Pervez and his team were with my husband, Bobby and I in Mexico for our Indian, Persian wedding festivities for almost 4 days! When you think of a Photographer and/or videographer, you think of them capturing the memories so we can look back on our wedding in the future, But PTAUFIQ made my wedding MAGIC in the PRESENT! Because of COVID I could only invite a tenth of my original Big Fat Indian Wedding guest list. Pervez offered to do the whole thing on ZOOM and because of his AMAZING QUALITY, CRISPNESS AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL, all of our guests told us they felt they were with us on our big day, and nothing could be more important to us. Needless to say, Pervez's teams photos and videos are just Jaw dropping. They captured love, energy, fun and family in every shot. They are in the business of weddings so not only did they take pictures, but they guided us on when to do lost of wedding-y things we wouldn't have know otherwise: they are super knowledgeable about different cultural nuances - both Christian and Muslim, and Indian and American traditions. We first met Nicole at Kunal’s brother’s wedding and decided to try them out for our winter pre-wedding shoot in New Hampshire about 10 months before our wedding. Since our wedding was to happen in India and we were getting recommendations from our wedding planner there, we didn’t actually commit to PTaufiq photography right off the bat for the wedding itself, but the moment we met Nicole, Pervez and their kids in NH for the shoot, we knew that nobody else can be as crazy and passionate both about their work and family as Pervez and Nicole! We reached NH late in the night with the idea that the photoshoot would happen the next morning, but they were ready to start shooting that very night and already had ideas for it (it was almost like they read our minds for the smoke bombs and had them ready even before we told them about it). Pervez literally almost got run over by a car on an isolated bridge at 3am taking an epic pic of us! Not only did they travel all the way to India to capture every event of ours, they had regular conversations with us in the months before to get to know us better as a couple, about our wedding theme, outfits etc and to understand our vision such that they could make it personal in every way possible. They were also extremely accommodating throughout, for instance they agreed for an impromptu photoshoot in India a few days before the wedding and fulfilled our crazy last minute request for a pre-wedding video to be played during our reception. We literally completed the shoot for that on our mehendi day and Pervez put together our pre-wedding video overnight. We also really liked their openness to our feedback during the editing process, such that we could combine their creativity with our personal touch. PTaufiq team has this unique sense of space, time, body language and emotions, which enables them to capture the best angles at the most opportune moments. Pervez would also never fail to make you laugh through the shooting process and Nicole with her grace, elegance and modeling background helped us a lot with couple portraits (which we never thought we could look good in, we both tend to usually only like the more candid photos). Nicole also gave me the best advice on the morning of our wedding, while I waited for the baraat to come; I could then completely calm down and spend the time reflecting on our love and life together without stressing about anything else. That truly made me deeply enjoy every moment. They also sneakily recorded us after the reception for an interview and the words that were spoken then became one of the most beautiful memories for us as part of our wedding trailer. We ​came across ​P​Taufiq Photography​ on Thumbtack and met with Pervez on a weekday night at 9 pm at a Dunkin' Donuts! And we were surprised to see how energetic he was!! He asked us about Our story and what our vision was for our wedding photos. It seemed as if we have known each other for a really long time. Pervez was very understanding of how special this event was for us. We decided to do a pre-wedding photoshoot in June. And even though it was 100 degrees that day, we couldn't believe how lovely the shots were that he took. Our wedding was in July and we made a schedule for each day for all the four days. Pervez & Nicole and their teams were always on time and never frowned on staying a little later than the hours we decided on. They covered events on both side of the families. The best part was that both of them understood the traditions and the emotions that come along. And they communicated with our families very well. It felt like that they were a part of our family as they were laughing and shedding tears like everyone else. They captured all the special moments so beautifully that it is hard to explain in words. All the pictures are just so perfect. And the day he sent us our wedding trailer, we couldn't believe how amazing his work was and how he captured every single detail. Pervez and his team were AWESOME. From the moment we met Pervez, my wife and I knew he was going to be our wedding photographer. In the months leading up to the wedding, we chatted quite a bit and he was very accommodating to our busy schedules. He was very honest with us and had great ideas for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Pervez, Nicole, and the whole team were nothing short of AMAZING. Even though we were running behind on schedule, he helped keep us calm and collected. I may not have been the most accommodating when it came to time on the wedding day, but Pervez utilized whatever time he had to take some of the most gorgeous shots I've ever seen. His team was great to work with as well. They were helping everywhere from grabbing water for my wife and I, to helping other guests during cocktail hour, directing foot traffic, etc. His team went above and beyond to help us on our wedding day. Our bridal and groom's parties enjoyed working with Pervez and his team