wedding. Namrata has built an efficient and trained team to support her and all of them work in unison to deliver flawless looks. For my pre-wedding photoshoot, I went for a traditional Bengali look during the day and an evening gown look at night. Namrata (make up) and Pinki di (hair and saree draping) created a flawless look which transitioned seamlessly from morning to night. The make-up (smokey eyes and subtle lips and messy bun) was so impeccable and had set so well, that I did not even need to touch it up as the photoshoot progressed. For my aiburobhat, I went for a modern-day belted saree look with shimmery eyes and messy bun, which was also delivered to perfection. The hair with light pink roses, created by Pinki di was particularly commendable that day. For my wedding day, I went for a traditional Bengali bride look. I also got party makeup for my sister and mother, and they were both very happy with their looks. Lastly, on the reception day, we went for a high glam look with a shimmery saree, smokey and shimmery eyes, and hair extensions. The team wasn’t good at all, one didn’t even come to service. Working with Namrata has been an amazing experience. Being someone who goes all day and everyday without an iota of makeup except sunscreen, I had my reservations against the concept of dolling up - even for my wedding. Had there been an option of giving negative stars I would angrily give that. She is just a very big facade in the name of creating a perfect bride but ruins their big day SPECTACULARLY. She is THE WORST makeup artist along with her ENTIRE BULLSHIT TEAM. Had I seen the google reviews I wouldn’t have ever booked her for my wedding day, I look at my wedding pictures and I feel like suing her and her entire team for ruining my entire look that was well decided in the trial and my husband will be an witness to that as I had taken him along with me. I had done booking for my mom too. Cutting to the actual story - I booked her for 15th December, 2023 from WedMeGood and she pretended to be very good at her work and talks so sweetly but it’s all just a trap. Prior to booking her I was promised a trail where the final look would be decided for my wedding and I was happy with such an arrangement. My trial was 1 month before the wedding and with many trail and error we finally reached the desired wedding look and I was asked to take a picture and show it to her so that she can recreate the same thing along with the desired hairstyle. The actual Big Day story (15.12.2023) - My booking was at 3pm as I had to reach my venue by 6pm. The hair artist (doesn’t deserve to be called an artist with such unprofessional and bad work) came 1.5 hours late and started late inspite of me being ready well and before 3pm. The hair artist name - Putul. The hair was being done and at 5-5:30 she got a call from Namrata that she is running late and that my base to be done by the hair artist itself. Didn’t use the branded products that were promised. I was very firm about not making a winged liner for my wedding but the eyeliner artist she bought did this. I was very clear to Namrata about not using glitters on my eyes and it was well decided in the trial. Namrata reached 30 minutes before I had to reach the venue, she came and applied glitters made my eyes looks greyish and then the heavily winged liner. I didn’t even have the time to change the look as my hair was half done, makeup a disaster. Namrata took 10 minutes to do my entire face and left. The mangtika she bought was the absolute worst, I wanted to just rip it off my head and gone without it. She didn’t even show or consult me before buying the mangtika. My dad started calling as the guest have already started coming and I was running late. The hair artist was meanwhile doing my mom’s makeup when Namrata was doing my makeup and the she didn’t even care to give one more artist when she knew the situation that one person cannot manage two people on time after coming 1.5 hours late. I was late to the venue by 30 minutes and that too my hair had no flowers that was supposed to be used, no veil, no mukut. All these things was carried to my venue and on stage some roses was clipped on to my hair in an untidy way. The veil was placed somehow which was again adjusted by my mom as it opened. I couldn’t hate Namrata and her team more for ruining my Big Day so spectacularly and God will do justice to her as she believes so much in him. After confronting her she didn’t have the courtesy to apologize and rather stuck to her nonsense of it’s the best she has ever done. My foot!! I would’ve done better makeup than her. Such shitty people alive on the face of earth. I can’t stop being furious about booking her. I hate the wedding pictures as I got nothing as I had decided in the trial. It’s just disappointing and infuriating. Bunch on incompetent people! Should’ve seen the google reviews as those people faced the same issues that I faced. More reliable than WedMeGood. And I haven’t lied, it was wrong to share my problems with you and it’s a lesson I learnt but your work is absolutely shit along with the professionalism you are so proud of which was nowhere to be seen. And whoever has problem with your work and raises concern isn’t a LIAR. Learn to accept your mistakes and the promises that you fail to deliver

