We took wedding planning services/consultancy from Panigrahana for our events at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was overall a great experience working with them. We got to know about them when we met Ajit Upadhyay at a Wedding Expo in Bangalore. His attitude and approach left a lasting impression on us. He explained everything so clearly. We especially loved Panigrahana's day events decor portfolio from Instagram and we had a day wedding which made our decision an easy one :). Our main point of contact after Ajit was Operations Lead Dhanush, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to handle & lead our event. Dhanush is young, extremely hardworking, and possesses an incredible amount of patience. He was always eager and focused on one mission: making the event a success! My maternal family is from Tamil Nadu and they loved Dhanush speaking in Tamil with them while the wedding was being held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha :) This guy is indeed something. He speaks fluent Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and coordinated with the vendors on both the days of the event and managed the whole event really well. The entire team was professional and dedicated, but Dhanush truly stood out with his commitment and enthusiasm. I made two wrong decisions with respect to my wedding. 1. Deciding to sign up this event management company in June 2024. 2. Deciding to go ahead with this event management company despite seeing multiple red flags in January 2025, just a few weeks before the marriage. We had been very clear since the beginning that we have a very clear budget in mind and we cannot overshoot it. Considering the fact that they were not able to find the best possible resort fitting our budget, we found something that we liked and we asked them to close out the discussion with the resort. The fact that they were not able to earn any commission out of this, might have resulted in lack of interest in making our most important day memorable for us and our families. During the planning phase two months before the marriage, there was a point when they even quoted - Chaintanya ("The Founder") will be taking up only Big Fat Indian Weddings and will not be dealing with smaller weddings. The biggest red flag for us where we should have taken the decision to just cut these folks off and deal with the resort directly, but then unfortunately we gave them the benefit of doubt and it backfired us. The actual marriage event was not a mess - credit where it is due - only the decor was decent. But rest of the management, it felt as if they were unprepared and they could not take decisions which would have made our lives easier. Keeping all of that aside, marriage events are bound to be chaotic and we managed to handle it in some way. Resort was finalised by us, so they had no room for error. Food for the event was managed completely by the resort so everything was fine there. Make up artists we finalised, so we knew what we had signed up for. The only thing that we dependent on them was Photography. I was going through the photographs and videos from our marriage event in January 2025 today (4 months later) and I could not find a single good picture in the collection of 4000 photos. Best part is, there isn't a single picture of the couple with their parents. The photos taken by the guests captured better emotions than the ones captured by the photographers. And this hurts very badly because, photographs are the only memories from our marriages and we don't have a single good photo that we can proudly hang at our home on the wall. We feel cheated because, "the founder Chaitanya" had assured us that he has closed on a deal with an agency called Shutterbug. Based on the instagram profile of this agency, we decided to go ahead with them for our marriage events. But when the actual output from the events came, we were told that the photographers who had come for the event they were freelancers of Shutterbug. Shutterbug founders completely disowned the mistakes and said we are not associated with this event in anyway. Looking at the photos and videos just disheartens us big time. We are never going to get this time back, we are never going to have our families come together for a grand event like this. Thanks to Panigrahana, we have ZERO good memories! Hope it does not happen with you, so be very careful before you sign up these guys. Before Choosing Panigrahana for Your Wedding, Consider This: • Varapooja decor was well-executed, but that’s where the satisfaction ended. • Reception decor was completely different from what was promised: • Ceiling and backdrop were far below the agreed-upon standard. • Entry effects, which were discussed multiple times, were entirely missing. • Crowd management was chaotic, with no team members present at the start to handle it. • Muhurtham decor was equally disappointing: • Old-looking pillars and decor elements that didn’t match the vision. • Orchids were used despite explicitly requesting otherwise. • Entry effects, once again, were not provided. • Zero accountability from the team: • Abhishek and Nishitha were dismissive and unresponsive throughout the event. • “Shadow” support was nowhere to be found when needed. • Response times were inadequate across the board. • The vendor assured personal oversight but was absent when it mattered most. • We placed our trust in them over our previous decorator and deeply regret it. • A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and nothing can undo the disappointment of failed commitments. If you’re considering Panigrahana, think twice—we wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience.

The Decor was excellent. Panigrahana and team was very responsive to everything for what i asked. the budget was very mostly within a reasonable price.
