Dear Saravanan, I would like to take a moment to appreciate your help in my daughter’s wedding. With no prior experience in wedding preparations you were my goto person for all the arrangements. You had coordinated all the events in the 5 day wedding. Let it be a basic requirement of renting an urli for Haldi function or the most important dinner menu for the reception you have shared us an variety of options and were always open for customization to our ideas. This is something which we usually don’t get with other wedding planners as most of them would be rigid with the choices and customization would be mostly unavailable. A special shout out to the food catering team the food was amazing and tasted heavenly, the way the food was prepared and served with a lot love depicts your professionalism. The photography team had all the events and moments covered in a beautiful way. The way the photographer had guided the audience in group photos are commendable. I read somewhere that back in the days a whole village would come together to get two people married, not only because it's custom but also because there is SO MUCH WORK. It's been over 10 days since our wedding and we didn't have a village of people to help us but we had Oh Yes Events, instead. :) I still remember, when the dates were nearing and we as a couple were frantically looking for event planners to help us plan our big day, we found a few on the internet. Without exaggeration, my experience with almost all of them were underwhelming. Some of them were apparently too busy to even speak to us over a call. They would simply want us to text our requirements and delayed unhelpful replies would follow. Others would only talk about our budget and try to figure out the amount we were going to dole out and see if they could extract some more. Mostly they were all the same. It was painful and frustrating to deal with these people because all we wanted was for someone to help us figure things out. I think we were 3 months away from the wedding date and we didn't even have a venue bcs the venue we booked, cancelled on us that evening. We were desperate and I remember us ponding about postponing the wedding date. That's when we found Oh Yes Events. Saravanan was the first Event Planner to start sharing a list of venues with me without getting into the cost discussions and without requiring any advance amount. He gave me feedback and details of some of the venues he had already worked with. He literally assured me that we would get a good venue and there was no need to worry. :) Saravanan listened. He understood the situation. He was patient. And he didn't shy away from helping. He was prompt in response. He would listen to our ideas, give us new ones. He is humble, friendly, and a courteous person to with. If we were going to trust someone with our wedding, it was going to be this man! It was a hectic night, but I know we had finally found our event planner. That in itself was a huge relief!! :) And everything from that point forward started to fall in place for us. :) Oh Yes Events were complete professionals through-and-through. And I swear, they are the easiest and friendliest of people to work with. Ours was strictly a budget wedding. We wanted to make it an intimate affair with only people who really and truly mattered to us. There were so many iterations, thus. Saravanan was cooperative through it all. Right from Food, Photography, Decor, Seating, Music, Garlands, Melam, etc... Oh Yes Events took care of it all, not just for one event, but for two. What's more? The decor turned out to be prettier and and more elaborate than I had expected. On the morning of my wedding day, right after make up, at about 6 AM, I remember feeling absolutely elated about the decor I saw right outside. Saravanan was standing there in supervision, I bellowed his name, made a thumbs-up with both my hands shot in the air, and cried "Great Job, Saravanan!!" If you've read so far, you know who your wedding planner is too. :)

Best decision ever! To trust a team to take care of the whole decor part without nagging and following up in literally anything, OhYes team was exactly that! Super professional, very skilled, easy to go team. What do you ideally want when you hire somebody to take care of decor? Share design or ask them for suggestions, then implementation and that’s it, right? But how often you get it? Trust me, having over 50 events in last eight years, this was the first ever team to implement the thumb rule. I didn’t have to follow up on anything, for all the five events we had for the wedding, they were ready before time! We were scared because of weather condition, but to implement last moment solution and still let the decor be as planned, kudos! The whole team is a bliss to work with! And if I have not used it before, they are super professional with work. There was documentation of everything we spoke about since day1. As the name suggest, whatever we ask for the answer will be "oh yes"!! The hall that booked didn't allow any kind of fireworks or smokes, but they took care of co-ordinating with the hall management and got that done for our wedding and it was one of the key arrangements that made our wedding evening memorable!! They went up and beyond to meet the expectations. One unique thing is that they didn’t shy away from sharing their perspective which gave us more ideas and made the event more fun. My journey with oh yes events (Sarvanan) started 5 months before my D-day. To sum up in one sentence - “They are the best”. During the times of Covid and unforeseen situations they were so many changes. They were a blessing in disguise and they were so flexible. Sarvanan and his team is the best to work with. When our 6 years love story got upgraded to its next level, we planned for our dream destination wedding in Chennai. Still we had so many budget issues.