I booked Namrata for my Sangeet and wedding functions atleast 6 months in advance and had paid 50% at the time. Although she is good at what she does but is extremely unprofessional in terms of time management. She was supposed to be there for my wedding makeup 4 hours before the Baarat time (6:30 PM). She overbooked and did not show up to my hotel until after 5:30 PM which made a cascading effect on all events on my wedding day. The Baarat had to be delayed, the wedding ceremonies shortened and the events were completed outside of mohurat, all because of her tardiness. Even after when she arrived she had no remorse of being late or even uttered the word sorry. Really terrible experience for me on my wedding day, I would request all to think twice before booking her as your MUA for your wedding.

Namrata’s Studio was an integral part of my wedding last week and I am extremely grateful to her for making me look and feel exactly the way I wanted to as a bride. M dr.savita.i had booked namrata for bridal make up for 27th nov 2023 at 1.30 pm.The unprofessional behaviour of the team ,staff and all the people involved is unacceptable.Firstly they told me 4 people will come including manager moumita and camera man,make up artist khushbu and one more girl.however only two people came.The time was clearly mentioned to be 1.30 pm sharp as my wedding was about to begin at 5pm and ihad to be ready for the photoshoot at 4.the mua khushbu came at 3.30 pm.and she came alone..the hairstylist came at 4.30 pm.they were late by more than 2 hours .I have the screenshot of the WhatsApp comm also. To add to my misery, the mua khushbu did not use any of the professional make up brands as promised.She made my skin tone darker than before..she was in a hurry as she had other appointments also and ican tell everyone with utmost confidence that she knows nothing about make up for the bride.she didnot use any colour corrector and after I told her that she was so late and now she is in a hurry to pack up and she could not do my make up properly,she got offensive. I wiped my entire make up off.They took 18k for my mother and my makeup.They didn't get me or my mother ready The lehenga,choora, Jewellery,chunri everything was worn by me and my mom alone..The draping artistcum hairstylist was supposed to be there but she came around 4.30 pm and could not even drape my mother's saree.by that time I had already gotten ready by myself..They were unprofessional, late,lacked team efforts as there was no team andhad horrible skills. We complained about this, she changed the makeup person for the wedding day experience on wedding day makeup: Wedding day makeup was more horrible than the previous day, the team was late, makeup didn't even last even an hour, the person who was supposed to dress me up left early ( i was promised before the event that I ll have a dedicated team), he ruined my shawl and went away in a hurry. pls beware before taking her services, if you don't want your special day to get ruined, then you have to hire someone else. edit 1: she is responding, she doesn't do groom makeup, such a lie. i would never think about getting a make up service from you. Instead of accepting and improving her services she is now lying.

