It’s been a week since my wedding. I intentionally waited before writing this review so it wouldn’t be dismissed as an impulsive reaction, but as one grounded in facts. This time also allowed me to attend another wedding that was led by a planner, to check whether my expectations were unreasonable. They weren’t. In short, the planning experience with PSPL was extremely unorganised and anxiety-inducing. It was frequently marked by gaslighting, delayed responses, and deliverables that remained pending until a day before the wedding, despite repeated follow-ups. There were big promises and consistent under-delivery. My partner and I engaged PSPL for our residential wedding in Delhi this December and worked closely with them for eight months. The issues below were not isolated incidents but a repeated pattern. While Pankhury’s demeanour is friendly and she may have good intentions, her execution repeatedly fell short. I’m unsure whether this stems from lack of experience, expertise, or follow-through, but either way, *my family, my partner, and I paid a very heavy price for it.* 1. Delays and lack of foresight Even basic tasks took weeks of persistent follow-ups. For instance, finalising printing costs for signage took 2–3 weeks, despite repeatedly asking to close these items well before the wedding events began. This resulted in my family and me managing several planning tasks ourselves during the wedding week, instead of being able to enjoy the celebrations. There also appeared to be little foresight around standard wedding-planning logistics: When asked to suggest venues close to the hotel we had finalised, PSPL recommended one that was 1.5 hours away, sending our family on a needless chase. Vendor information was often shared as brochures without clear commercials or deliverables. When asked to print Shagun lifafas, PSPL delivered office envelopes at the last moment, leaving my parents embarrassed and arranging alternatives under pressure. (And these are only a few examples.) 2. Deflection of responsibility When concerns around transparency or accountability were raised, the response was often to deflect responsibility. In one instance, PSPL communicated with guests asking them to arrive later than planned, in a crude manner, without our approval. This was later attributed to us. Weekly check-ins were also frequently cancelled without notice and not rescheduled. Later, we were questioned for moving forward with planning independently, despite the lack of engagement from their end. 3. Limited presence during key events Despite the issues during planning, we expected the team to hold things together during the wedding events. That did not happen. We were charged a premium for experienced hospitality staff. However, my shadow was a 19-year-old and had been a shadow only once before. The first day felt less like support and more like hand-holding. My sister’s shadow faced similar issues. We also paid for: A vendor coordinator, yet I was coordinating timings myself with the band and makeup artist. A transport coordinator, though my wheelchair-bound grandmother waited around 30 minutes for a car back to the hotel. During key moments, Pankhury and her core team were largely absent. When asked, we were told the team works 8-hour shifts, which raises the question of what value a residential planning team is actually providing. 4. The sangeet night Before the sangeet, we were clearly told that music would be permitted until 2–3 AM, based on which we booked a DJ. On the night, the hotel shut the music down at 11:30 PM. At that point, the planning team was not present, and my family had to handle the situation directly with the venue. When this was raised later, the response involved emotional distress and a suggestion that the team might withdraw from the remaining events. It also became evident that some of the tension stemmed from the fact that we did not engage many of PSPL’s vendors and were involved in negotiations ourselves. The vendor options shared were limited and often not aligned with our taste. In several cases, prices quoted through PSPL were significantly higher than those we obtained independently. 5. Wedding day execution On the final day, my father missed important rituals because he was handling sound checks, verifying décor deliverables, and coordinating vendor arrivals—responsibilities that should not have fallen on him. The wedding was ultimately successful, but that was despite PSPL, not because of them. It came at a real cost to my family’s peace and ability to be present. Final Note I would not recommend PSPL to couples looking for a planner who offers organisation, foresight, and consistent on-ground support. If anyone believes this account is exaggerated, I am willing to share screenshots, messages, and photos of deliverables. PS: Most of her reviews on google and wed me good are posted by her own staff so be very very careful.

Had hired Pankhury and team for a one-day wedding event at our home. Though we had been promised top-notch quality and timely delivery, we had the WORST experience possible both in terms of the finally executed work, and the absolutely unprofessional conduct from the team. Since we had hired them based on some online reviews, listing out some details of our horrid experience so that no one else is duped into their false promises and assurances –  1. Several items finalized in the deliverable list were either not delivered or shoddily delivered. For example – see photos of the mandap attached (flowers were only put on two sides above when anyone in the business knows that it should be on 4 sides at the very least!!). Similarly, the team had promised several standees and candle stands, instead they shoddily put up tea light candles directly on our wooden tables, without any holders (photos attached). 2. The tasks assigned were not finished in time – our event was supposed to start from 12 noon, and decor was going on until 1 pm. Final touches were only executed in the second part of the event, when I pointed out lapses. 3. On the wedding board put up on the entry of our house, the team got the bride's name wrong!! So much for their promises of making our day special. 4. To top it all, Pankhury Sharma, the founder of the company has a despicable and rude tone while interacting with clients, which is unheard of in the service industry! Several times, when I pointed out problems in the works to her, she was not just rude with me (the groom's sister) but openly disrespected the elders in our family, including the groom and the bride's mothers. 5. The team also has a knack for overcharging and fleecing clients – it was proposed that I pay Rs.350 for one gajra that I had requested Pankhuri to bring for us additionally from the mandi! Absolutely deplorable. 6. Though we were promised real flowers in all the decoration worth Rs.35,000, I eventually saw flowers which were mostly artificial and not even true to the colour theme decided - in a white and pink/peach decor theme, Pankhuri had put in yellow flowers!! 7. Upon completion of event, when a refund was rightly demanded from the team, they firstly refused to accept their mistakes and were AGAIN arrogant in their behaviour. After a lot of insistence, only a pittance of a sum was refunded in view of the overcharging for gajras and thereafter they cut all communication from us, which is again extremely unprofessional to say the least. In sum, the team is highly unprofessional, unqualified and not equipped to deal with clients. Please save yourself the trouble and do not hire this company for any of your events. Pankhury Sharma & Company are not just wedding planners..they attach emotions to whatever they do and that makes all the difference. Its founder Pankhury Sharma is one gem of a person and she and her team meticulously planned all the minute things right from the travel of our guest to the decor. She made it a point to know Ritu and me better & deliver all the things of our interest. The level of brainstorming that went into everything was amazing, and the way q events team executed it to perfection was just incredible! Wont be wrong in saying that they are the best and we were glad that we chose them to plan our fairytale dream wedding !! Love u team Pankhury Sharma & Company!!❤️

I think just appreciating pankhudi will not do justice to my experience with her. She is absolutely fabulous lady i have ever seen. My wedding was on 19th of November 2018 and the way pankhudi managed every single thing with detail is something which impressed me and my family a lot.