as well. Throughout the day, Nicole also helped Stephanie and I with our garments and poses. She was awesome to work with and had some pretty awesome poses for the different shots. Everyone from both sides of the family were in awe of the whole team. It was a pleasure working with PTaufiq Photography to capture moments from our wedding as well as other events surrounding the same. We were planning a week long South Indian wedding in under 6 weeks and were looking for a team that would be flexible with the schedule while matching our needs. PTaufiq Photography was highly recommended by a close friend and wedding vendor. Pervez and I chatted for almost 30 minutes just to know each other and turned out we had very similar tech backgrounds. I told him how long of coverage I was looking for and was willing to work with me if we went over that time. He mentioned that he would come up with a 5 min video of the wedding and a 30 min video, along with providing us with all the raw footage. He was willing to give us a live stream of the wedding which helped with all friends and family members who were not able to attend our wedding. Anytime I called he was willing to pick up the phone and chat. We really connected with him and his team and they all are like close friends to us now. Engagement Shoot: We decided we wanted to do two photo shoots in Boston and Pervez on photography and Richard on video. Pervez really connected with us as a couple and took amazing shots while we did an Indian outfit and a western outfit. He was always open to any poses and he had some really cool poses himself. He is really talented at making sure the camera angle has perfect symmetry with us and the background. Richard had some really cool video shots he took of us almost like a 180 degree video of us as a couple walking and talking. These guys were so easy to work with on this day and were super flexible. Haldi: Pervez came to our house for the Haldi ceremony also known in south India as the preparations of the groom and bridge for marriage. We had Pervez on photo, Kaelib photo and video, Joe on video and We ended up going way over on time and I didn?t even hear a peep out of Pervez and his team. They were excited and wanted to capture those precious moments. We were able to do a couple photo shoots throughout the event and his team was able to just blend into the crowd. He brought his drone that day to capture some amazing shots of us together for our video. Wedding: Pervez and his team showed up right on time an hour and half before everything was about to start. He got video interviews with my wife and I and we can?t wait to see what we each said about each other. They got some video and photo shoots of both of us getting ready. The day of the event his team was able to take amazing shots of the entire event while blending into the crowd. We didn?t necessarily follow our agenda and his team was able to adapt flawlessly. They worked the entire 6 hours of the wedding and I didn?t hear a single compliant from them. They really delivered VIP service for our wedding. Reception: Nicole showed up an hour before the cocktail hour and took some amazing shots of my wife and I. Joe and Kaelib blended into the crowd to capture those candid video shots of the crowd and all the events that unfolded that evening. They were able to use the drone to capture our special performances that night along with capturing the family interviews of us as a couple. Dele worked really hard throughout the night capturing those photos of family/friends? shots with bride and groom while dancing was going on. Nicole was super sweet making sure we got away from the crowd and got a chance to enjoy the food. She also made sure we got some time in the photobooth and got some time to enjoy the event with our friends and family on the dance floor. It was a pleasure to work with PTaufiq Photography team that day and they blended into the crowd and were able to capture those precious moments. Post Events shoot: Pervez was so excited from the wedding and engagement shoot and shared a couple amazing shots with us the same day via email. He finished editing over 500 shots from the events about 2 week and provided us the ability to view them online. Keeping in mind his team is busy during the crazy summer weddings season. PTaufiq and his team wanted to see our reaction to a teaser that his team created about 3 weeks from the wedding. Both my wife and I watched our 30 second teaser and ended it with tears. The team was able to capture and present all the highlights from each event and end with an amazing 360 video of our first dance together. The video looked as if it was the greatest week with amazing parties throughout the week, while ending with our most emotional hug during our first dance. If the trailer came out this amazing we can?t wait to see what the final videos will look like. The crew: Kaelib is really good at asking those touching questions to get those emotions of how you feel about your significant other knows how to capture those personal memories on video. Joe is a video guru who can envision a entire movie and knows how to capture those moments in order to stich them all together to tell a great story. Pervez is an absolutely amazing photographer. He is a lighting and proportions geek and makes sure he has perfect lighting in every shot. He has one of the funniest personalities and is really an adult kid. He is very relaxed and knows that wedding are chaotic however he tells you just focus on the two of you and I?ll capture everything. Nicole ? we thought we couldn?t meet anyone better than Pervez, however when we got to meet her, we quickly learned she was a huge sweetheart. She was amazing at capturing those special shots before the reception began. Richard ? great guy who pays attention to detail when taking video, especially the 180 degree video shots he takes. Dele ? did a great job taking photos of our reception, did wonders with the limited lighting on the reception stage photos. Hire PTaufiq Photography !