A BIG ZERO TO THIS LADY. she has the power to make or break the day for a Bride and she definately will make you regret all your life each time you see your pictures and that blotchy patchy face. ever since i contacted her she was all sugarcoating and boasting her work and team. we fixed a time for 9am and on the D day i told her if you could come a little later as the ready time would be very early. however she said no she cant and she will win the project( i dont know why). Namrata was suppose to reach by 10am and te was suppose to come by 9.30am. however the hairstylist khushboo called me around 10am asking for my location and Namrata herself came approx 11.30am .. and claiming that we cant push the time any further we are making time adjustments for you. BUT THE FACT IS THEY WERE LATE BEYOND MY REQUEST. anyhow namrata came before her team arrived and told me to give her towel and wet tissues. the basic every MUA carries with herself. she carried some packets with her instead of her Vanity and said she seperates every kit for every bride and mine was different. she BOASTS way too much about her products which are just some products she keeps handy i saw. she applied one cream without CTM and serum or anything though i repeatedly told her my skin concerns as i am am airhostess myself and know what skin needs is hydration. then she straight away started with some concealing and base and dabbed the damn sponge on my face as if beating me. no eye primer no colour correcting no foundation matching.. her whole eye make up and base was done within 40minutes. NOW THE MAIN PART all this 40minutes she was panicking and screaming and fighting on call with some Raghu and team as she forgot her main pallette bag in the previous bride house. and she kept interrupting the whole makeup with calls and stressimg and giving negative vibes and i was consoling her. in this she dint contour my face. she dint USE SETTING SRPAY( WHICH SHE CLAIMED IS NOT REQUIRED FOR HER BULLSHIT BASE). she left immediately in that panic and rush doing just a basic party base and eyemakeup which looked good for that time. SHE CLAIMED HER MAKE UP IS 28HRS proof. bullshit it dint even last the 2hr meanwhile her hungover team arrives just did my lashes and the hairstylist just could not even give me a blow dry look she kept using her straightner and could not even give me definite curls. namrara is unprofessional , not punctual, take 12brides in a day and does not give her best to single one as she is stressed to finish her day and skipping to the next. forgettng that its such an important and special day for each bride. MY MAKE UP STARTED MELTING WITHING 2HRS. by the time i reached the church my whole make up was dark melting and over. each picture even im dslr could not hide how utter nonsense it was. i regret spoiling my such a big day because of her. she only cares about her selfish needs. taking up uncountable projects and not justifyng any.. atleast for me she messed it up and if you read other reviews they too have the same comments. she also challenges that her producys dont need setting spray when the world's top most mua uses it. in her rush and panic she made me also forget and i dint mentuon to use the same. i dint know in 15k she will give me a bear minimum and spoil my face. i wouldv rather booked 30k and get the best atleast who gives their 100% and uses their talent to make a Bride's day. kindly dont hire her. she will make you feel you got her late and she will also not accept her fault. end of the day your special day you will look the worst. she also said you mustv done something to your face thats why you your make up got spoilt. first i thought it was so nice.. by the 2hr everybit of the make up was gone. which bride has time to even drink water that il fidget with my face. and why should i even hire her if i have to do somethng with the make up. for Namrata you are just another client she needs to get over with. please kindly dont hire her and jack your day.

Namrata is a highly skilled makeup artist whom I had the good fortune of finding through Wedmegood. She knows her craft like no one else and will keep your requests and desires in mind before settling on the look for your big day. What I liked the most about Namrata was that she wasn’t pushy like other MUAs can be and didn’t try to force her ideas on me. She kept my wishes in mind while gently guiding me towards the best look keeping each occasion in mind. She also does a trial run with you before finalizing the look. I had initially booked her service only for my wedding day, but after talking to her I was so pleased with her behaviour, approach, and demeanour that I booked her for all my other wedding events as well. Last but not the least, (probably the most important point for me), Namrata is an absolute darling. There are very few people I have met who can make you feel instantly comfortable from the very first conversation (that too over the phone). She is such a sweetheart and makes you feel like a part of her family. Talking to her, it felt like I have known for ages and not just mere weeks. I approached her with just a vendor-client mentality in mind, but came away with a friend for life. While this might not be direct testament to her skills, I feel it’s a crucial part of the entire experience of working with her.

Namrata did such a great job at miss you bridal look. She was on time, and took into account all the details we had discussed before my big day. It appeared that my look mattered to her as much as it mattered to me. I asked her that I wanted a very subtle nude look, and everything should be very light, and she did my makeup beautifully. She is a very kind hearted person and such a pretty soul to talk to. She did not take much time. The entire look was done in 2.5hours and it gave me enough time for my bridal shoot. Loved the experience of the bridal makeup. My venue was little bit far from the main city of Kolkata, but she didn’t complain about it at all. I love that about her. Namrata was recommended by a very close friend of mine when I was looking for a makeup artist in Kolkata and since then she personally connected with me to understand my expectations and how I want to look on the big day.
